The developer has recently said that she is working on it, however the game is in a constant state of being basically abandoned because we get a 20 minute update about once a year. So it depends on what your definition of abandonment is. Is a game abandoned if you hear nothing from the developer from a set amount of time? Is it abandoned if the game doesn't get updated for a set amount of time? I don't know, but there are a lot of games on this list that could fit the abandonment criteria depending on your definition, and consequently I've been going back and forth on whether I should remove them or not

You know a lot of developers are treated like crooks or bad workers, and they usually want the updates to be big and constant, like they have a dedicated development team. What I am going to tell you is my personal experience in the development of my game, I have been creating content with a final duration of 50 minutes for more than 1 year. Unfortunately, a collaborator who was recently joining to make animations died of covid. Another left the project because at a family and emotional level the covid affected him. They are necessary and irreplaceable people. I am sorry if in your experience the Patreons that you have often let you down, I do not deny that they exist, but many times it is difficult to make a game and that everyone is happy.
And when you think you've finished an update, you need to work on the next one, but I think this meme defines it all.

And I think you couldn't put a better definition of my game on your list.
It took me too long because I remade the game in the new graphics engine, in addition to completely redoing the maps and now I'm finishing adding 5 new languages.

Here's another one to keep an eye on, but it has males on it (though you can avoid them). Still, most likely the idea is to keep adding content and maybe/likely there's going to be more futa content. Even though doesn't fits criteria (no males), it's still worth checking out, and keep on the bench of "lotsa possibilities" for the future.

It's on -relative- early development.
There's no futa enemies I can recall, but your character can be one, so for those wanting to fuck your way with a futa, you'll be ok.
MC has a good bunch of customization at character creation (so no "you can be futa later", you get the tool of trade from the get go).
Since it's a new game, there's only 1 town (but it's big, and detailed), and half a dozen enemies (each with 3 animations, depending your gender), plus interactions (sex duh) with NPCs. There's some basic set of items, very decent and simple combat, and excellent graphics.
Orientation:
none, fuck or get fucked. But as said, there's no futa on futa yet.
Graphics:
mid to high. My old PC couldn't handle any Unreal game, but this one run at minimal settings and a bit of lag. On good PCs it works so smoothly that you'll spend time just running around enjoying the graphics.
Playability:
excellent. It's very precise, there's no crazy camera spins, and movement/look around/combat works perfectly. I actually spend like half an hour running towards the border of the map, fell out, and could climb back without restarting!
Replayablility is low, since there's few enemies for now, but is good as time-killer when you're bored.

Overall, seems like the dev spent a lot of time doing the technical stuff ( hats off), and released the game for testing. So, we're seeing the content development instead of the usual "just fixing/no content update".

Just stumbled upon a nice futa platformer called "Setalia the demon realm". I wasn't expecting much tbh, but the game really took me by surprise and I had a blast playing through. The final boss was surprisingly epic, and the atmosphere of the game quite well done.
Main character is a futa, and so there's a lot of non-con futa on female/futa on futa/tentacle, etc

This is going to be a long answer that tangents off to important matters, so you all can read it or ignore it. So listen guys, I try to be as transparent as possible so let me break down what happened. I added the game to the list and then by some network error, the list changes wouldn't save. So while I'm sitting here trying to update the list I'm thinking to myself "would I ever really play this game?" and the answer was no. That doesn't mean it's a bad game, I'm just at this point with myself where certain types of games that lack certain qualities are just not doing it for me anymore. I played through the entirety of Fallen Angel Marielle by toffisama, and by the end I just wanted it to stop. It was a game that I can recognize was a good game that I'm sure many people can and have enjoyed, but it basically had no story at all, so by the end I was like "are you kidding me, what was all of that for?". I barely had any fun walking around punching people so I was just suffering through it to collect the sex scenes, which were not doing much for me anyway because they felt soulless: just a gif that sped up until some semen shot. The love room scenes were good for me but it just wasn't enough. So I started doing some introspecting. I'm looking back at the amount of games I've played because they fell in this futa genre and I'm asking myself how many of them did I actually enjoy. Not many. I was suffering through games I considered awful, going through fights I didn't want to, going through puzzles that just annoyed me, stories that bored me just so I could get to that sexy futa scene, and let me tell you now, it's not worth it for me anymore. Then a while after Marielle I played Offcuts and it just clicked with me (I know the issues with the developer-it's not the point here). I actually cared about what was happening; I cared about the story. Porn or no porn, I wanted to know what happened next. I was actually having fun. So here's what I've gathered about myself, I ideally want visual novels. I just want a good story; I want to care about what's happening in the game; I want to care about the characters; I want substance. I'm playing Offcuts and Katawa Shoujo, and I'm actually having fun after so long of not. There is a level of game mechanics like fighting and puzzles that I might be willing to suffer through if the story is good enough but honestly guys, I generally don't want to. I think you can break porn game audiences into 3 categories. People who will play through any game if the sex scenes are good enough, people who want fun gameplay along side their porn games (the people who like those action games), and the people who want that good story and characterization. And I'm discovering that I'm in the final category. So what is the point of all this? Two things. Number one, if you're the type of person (like I was) who's playing through games that they truly don't enjoy just so they can reach those sex scenes, maybe it's time to ask yourself if it's really worth it. Number two, I don't know if I'm qualified to, nor do I know if I want to continue this list. I will not add just any futa game I see to this list for reasons disclosed previously, and as I keep getting more and more selective I'm just losing sight of the purpose here. I do want to iterate again however, these action games aren't bad. If you like them, that's absolutely cool. Play them. I can see how Fallen Angel Marielle is a good game, I can see how Setalia the Demon Realm is a good game; it's just not giving me what I want anymore. Regardless, I want to thank you guys for being so hospitable and nice. I don't think I've seen a single toxic comment in this thread and it's incredible. Ya'll are just a welcoming bunch of softies and that deserves praise. Thanks for reading.

TLDR: I have some thinking to do. I've made some recent self-discoveries that have pushed me away from certain types of games in a genre that's already small and niche. I'm not sure if I want to continue the list. So, and this is good practice anyway, if you have something on this list that you want, it may be a good idea to follow it, add it to a txt document; whatever you want to do. If I make a concrete decision you will all be made aware.

Hey RHFlash I'll just say that I'm happy to hear that you had this realization about your preferences! And I can definitely relate as I had mine a while ago as well and stopped forcing myself through finishing media that I didn't like, be it anime, movies, games, whatever. It's a good feeling to be honest with yourself because the things that you do like become that much enjoyable.

Regarding this thread specifically I think it's fine either way if you want to continue to maintain the OP or abandon it altogether. It's up to you really... you just shouldn't force yourself if you're not feeling it anymore.

With that said tough, if you do wish to continue to maintain the thread, I think it's perfectly fine to revamp it to only have those games that you find truly enjoyable (heel, maybe even with a short review of why you like them ).

I mean the thread was always subjective to your own tastes anyways, so updating it to match your new realization is ok. As long as you're upfront and clear in the OP that the list is about very specific set of futanari games that are story dense and have rich characterization it will all work out well.

And if you're worried about the current list, or you are anticipating people in the future asking for it and complaining... well, you laid down a good and simple solution yourself: copy and paste it into a txt file and attach it to the OP. Then you will have the new list fitting your preferences, and other people can look up the old list if they so desire.

I can easily get where you are coming from as I am currently in a similar situation/mindset myself so I respect your decision to take a step back and reflect. In regards to continuing this list or not, my personal opinion is that it would be best to leave this list as is and maybe still add to it (and not delete anything) if you regain some interest down the line but also create a new list that follows your current sensibilities/interests so that it is easy for people to differentiate between the two. A new list would also be useful as it wouldn't be bogged down by any of the comments or opinions about this list and would be better for newcomers. Either way, it's up to you but just know that you have the support of most of the people who follow this list and myself.

Oh man, you really need to play the games that I recommended, they are all about the story.

I know exactly how you feel, because I'm in a similar situation. I like the game to have a story, otherwise I might as well watch porn.

Thats also the reason why I dont like short games. I dont feel invested enough.

I downloaded "Fallen Angel" and didnt even play through the first room because I immidiatly thought that it wouldnt be worth it.

Best game for me is definitly "Lust City" and my russian language classes are paying off .

Sadly the futa (be it with both genitals or not) genre is very limited, and especially for me, because I only care about the protagonist being a futa, I dont care about other futa characters. So I might feel forced into playing a game when it has a futa protag even if its bad.

Whatever you decide, I'm fine with you putting games, that only you like. But do let us recommend games, even if they dont fit, since people may find something interesting in the comments.

Ye, I see your point, got the same problem of playing through games I don't care about because they "might" have good scenes in them, but it just get tiring at some point.
Also don't worry about us, you're the one making the list, as long as the reasons behind said list are made clear for everyone, do what you want, no point in playing games you don't like just to be as exhaustive as possible.
