I honestly don't understand the "I skip text" when you're reading a visual novel. Just go to pornhub and watch porn if that's all you're in to.

I mean he said he skipped the football stuff which is fair imo, you can be disinterested in parts of a story while still liking it.
I just quickly scanned over the Football stuff too, I really couldn’t give less of a fuck about it and it’s probably for a lot of Europeans like that.
It’s on a similar dumb and boring level for me like for example wrestling.
But you can still like and enjoy the overall story of an sports talent rising up.
I don’t really remember/know anything about it (the football stuff) other that he’s a corner which is kinda a defender and of course inrecdibliy talented but so far that didn’t restricted the story and is enough to know about football.

I hope you’re aware that a sports talent/star ploughing sluts, whores and groupies isn’t something specific for the us lol
And cricket is probably one of the few examples even worse than wrestling or American football congratz. You could have at least suggested the real football bro.
But as i said it’s not necessary to enjoy/be interested in the specific sport, the AVN is enjoyable anyway and it should be considered as a compliment and not a complaint

In s01e02 there is a variable yudateunsure that is often checked behind two checks concerning yudate, one of which will always trigger given that they're boolean checks making the yudateunsure = True resulting code unreachable.

I'll take a look at it. Will see if I can update the variable(s) without forcing a restart, otherwise I'll just ask at the beginning of Episode 3.
I don't think players miss any content from it and the variables are checked properly, just not called in the right order so it's not like it'd need to a questionnaire to fix things. So far it's just different conversations. Just switch it up so it checks for yudateunsure before it checks for yudate=False for future content.
For example the first instance of this in S01E02.rpyc it's written like this,

I'm also having the same problem, when I try to restart the game from episode 1, I can't get past MCs first monologue at the very beginning. Same thing when I try to save, the game just freezes and closes, does anyone have a possible solution?
Oh, btw is there a way of deleting the saves or it hasn't been implemented yet? I tried hovering my mouse there and clicking the delete button (both on the save and load pages) but nothing happens....
The main story worked as expected on Linux, there were broken things in the character menu but I assume those were the WIP things, not OS specific issues.I've uploaded a Windows/Linux version here with the locale changed to UTF-8 to see if that solves anything for anyone. It might fix it, might make it worse, or do nothing at all. Can't really say.. It's hard for me to gauge since it's working fine for me on W11, and don't have the time (or know-how) to screw with Linux. Would appreciate if someone On Linux

You've downloaded the latest release, which would be the public one here (not sure if they've updated the OP or not with it, haven't checked)? Are you getting any sort of traceback or .txt file with an error? The other person that had a similar issue got their folders mixed up and was opening up the wrong one. Don't know if that's the issue here, but it's hard to help without any other signs.
You can delete Ren'py save in AppData. Windows Key + R > %AppData% > Ren'py > Find Game Folder > Delete Saves.
