There is a market for everything, though I usually prefer the male mc undercover voyeur stuff and slow corruption (no sex or nude within 5mn of playing like I've seen many times). NTR I like but usually it's so badly written in western games there's no point really.
And Abyss was actually not bad at all, are you abandoning it too?
Just don't stop every game you create, that's what makes people out: finish a game, build a reputation...

Actually no... What causes a drop in people being a Patreon is usually one of the following reasons:
1) When 'dev's start working on 2+ games at the same time
2) They take forever to actually release anything (or release shitty 5 min worth of game play in an entire month)
3) Have zero coherent story and/or tack on shit that makes no sense or start pandering to a niche crowd that formerly wasn't the focus of the game.
I have dropped a lot of developers on Patreon for any and all of these reasons, especially when they start working on multiple games at once and/or start to take months between updates that don't really add anything new to the game itself.
I can name multiple games that don't have cuck/NTR in them that make pretty good, Dreams of Desire, Dating my Daughter, The Twist, just to name a few. Of course, those cater to other fetishes, but if you just want to make a game with an "alpha" male as an excuse to make some rapey type thing you'll find that turns people off also.
And yes, look at a lot of those NTR/cuckgames, many/most of the most popular also have women as the MC and they are basically bimbofication (or corruption I guess is a different way to the same end result).
Make a good story game, release updates timely that actually have content, and make it look like you spent more than 5 min making poses, or not using stock/default models (if using 3D) and your game will make bank.

In the new update of the Twist, you can cuck yourself, Dreams of desire aswell if you choose the wrong outfit , and DMD i guess its starting a little bit ( option to let people watch ) but i agree with most of the things you said

Oh, I see. Seems you prefer quantity over quality. In 10 days you can't make anything good, just a huge pile of crap. It's ok if you like it, but I don't want to be yet another shitlord. If a game has many bugs, it doesn't mean that author works hard. It means he doesn't even care to test it. If a 3D picture looks good, it means author spent hours setting up the lights and this is the work, not making 100 ugly pictures in short terms.

Pretty sure the reason you keep losing Patrons is your own incompetence. You can't deliver a single finished game and keep abandoning projects. Hell you're pretty much telling us you're thinking about abandoning Abyss to work on this new one, again.
People just don't trust you enough not to leave them hanging, plus your games just aren't good. You talk about quality, well there's no quality in Abyss or any of your previous games. At least the lousy shits who put out 100 renders per month for their shitty games don't abandon their shitty games like you do so frequently. Keep talking a big game and end up like the rest of the shit who people just don't care about anymore, it's not like you're remotely popular anyway, there's dozens of chums making 5k a month with crappy projects just like yours.

ok i just got thru playing both of your games and i can say with out a doubt that they are crap even games like the four elements have good plot yours not so much (plot of four elements not creative also but still better) or rouge like by oni or even dating my daughter

I will say @slonique has pretty good renders, it's what got me to look at Abyss anyway. After playing it though I found it to be a nothing sandwich. Sure you might have good renders but that is just the bread, I think what it was lacking was substance, you need meat dammit! A game needs something enjoyable: a good story or likeable characters or some witty dialogue or fun mechanics, literally anything. It doesn't help that you are starting to look like another mysterful, that guy scraps and starts new projects every time he has an idea. Unfortunately he only really ever tells the same story over and over again, to his defense though he doesn't charge folks for his hobby. If you can't write a story you can always find a writer, maybe you just need someone to bounce ideas off of. Do not take what people say here personally, that attitude will only ruin you, no artist became a master over night. Accept criticisms and try to adjust and get better.

I must agree with you Adoringfan... Because of the great looking renders, I tried to get used to playing Abyss as well but you can't even corrupt her enough to have sex (or watch her have sex)! Maybe I got it wrong but I though t it was a porn game - boy was I mistaken! I tried this one too because of the great looking renders but without any substance, maybe Slonique should start using his skills (& he REALLY has some serious skills!!) to make comics... there's plenty of good 'uns out there too. Just my 2c worth...

The Twist, YOU (the player) choose it or not, it's not forced on you. DoD, it's again based on player choice. If you don't want to see it reload, choose a different outfit. DmD, it's not even in the game, so don't act like its an example.
For all three of these mentioned, its either optional and can be avoided, or not even in the game. It's not like the Big Brother for example, where the player is forced into it and has no choice other than not play.
So your point again was what?

@slonique don't act like Hillary Clinton and yell at people about why you aren't 50 points ahead, that doesn't help you any. No one is trying to beat you up here, cept maybe @JQuiche who is probably right that you might need a break. Play to your strengths and at least be able to admit your weaknesses.
I keep looking for the good gameplay formula. You know, It's damn hard to create something playable, criticizing is always much more easy. I spent almost a year on my first game KULT and got $20 on patreon. Twenty bucks for a year of work, awesome! When I started the Abyss, I had less then $100 donations. Today I have $1k and I keep trying. I don't promise a lot, I don't spam in twitter "OMG new release is coming in 2 days", I just fucking do it.
