Well they did say that while the guy is composing they're also working on adding more content into the update, if that's true we aren't losing content in anyway. But if the update comes and it's just a regular sized update with nothing special other than the music then we can know for sure something fishy is going on.

And that is exactly what I am worried about - if content is going to be held back, I'd be quite disappointed as I really enjoy this game in particular. Guess I just enjoy the characters, despite, or maybe because of them being basically walking stereotypes.

Happy holidays everyone! ❄ Here's an update, since I know a lot of you are wondering about v0.8.0 of Mythic Manor.
As you may know from our last update, v0.8.0 will include many improvements to the game, such as music and sound effects (and content too).
The majority of v0.8.0 is already finished. Most of the content we originally planned to include in this version has been added. We've also added the lewd & normal sound effects and a large portion of the music and ambience.
The composer we hired is in the process of creating the last few songs. Initially we were aiming for a mid-December release, but song creation takes more time than we'd anticipated. The music is a big part of what we wanted in this update and it's already coded in, so we'd like to release with it. Please be patient, it's worth the wait! We are very pleased with what he has done so far.
We will get the game to 99% completion this week and if there's still more time, we will squeeze in even more content than originally planned. Though keep in mind, we will be busy with family for a few days during the holidays.
Once the music is ready, we will be able to release v0.8.0 very soon after. We'd just need a few days for final testing and finishing touches, then it will be available here on Patreon.
Again, we really hope you understand and we appreciate your patience! We'll post another update as soon as we have the release date for v0.8.0.

Some events need other to have happened for them trigger, Sonic93XXX and Well-Known Member pointed out to someone a few pages back you need to do Esther's sunday birthday event first for that Vella one to happen.

Everyone was worried that the game would be delayed or held back by the additional music and sounds were right to worry because there it is. Held back by music and sounds no one really wanted.

Bit disappointing that he's focusing on music but it's his game and I've got plenty of other games to play in the mean time i guess.

I also don't care about sounds in a game I have to read everything anyway, and about music that I always switch off and listen to something better and more relaxing while playing. It was really unnecessary and the delay because of it was also unnecessary, but even though as much as I wanted to play next chapter of the game, I am not mad, it's just a porn game that I get to play for free when I have a time for myself and nothing really to do.

While there's a lot of ppl whom dislike the necessary of the sound/music, in contrast, globally there's also a ton of ppl whom demanding it and even mocking the game for being so cheap
And since the dev only doing his best for making this game better for us, including non-patron who still able to enjoy the game without spending any penny, imo it would be fair for giving it a chance

Just play another good games or starting over in the mean time while waiting, it's not like the release will came faster by keep pilling the complains anyway

Ofc, feel free to complain if by any chance when it got released he didn't keep his words about adding more contents than originally planned as the compensation for the delay

For now, let him and us enjoy the New Year's golden week holidays

I disagree with saying it is 'necessary', as many great games here don't have it, and to me when they have music, especially when it is really loud on the main screen (as is always is when it is there), takes away from my enjoyment, not adding to it, so I turn it off as soon as possible when it's an option (hopefully before waking my neighbors or blowing out my ear drums). At least it's not voices...

Don't get me wrong, I am not really complaining, if they want to wait, that is their right, but it would have been a bit more diplomatic to have put out the partial update without the music, and then a smaller patch with the music and the extra content that they mentioned when it is ready. Maybe that's a lot more work, maybe not, I don't really know what's involved in that part of it yet, but that's what I would have tried to do anyway.

But either way, you can't really blame people for being kind of disappointed that the thing they want is being delayed by a thing they really don't want.

Ahaha, yeah, I've said (dunno, few pages ago?) that I'm also on 'no sound/music' faction, heck, i'm even rarely turn on the audio for any mobile games since it could make my device heated faster
But after vi siting many threads of many games here, I could pretty much see that the 'sound/music is a must' faction are quite large too while obviously it won't be easy to find the exact number from both factions

I'm pretty much understand the disapointment of some ppl here since I'm also one of fan whom expecting the update since weeks ago, but at the same time also trying to understand why the dev go to such length to even hiring a pro for adding something which couldn't be sure would got accepted by majority fans whom been waiting the update for months
That's why this is the second time I'm simply trying to emphasize 'he's just doing his best' and 'let's wait patiently'

Obviously not because I'm trying to defend the dev as his hardcore fan, just think it as my own selfishness to prevent the discussion place which I like to got fulfilled with disappointment posts and gloomy atmosphere

I play most of my games in mute mode, some sounds can be quite annoying
