I might cough up some dosh for an Early Access game, thats "somewhat" fleshed out

So I was looking at porn the other day (that day being today, right now) and I saw a new video posted on e621 by spicedrake showing off some jiggle physics in LDG. Reminded me about this whole fiasco, so I checked out the video and also checked their Patreon again to see how well they were doing.

In a little over a month they went from 78 patrons to 117 (where my Halo fans at), so they went from making $780 to $1,170. Still absolutely pathetic, I could barely live like that and I pay next to nothing on expenses, living with family like the rat I am.

and I just want to remind everyone about what spicedrake said earlier. That they are an extremely accomplished individual that's been "doing various 3D stuff" for over a decade with two degrees and a family living in actual Christian Bible God be praised H-E-Double-Hockey-Stick Hell. I dunno, just seems odd and silly tbh, their Patreon being literally the only source of income they have. Maybe I'm just cynical (I am) but it all seems fishy.

No I feel your sentiments completely. Something that is normally a side thing is peddled like that

Don't believe what people say on the internet, especially when it directly involve their own profit.
Even when what the dev said is true, or how much they earn, What do you care, and why should you?
- that's extremely fishy when the dev mention their personal life on the face of their project, uncalled.
It's usually used in scams to emotionally manipulating targets.

All you need to care is if the game is worth your attention / money, is it just a scam or legit.

"The game will be free when complete"... I remember FEK saying something similar about Rack 2 and until today the game has been abandoned (but at least in the FEK game we could "try" things without having a paywall) [Money is everyone's need, how does the creator of this game expect us to pay for their game if we can't test anything? and when I say nothing it's literally nothing]
