It may be a good idea for the stills but making any kind of animations with that process will be a pain I'd think. Unless it's not going to have any which would be a shame.

It should be avoidable. Most things that are up in the air right now in terms of sexual content are far off so I don’t have good answers right now.
I have some ideas and methods for animations. The dev of daemons and mythical milfs managed to do it so I should too. But right now the effort to reward for animations I don’t think is worth it but I’ll try at some point.

Going back to the sister, and to be clear, I prefer that you present a female character that looks good and not have any sex scene with her than that you present this female character and have a scene of her with someone other than the MC.
Yeah I think this is the route I’m most likely to go if I decide on the sister showing up. this would be quite a bit far off though
I do still think you could have a sex scene without the mc in a harem game(without ntr) and still have it work but I guess I’ll leave testing that theory for another game.

Introducing the MC's sister so that she then leaves without starting a relationship with the MC is going to generate a barrage of complaints. It's best if she doesn't show up at all.
It should be with an unknown girl who has sex with an unknown guy and they stay that way the whole game. In any case the scene should be at least skippable. But you should be prepared to still have plenty of complaints about the scene.
I'm new to this stuff and I kind of want to learn the hard way so we'll see. The short segment with the sister I have in mind could easily be removed without too much impact to the story or game I'm not too worried.

Right, what would be the point of any of it? "Oh hey sis, having some fun I see. Well I guess I'll see you around". Unless the scene plays out where the MC doesn't even see it which would make it even more pointless to the story.

If you don't want to include incest, it's best to avoid including family.
If you want to make a purely harem game, it's a bad idea to include sex scenes of guys other than the MC with girls. If the girl is unknown it may not be so bad. If she's a girl who's going to appear multiple times in the game or is known to the MC, then it's pretty bad. If the girl is a side LI that is unimportant to the game's plot, that's a lousy idea. If the girl is a main LI... you better not even think about doing it.

That the MC sees the sister having sex isn't a bad idea, it's a worse one. But that the MC doesn't see the scene but the player does have to see it is the height of bad ideas.

Well, they said they want to learn the hard way... It kind of seems like they don't play a lot of these games themselves. Or just aren't bothered by cutting their playerbase in half.
Ok bros chill. I do play a lot of these games more than I care to admit so don't try and take my cred from me ok. The sister stuff was just an idea I was playing around with and it gets too much attention. Thanks for the feedback anyway I do really appreciate it. <3

I wasn't trying to take anything from you. It just seemed like you didn't know that kind of stuff has spurred many heated debates around here. Nothing wrong with discussing aspects of a game on a forum, right?
Don't get me wrong though I love the discussion Its just when every other comment is about the sister thing it feels like people think its gonna be a big part of the game when in reality if it even makes it into the game it would be like 0.01 percent of content. maybe its just me and its not a big deal
I feel like the sister is not the point here, the point is showing a sexual scene that does not contain the MC, the possible candidate being a sister just makes it worse, but any scene that does not contain the MC is meaningless at best, harem games are about romance between a single guy and multiple girls, harem fans are generally unintressed in seeing other guys have sex, I personally find it disgusting, admittedly mine is an extereme stance, that does not mean others will like it, as you can see, I feel like you should not concentrate too much on the sister thing as that is missing the point, the point is only the MC and the girls are important, anyone else is either superflous or straight up detrimental, at least sexually, I already went in depth on some of the other tags and this falls into those, so do not worry too much about the sister, incest is not mandatory in a harem game, just really common, I have never seen people complain about the lack of incest unless the dev makes the relatives attractive and seem interesten in the MC, as long as there are no scenes or mentions of other guys you should be fine, family can not appear at all, the problem starts when you make them appear and make them have sex with someone else, people would definitely prefer a sister to appear and not have sex with anyone than one that appears and gets fucked by a random guy, many would drop the game because of that, having said that good luck in your endeavours
P.S. sorry for yet another wall of text but I felt the need to write this, a lot of dev work is about gaining trust, trust is very easy to loose and almost impossible to regain, when you say you want to learn the hard way I am sorry to say that is something devs don't really come back from, not without a drastic shift in target audience, a single bad scene could taint your game even if removed later, people will always wonder if there is ever going to be another problematic scene added, the problem is not really the sister, it is about managing expectations, you have done a pretty good job about making sure people know that incest is not planned and if anything close happens it will be a very small part of the game, the problem is that a single world can ruin a game, it does not matter how small certain things just ruin everything, this is not meant to be discouraging, only informative, people are complex but patterns are there, they are pretty easy to recognize by looking enough

New Update. Has 1 new sandbox event for Josy and Mili, and two for Hina and Emily (in school section(overall still pretty barren though)) . Nothing too lewd added this update but the next is planned to change that. Also I think I got a way to do pretty decent anims so look forward to those in the future (example is public on patreon page, its short and simple but I didn't put much time into it around an hour so hopefully that bolds well for future).
