Well, if there is an estate managing Palmer's creative assets, then yes there would be.
There is the rather naive possibility that the fan ask the surviving devs to provide base assets that can be reused.
Or failing that, use other people's fanmade assets with permission, if such things exist.
Who knows? Might even become one of those games made by "the community" that almost never get updated cause of how hard it is to wrangle such a large and informal team.
