Well you could easily say many porn producers are not that good with erotica either! LOL
But Erotica has been with us since the days of the stone age. So many sources they could draw from. They could easily go to a place like Literotica or even Reddit, read a few stories and cobble together a good narrative out of the tropes used in those stories. I mean just about every scenario you could imagine has been done to death.
As for Quests well they are essential otherwise it's just a click through read fest with pictures which I find quite boring myself. The issue is some Devs make it too grindy and usually the payoff isn't interesting or too short to make up for that.
Incest Genre is the most popular game subject because the Kink fits so well with the gaming and quest motif. Half the battle in an Incest relationship is the gaming back and forth in trying to a turn a non-sexual relationship into a sexual one with someone you should not be having sexual relations with.
- The games of exploring and feeding your interest

Games that feature anims usually also feature less content per release due to the fact it take so much longer to render one anim than it does a few simple images. But animations do give a much better payoff.
But the eroticism is't in the anim and pictures it is in the events LEADING to seeing them.
Just as having sex with a person is great the first time you do it and less so as you do it more often.
That is because the first time had a massive build up with the outcome unknown and an anticipatory wait that built up the sexual tension that makes that first time always great while the sex where you go honey I'm home and have sex is not quite as exciting.
So in that regard I agree the pictures are not important to building up the sexual tension but they are the payoff where that tension gets released. The quests are there to help build and set up that tension so the payoff is even better than just a simple collection of clips and movies.

Yeah, I played some of them. But the type of game I'm looking for is not VN. The kind of game I'm looking for is like an open world game. Like switching between rooms. It's like walking around freely.

Something ive just noticed. Decided to go through and play Milfy City again from the start because i havent done it since v0.3 was released.
Just happened to stop on the intro page which shows the map and there are actually 5 locations on that map that we cannot visit (yet!) See attached for my crude circular drawing as for some reason my PC wont screenshot this game. Might be a decent discussion topic for us to speculate in the mean time. Ill go through them left to right.
1) Clearly this a church and i speculated earlier you would at some point be able to visit it but the purpose of it continues to elude me
2) Apartment above the sex shop. I wonder if this is the apartment for the woman who runs the sex shop and is actually the dominatrix of Bob?
3 & 4 ) im kinda puzzled by these one, as well as the School in fact. None of these locations look like the school you see when you clock on the school. The school actually looks like a Swimming pool so i wonder if the school was redesigned but never updated on the map. These 3 coupled with the building the the left of 3 strike me as a University campus but was downgraded to a high school (im assuming)
5) This one im wondering if this is the place you go with Sara on her date? Might get expanded as a beach resort you take other woman with?
Theres also the other locations on the map like the Ferris wheel which probably leads to an amusement park being added. Theres the Chrome and Purple building above Moms workplace which is probably a mall of some sorts. Theres also that georgian style house above that.

I can't believe she isn't stringing the MC along. He uses the joy buzzer on her during class, so she knows it's someone in the class.
