I came to this game backwards (after already enjoying Kingdom of Deception) and the RPGM conceit is a little grating, but it's nothing some judicious cheating can't solve for me.

Most of the controls are easy to figure out (arrow keys, Z, X). Here are some you might not know:
F1 Reconfigure key bindings
Shift Run
Alt+Enter Full screen (may be buggy on some computers)
Ctrl Toggle text box off/on
Q Toggle Riven's image off/on (may need to be pressed twice in some cases)
