Calm down Sparky, allow me to rephrase it as a "system" issue then if it pleases you (since yes, it could be software related on your end). Something is fucked up with your "system". Again, as a coder that must test retail product I have 6 Win units of various architecture and they all pop thumbnails for the VN (I tested each one just for your particular case last night). Something regarding your system (or it's stored cache) is wonky, there is no doubt about this.

All I've tried to do is help you, so quit trying to call me out as my own systems with less than i7 do chug populating them... and your very first post appeared to be this exact scenario for my reasoning and suggestion. Yes there's been more elaboration since. We'll agree it's not "hardware" related, but it certainly is "system" related.

Here's my olive branch for another idea to try (don't give me hostility if this doesn't work or I'm done with all this, I'm not going to waste my time assisting folks that are not civil and rational). The reasoning for this suggestion is due to you stating:

since there's no loading cursor

1. So, go to the image folder with the images in question that are not populating thumbnails and you are not getting the Explorer loading bar (that it's processing them).
2. Insure you have hidden files as viewable.
3. Find any existing "thumbs.db" file and delete it.
4. Refresh your file Explorer window and you should get the loading bar as your "system" is working it's ass off (if there are thousands of image files in the folder) to populate the thumbnail images and rebuilding this correlated database file (cache).

Everything works fine now. Thanks for clearing it up and sorry for making some trivial shit like this a more complicated matter than it really was, but all these new codecs and stuff got me confused a lil bit. For a sec, I thought that stupid windows update or windows defender screwed something up to "improve" my pc's and laptop's performance without my permission. Fuck, that's so embarrassing.

The two codecs recommended in the reply above yours made it work. Calm down, there's no need for childish name-calling. I wasn't being irrational, nor did I mean to offend you, but it was pretty clear it was some missing or faulty codec, first option in my case, causing the issue, not the hardware. If hardware really was the issue, I wouldn't be wasting my time and yours asking stupid questions to which I already knew the answer and simply buy myself a new system to get the job done.

Just found out about this gem and bought it on Steam. I'm guessing, since you screw the neighbor pretty quickly that the "roommate" is the end-game catch? As I say, I'm just guessing here, as the MC has already screwed his ex and the new neighbor in the first few hours of playing the game.

Fuckery ?? Yes, a lot of it, mostly just pointless, where you can rarely see a connection between the MC and Sam, Hailey, or the woman he's fucking, with emphasis on rarely. Endings ?? Where ?? Can't call any of those, whatever this Liv girl, who probably wrote this amazingly disappointing 'story', wants to call them, actual endings, cuz at least 3 of them don't bring any closure whatsoever, they only show us how much of an idiot the MC still is after the timeskip and how spot on Andrew Tate was when he said that money's just an amplifier that's impossible to turn a wimpy dork into an actual man attractive women would want anything serious with for who he is as a person, not his money.

Sadly for our idiotic MC, he became a damn millionaire overnight for reasons and is still seen as only a walking glorified dildo, not serious relationship material, by the sluts only he'd be stupid enough to consider dating material. Fuck that, we've got another Shackbang catastrophic disappointment from these guys, and that after 8 months of development and a lot of promises to fix everything they screwed up in both Lustyverse games.

Can't say I'm too disappointed about this, cuz even the cover of the game, despite its supposedly suggestive title, showing us a creep, the MC, spying on Hailey and Sam doing their lesbian business, instead of being the main man there with them like you'd expect to see in a game like this, speaks volumes about the low quality of this ridiculous game, so it is what it is. Can't get your hopes up for an Inceton game, cuz you'll always be disappointed by what you have played, so it's better to just shut down your brain, enjoy the ride thinking their 'logic' is flawless and you'll be fine.

Just found out about this gem and bought it on Steam.

I respect the fact that you like the game, but it's obviously far from being a gem. Sure, it has pretty good renders and gorgeous female characters, but these two are its only pluses, while the minuses are abundant.

Enjoy playing it man, cuz I sure as hell didn't and was very disappointed by how rushed the story was and the lack of other actual endings except the so-so Albanian prince's and Hailey's.

Does everyone lose music in the main menu or is it just me?
After starting the game and going to the main menu, the music starts playing for one second and then turns off.
Everything is fine on Linux, but on Windows 10 the music stops playing.

"Well-written" is the last word I'd use to describe this game. But nah, the whole 'story' is a complete mess that doesn't make sense and it's also rushed asf. It's so badly written even the writer tells you at the end of those so-called 'endings' that at least three of them suck. It's so badly written that you can tell the game was written by a woman who tries too hard to normalize the need for some women to cheat on their men for a lil fun on the side, making this shit something trivial in the process, and to crucify the men when they give the cheating sluts a dose of their own medicine or just want to get some of that empowerment, confidence and independence female feminists keep rambling soo much about IRL for themselves.

No offense to Inceton, but this girl, Liv, needs to step back and stop writing shitty stories like this one or they need to fire her ASAP, cuz she obviously doesn't have any idea what she does there. It's like she just wrote down a few ideas she had and put them together hoping something good comes out of it. There's no depth to the story, no build up with the female characters, nothing, just plain boring cheating and boring sex scenes with some 2 pump chump who jacks off like a chronic masturbator, but, in a lot of sex scenes, he doesn't have the stamina to please those bitches... in a damn porn game called Passion on Display.

Not saying it was a masterpiece, cuz it received its fair share of negative feedback too, but compared to this nonsense of an unavoidable lesbian fuckfest with no actual choices (why do Inceton still pay a 'coder' for ??), Returning to Mia was a pretty good and decently written game, and except for Hailey, even tho she's real annoying and acts like a bitch on a few occasions, Sadie shits on all these trashy, crazy sluts, while Mia's so good a waifu character that she does to them what cats do when they need to take a shit.

If this is the best we can expect from this Lustyverse series, I think it'd be best to abandon the idea for good and only focus on their current games, finish them and then start working on only 2 games max simultaneously, instead of 4, cuz it's obvious they can't handle all the stress that comes from the developing and do a good job too with these projects.

Game had great potential for harem or just happy throuple ending - MC/Sam/Hailey without this unnecessary cheating drama but there is no real connection between them, with better writing they could end in a great loving relationship. We already know mc is ok with Sam fucking girls but not behind his back. At the very beginning, both should make Becky their slave or something, punish her for cheating on mc or leave her alone and never see her again (we should have a choice here). MC is also a problem, he should behave like a man, using his fucking brain, and defiently has more stamina during sex scenes.

The update on Steam was quite large, I've already deleted all the previous compressed from before. An update only I'm afraid would be close to the same size, as I think it's missing animations, images and the like.
