This is my general stance when approaching anything with an anime aesthetic. Look I can tell most of the time but damn it, it's not my fault if the artist draws a girl character and give it extra parts to throw you off. Still cute and so I dont care.

Was the same for me, I played the game with the screen maximized and the textbox disappeared, when I made the window smaller the textbox reappeared, perhaps try this?
