I'm trying to play PFif on my mac using Wine, but everytime I execute the game file, I get a massage of "Bad EXE format for System\RGSS301.dll." Am I missing a file or something?

Actually, turns out the problem was the program I used to unpack the rar file. Was some glitch in one of the updates.

I guess that's the trouble. You should download the Winrar Trial version, instead of 40 days. It's actually infinite, so you can keep using it forever.

It looks like the saves for Parallel Fantasy Zero+ here don't unlock all the cg on the translated one if I try and move the files over. Also the translated version seems to have a much larger gallery. Is the OP version the last updated version?

Is there any walkthrough for the first game? I kinda got stuck at one point and the only thing left that I can find seems to lead to a game over event.

Sorry for bringing up a dead post, but I had a problem with the translated version of the game where it gave me an error when monster encounters triggered in the grasslands outside of towns that said something along the lines of "x for nil:nilclass". Can somebody help me?

unfortunately, I didn't really play it completely and thus didn't get that error. tbh I just checked if the game was running without any issues and then linked it here. Try changing the locale to Japanese.If it it still doesn't work it may be because of
1. that the machine translation may have incorrectly changed a parameter or something. if that is the case, well tough luck.
Or 2. unzipping error
Try unzipping using the latest version of 7zip/winrar.
Or 3. there was a problem with the original file itself, again if that's the case, well, tough luck.
