Why does anyone care about any tag? Because, that's what suits their tastes or not. For example, whether it's netorare or netori could be the difference between someone into vanilla but, hates netorare enjoying it or losing their shit. In my case, I have zero interest in NTR type A (basically partner cheats willingly for fun) or Netorase but, strong interest in type B or C (unwilling shit).

Tags are there for people to fine tune their search. If they aren't specific enough people can't find what they're looking for or will wander somewhere they don't want to be. I mean, it's like having the pregnant tag but, the only thing that happens is they get creampied.

Why it sparks discussion is because
A. This is a forum so people are keen to discuss.
B. The tags don't cut it currently so people want to ask or warn others beforehand.
C. People like yourself bitching about the discussion or claiming they don't understand the differences show up. ;)

The problem is that all of those are legit examples of NTR. Because NTR is an emotional fetish that is about the feelings of infidelity, even if it's not actually happening. But most of the time games stick to the same "My girlfriend/lover/wife cheats on me with Big McDick" so it's not necessary to go too deep into what NTR actually is.

For those wondering, female-led NTR games focus on the woman's feelings of infidelity and usually corruption to not care about her previous morals. Netori usually focuses on the conquest feel of stealing someone away.
