pretty good game honestly. the development of the relationship throughout the story was quite good and gave a really good reason for all the progress between the mc and mary. If you play your cards right you could get the friend too if you want or just go with mary alone, both routes are pretty good and are just preferences. All in all this game was pretty good and highly recommended to anyone who wants a solid visual novel with a clearly main love interest,

Not sure how this has such a high rating. The lack of player choice could be excused if the story and characters were interesting enough to back it up, but sadly they aren't...

Graphics: 3/5
The renders aren't too bad but the two '18 year-old' love interest's faces both look like those of 40 year-old women that had too much plastic surgery. Oddly, Mary's mother looks younger and more attractive than her yet can't be pursued. The MC's expressions are all over the place and it'd be better without him being rendered. Minimal care is taken with the background environments, which are rushed and at one point a white snow covered pond area is presented as 'sand'.

Gameplay: 1/5
While the player is given occasional choices these mostly just lead to a forced game over result 20 minutes later if the correct choice wasn't chosen, which takes away any feeling of choice or interactivity. There is some limited choice over the endings, but these amount to little more than a few minutes of rushed summary.

Story: 2/5
The story is disappointing. The characters lack depth and seem to merely overreact to minor perceived dramas as they occur while the MC has no will whatsoever and is a complete beta male. It's also very short with around a day of content and almost no replayability due to the 'on rails' design.

Sound:
None that I noticed but I actually prefer this to awful music loops and stock sound effects.

Liked the story and Mary, but the MC is too bad. He's not funny, intelligent or something else I wanna be when I'm thinking of myself as MC. So that's the biggest reason that I only give it 4*. That and the ending that is a little abrupt. So, that's was it?, was my reaction when the game was finished.

This is a game I found hit or miss, while generally the renders are decent there's nothing to differentiate them from many others.

The MC's dialogue I found to be stilted and unrealistic. Animations were very basic , the story as well was mediocre, and I felt like it could have worked just as well at half the length as a lot was tedious and repetitive.

Characters were just basic Daz with very little enhancements, the MC's genitalia in particular looked very unrealistic.

Very enjoyable VN game. Quite a chill relationship building story with no major emotional gut punches. MC is a bit wooden but generally a nice guy and the girls are great. Well worth playing and I look forward to more from this dev.

Sweet and romantic. Its a simple story, well told, with a little added spice.
Some may look for more lewdness, but I felt there was sufficient to tell the story properly without overdoing it.

The graphics look good too.

This review is for the final Android version

This is the second vn I've ever played about 2 years ago. Decided to play it again and give it a rating.
The negative for me it's the mc. While he looks very good compared to other mc's, his dialogue it's awful. His responses are so bland and emotionless. I don't remember anything interesting that he might have said throughout the hole game.
Another negative is the lack of sound and music, no atmosphere at all.
The positive is that the game images look good/decent, story was not bad, sometimes it got a bit boring.
Overall, 3.5 stars, I liked the mom and wanted to pursue her, but I guess the game was about the daughter, which by the end got insufferable for me and I ended up with the ex.

A simple story but was able to keep u intrigued throughout. Character models are fine, animations were really nice to watch. The only issue I had was that I couldn't get past the 1st week as she would always leave me but thank god I got my hands on Walkthrough mod which really helped me get past it so trust me Walkthrough mod is compulsory for this

Took me a while to pick this up, since I am more of a harem guy (the harem tag is somewhat misleading since you can't have one in the real sense of the word). Pregnancy tag got me playing it.

Actually, I like it, though I agree with some of the things that have been brought forward here. The MC is indeed a bit robotic sometimes, especially at the beginning, though I don't think it is that bad. The models look quite generic, and so do the looping sex scenes. The game has IMHO somewhat the Patreon VN syndrome; in the end, it runs somewhat out of steam, dragging along, and has a rather abrupt ending.

As in Dating my Daughter, I was actually more interested in the LI's friend than in the LI herself. So you could say that this is a plus, the game having a hot character like Simone. On the other hand, unlike in DmD, apart from Simone you are sexwise limited to Mary. No chance with Mary's mom, who appears quite often.

Another plus is the quality of the text, which seems to contain very few errors (only noticed one misuse of "effect" instead of "affect"). The text was either written by a native speaker or had a good proofreader since there are quite a few idiomatic expressions. With this, the text becomes less generic and I feel less like skipping it.

No sound, doesn't bother me.

I'd say that the plusses outweigh the minuses for me, so the game makes it to the top 1/3 titles in my list.

After playing v1.0.2 final of Life With Mary, here are my thoughts.

I liked:
-the story, it is nice and refreshing especially if you need a break from all of the negativities whether in real life or not. It is realistic compared to most of the stories that we usually encounter when playing porn games.
-Mary's character, if I am the MC of this story, what more can I ask for? She is the epitome of the girl that you want to be with for the rest of your life.
-the player's choices matter in how the story goes
-renders are nice
-hot sex scenes
-hot women
-no forced or unavoidable sexual encounters for the MC and the love interest

I did not like:
-the way the MC talks, he is like a robot or should I say not conversational, but it can be just the way I see it.
-I wish there were more sex scenes with Mary
-the story could be longer and showed more on how the MC and Mary's relationship progresses

All in all, it's still a good game and I'd still recommend it to other players especially those who need something positive or something to lighten up their mood. 4 stars for me.

It is an enjoyable story, dialog is usually good and sometimes even funny. But it feels too short. There are scenes that should be removed because they are misleading, giving you the sense of there being another character who you can romance.

Simone is the closest you get to alternative romance partner, but there was not enough interaction with her during my playthrough to warrant an emotional attachment.

The player is definitly not meant to enjoy a relationship with anyone other than the main girl.

All in all story too short.

Artist is bad at vaginal and anal penetration art.

Most of the animations are softcore. The blowjobs are not bad.

Well, aren't this a nice little VN. It's a pleasure to see the romance blossom between the main characters, three of them for that matter. Every other don't really have a real reason to exist in this game, they probably could be entirely removed and you wouldn't even notice.
My biggest problem though is with the MC itself, dude is completely stoic and a lot of times I thought he was just for decoration like a bunch of characters in the game. He's inaction is borderline stressful, often I would see myself saying "come on, dude! Say something, do something for god's sake!" but nope. And then the game just ends very abruptly. I was like "good, whats next? Oh, it ended.. ok"
It looks like I'm hitting the game harder than I rated, but the romance and story aspect of the main characters was well made and I'm a sucker for those, so I can strongly recommend the game for anyone that likes this and can forgive everything else.

absolutely stunning game. gave me a much needed break from man whoring my way through a lot of VNs.

I only wish there was a scene gallery to view alternate options with Simone of the ex. I can't bring myself to disappoint Mary and do a rerun going the cheating route with the ex.

Was a great game honestly there was really nothing to complain about other then the occasional lag of switching some scenes. The girl is beautiful and the game has a really relaxed tone. It is really one girl focused (even though there is more) but for the most part the idea is that you focus on mary and mary only. The game has a very simple slice of life like story (for these type of games at least).

Can't see anyone disliking this unless they just dislike happy endings or if they prefer crazy.

OK, now that I have finished the game, a few thoughts.

Overall, decent, more realistic story than most of the VN out there. Seemed to be written with very few grammatical or spelling errors. Good sense of humor and mentioned three of my favorite things, Discworld, Lemmy Kilmister and Idiocracy.

The way everything turned out was fine but just like the GOT tv series, it seemed rushed at the end.

Finally played a completed game. What can I say? Not a Nolan level scenario but I felt to play some cheesy loving story and I'm not disappointed. It was actually enjoyable.
Pros:
+ Main LI. Mary. Sweet, pretty, petite young woman with wide personality
+ Visuals. Good. Not best but they are pleasant for eyes
+ Believable "fall-in-love" story
+ Choices and option to be faithful
Cons:
- MC lacks personality
- Kinda rushed ending. I'd enjoy to see marriage and "10 years later" or smth
- No music or sounds
