If a sister makes an appearance it will probably be really short or more likely as bonus Patreon content. If she gets sexual content it won't be with the mc to avoid the Patreon ban hammer.

Kinda defeats the purpose of wanting a sister character in the game, lol. Make her a roommate or childhood friend for the patreon version and allow the player to either edit their relationship or "someone" provide a patch to change her to sister elsewhere.
Yeah I have changed my mind in regards to that a bit. I do have a character in mind who can fill this role but I don't really have a plan to introduce them for quite a bit of time. Also right now I have a lot of planned characters and a "actual" sister character kind of takes up a lot of space in the story as to do incest right I think you need too focus more on the taboo and the characters around them to make it worth it. Just my current opinion may change with time.
It'll make the incest lovers happy just to know that there will be one down the line. The unhappy ones will just complain that you've taken too long, but it does have to be done right.

I don't see how it could be a good idea to include the MC's sister in a harem game and have her have sex scenes with someone other than the MC.

The characters are all very loosely based on the major arcana tarot cards so 22 in total is the plan and I have the core concept for all them planned out already.

The game looks interesting at first glance but it reminds me of the trend of fake slice of life games that has become popular lately, so I ask for the planned content, the fact a sister character was planned to have sex with someone else is worrying, I do not particularly care about incest but that would constitute as a certain tag that contraddicts with the entire concept of romance and harems, I am sick of games switching the premise on me so I ask, are there any other characters planned to have sex with the girls?

As much as I hate certain things it is not up to me to decide how a game is made but I am absolutely done with games that pretend to be something else, there are already enough games hiding tags behind loopholes and vague situations, attracting a certain kind of audience with a certain premise to just change it later is counterproductive, if you want to attract people that will like your game you should be honest about the content of it, tags exist specifically to allow players to not waste time on games they will not like, that is why many devs add the planned tags in the OP, I hope this is not seen as too aggressive, I am merely stating facts, I have no personal problem with the dev, I just ask for clarity to avoid possible discussions that will inevitably spring up if certain expectations are made and not met, I am not saying that this dev did anything yet, just that others did and I would appreciate clarity from this one, which would actually distinguish your game more, with that said good luck in your endeavours regardless

1. The sister content thing is a bit misleading. my original plan was that a biological sister may show up and say hi and react to the current situation her brother has gotten himself into and leave(no sex between them) . Now personally I don't like it when porn games show me a female character that looks good and there is no sexual content to them. So to remedy this I had an idea that since for patreon only content I plan to just have fun with it and put in scenes that have no bearing on the overall story I could show that biological sister getting fucked in one of those. The scene would play out with literally no mention of the mc and whoever the guy is in the scene would be mentioned as her preexisting bf or just left unanswered and it would take place in a completely different time and place than the main game. Also the character I mentioned filling the role is not a biological sister just one that will fill the role eventually as in living with mc and maybe evening calling him brother and stuff, still a bit off from that character though
1.1. I see people have been worried about NTR but let me say this clearly here. For this game there will be no NTR for the male mc. Now later in the story one of the girls might feel NTR'd by another one but I have a feeling most people who don't like NTR would be fine with this.
1.2. My goal with this game is to do a vanilla harem very well you should be able to understand my thought process for this game if you keep that in mind

The compelling stuff in this game I want too come from the girls personalities and parts of their backstories as well as their interactions with each other.
3. MC for now is the only male character. I think I would like some friend male characters but my method for the art in this game causes all the males I make too look like girls/femboys so right now its unlikely there will be more male characters.
4.The MC in this game is a self insert in the sense as you don't really see him and he's kind of bland. However there are decisions that he will make himself and moments where he as a character becomes important but for the most part I think you can kind of project yourself on him pretty well.

Thanks for the detailed answers, it is important, in my opinion, to be clear on the content you make, now on to a bit of clarifications on my part,
the sister situation is a bit complicated as I understand, but the problem is that, while your feeling of seeing an attractive character not have sexual content is probably shared by many, for harem fans the presence of another dude fucking your sister is meaningless at best and NTR at worst, personally any sexual content not involving MC is meaningless, with this exeample being NTR if it ever where to happen, while my stance on the subject tends to be a bit extreeme most harem fans definitely will not want any content of that kind, ignoring it at best, the harem genre is about the MC, so including that would not really benefit anyone,
a bit of jealousy between harem members is normal and does not really count as NTR if they keep being togheter and stay in the end, that is just harem dynamics, as long as it does not involve a dick or someone outside the harem it should be fine,
I am happy to hear that this will be just vanilla, even if the tags you included later seem to contraddict that, I will go into a little more detail later but just know that some things tend to not mix well with harems,
I am also happy to hear that this will not turn into another LiL situation, while an undoubtedly an incredible game it fails in some rather important things for a harem romance game, particularly for my tastes, also the similar games have kinda saturated the place lately, it was almost like normal slice of life was extinct, as for the girls and the backstories, I think it is possible to make a good compelling narrative out of that alone, however I would advise to keep the involvement of other guys to a minimum in those as well, tragic backstories are fine, sexual tragic backsories are not, just because this is a porn game not everything has to rotate around sex,
I am aware of the limitations of the engine, but honestly I think it is better this way, other male characters risk setting bad vibes for the harem dynamics and add NTR vibes unless executed really well, you may be able to make them work but it would probably not be wort it,
I personally only play self insert games, as I value player agency a lot, if the protagonist is named I immediately ignore the game, as long as we can direct the MC enough and he is not an asshole I should be fine,
now for the tags, I would not worry about the changes yet, as they seem to be a slow moving thing, if anything the new tags will resolve many problems and avoid many walls of text like mine, as for the ones you mentioned it seems like you are not really sure yourself at the moment, which is fine, it is still very early, but since they are here I may as well comment a bit and mention some general advice, most of these are fine, my first advice would be to make certain fetish ones avoidable, as in they do not happen, like anal, not everyone wants to see that, as I mentioned some of these absolutely do not go well with harem and are definitely not vanilla, BDSM and humiliation expecially are literally the opposite of vanilla, so including that and not making it avoidable will make you loose the vanilla fans, as will femdom and maledom if brought too far, pregnancy endings are a pretty common thing, nothing to say about that, may upset some people but it is pretty standard, I personally hate multiple penetration, even with toys, but as long as there is no other guy involved I can tollerate it, I think most harem fans are of a similar opinion, rape is a big no for vanilla romance, especially if it is in a backstory, just avoid that if possible or give the choice to because it ruins a lot of games for a lot of people, the prostitution one is a bit confusing, I would say it does not belong in harem and vanilla either but the only with MC part is confusing, does that mean that the MC prostitutes himself? the girls prostitute themselves only to him? either way it tends to not fit with the majority of harem fans but may be tollerable as long as no other guy is involved, making it avoidable would be a good idea regardless, sexual harrasement is on the same boat as rape, if another guy is involved I, and many others, would consider it NTR, especially if shown, but even if it is not, slavery is honestly a bit strange, normally I would say it depends on the type but since you specified only as roleplay I honestly don't think it would actually need the tag in that case, and lastly with voyeurism as I already mentioned other guys hving sex is meaningless at best and disgusting at worst, harem fans do not really want to see that and they will ignore it at best, which means that making those scenes is just a waste of time, having said that this was just a general consideration of my personal opinions and some common knowledge I gathered by reading discussions, in the end it is your game and you decide how to make it, hopefully my advice, if anything, at least helps prevent further less civil discussions from happening, so once again I appreciate your clarity and good luck in your endeavours.

This game sucks from the very beginning. Sorry but I think you have to be a damn masochist to enjoy it! Your dissed and called a damn loser repeatedly by the ONLY friend you have. WTF! Who the hell wants to play a game where you just put down every minute in just the first few minutes of the damn game?

Personally I prefer that the only guy who has sex scenes is the MC.
