I do prefer Caroline, but is that accurate? It would be the first game I know of where the mom didn't auto-win. Which can get frustrating, especially in cases where the mom is pretty much objectively not as hot and the fans just clearly prefer m/s to b/s.
Yeah it is, even on this website (check the poll in the other thread) but more importantly patreon users seem to prefer her the most as well and she won another poll, that's why she will be in the next update instead of Sara or someone else.
Usually I prefer the mothers too in incest games but Caroline is more memorable than your typical sister character

I think Caroline is the most popular atm because she plays the hardest to get, and her story line is on point. Not to mention she's the last family member we have yet to stick our dick in.

Nah, she is just both the best looking character and the best written character, with nothing overtly fucking weird about her (outside of wanting to fuck her brother, obviously).
I like that she is hard to get and isn't immediately ready to get fucked by the MC..She is also the most attractive one, especially compared to Linda and Sara (the others never stood a chance since they barely have any content compared to these 3). Her story seems more "real" compared to the others as well, Sara's is just the same old boring cute sister cliche and while Linda's while more refreshing (she shows initiative unlike other mothers) is a bit one note.

I installed the program but it did not fix my issue. I guess I'll write down step by step how I download and launch it, I might be an idiot without realizing:
I download the latest version off the first post in this thread. I unpack the zip file into an empty folder. I've launched the game through both the .exe in the root file as well as the .exe in > lib > windows-i686
Note that I don't have any sound once the game is launched, despite my normal volume being up, as well as having the sound enabled in the 'Preferences' menu in-game.
When I try starting a new game, the introduction with the suited man only displays a black screen where the animation should be. I have no clue how to fix it and I would appreciate any help so much!
Dumb suggestion but have you tried updating your video card drivers? Also this is a packaged executable so I don't see any potential issue of platform dependencies (e.g. Java, Python)
