very nice game.. Beautful characters , im playing this game, and not booring.. Very hot Jessica.. I love you. I like it this game , but not lot of patch. Maybe this after more updates come .Exciting and horn this adventures.

If you expect this game to have a decent amount of content since it was published in 2018 you will be wrong, there is almost nothing there except dead ends and it only getting worst in time.

- The renders in my opinion are ugly ( I never liked this shiny, barbie like renders)
- The characters are blanks
- The story is your ordinary NTR story just with ugly renders (And no NTR of course)


I joined f95zone in 2019 and this one was amongst the first game I've played on here, still can't believe it has almost the exact amount of content.

Way too much blue balling. Total lack of sex other than with husband. That is BORING. Teasing is BORING. Sex with other people or GTFO. Too much boring text. This is like a companion to A Wife and Mother. Another boring, no sex all yakking game, like a chick movie. Total snoozefest. Why anyone would want to play such a boring game is very confusing. Who cares if the renders are great if there's no action?

Just played v0.50 for the first time right through and I really enjoyed it. I really like games where the MC is female and in terms of Jessica, she is smoking hot, smart and ambitious.

There are a lot of hot women in this game, but the MC is the hottest (as it should be in my view). She also has absolutely spot on fashion sense and I found myself genuinely looking forward to seeing what new outfit she'd be wearing the next day.

The backdrop to the story is that Jess is an investigative reporter, newly recruited to a city newspaper, however there is a lot of uncertainty regarding her contract and clear signs that her place there is far from secure.

She finds herself working on a few different projects, but the main theme is her investigations into a city vigilante, who models himself on a budget Batman type. This takes her into the darker and dingier parts of the city as well as schmoozing with the political classes at city and state level.

As she builds her network of sources, she finds that endearing herself to those who can help her is the way to go and finds herself in some sexually charged situations and moral dilemmas.

The storyline, is well thought out and written, as are the characters, who are all relatable, authentic and fit in with the general story. I particularly like the older male characters in the story, with two in particular being prominent in the storyline.

So why not five stars? I really liked this game and I'll play it again when v0.60 is released but for me the dynamic between Jessica - The Mayor and Jessica - Parker could be better thought out. Whilst I want to see Jessica get fondled/groped and harassed by these guys (which she manages to handle well) I don't find it believable that a woman like Jessica would find either man remotely attractive on a purely physical level. For me, for these relationships to be believable, the transactional nature of them needs to be brought out more.

In my approach to the game, I chose to give both men a bit of excitement as a way of gaining their favour and I think a real life Jessica would only do the same if there was a career incentive to do so. I'm not saying she should be a submissive wreck, hell no.,Jess is an assertive woman who knows what she wants. She can want it but let's not pretend that she finds a morbidly obese politician sexy, or a retired and physically withered Newspaper Editor hot, she wouldn't.

Had the devs taken the approach that Jessica was either overtly taking a quid pro quo approach (you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours), or one that was more manipulative and underhanded i.e. faking it to get ahead, I would have enjoyed JOHN even more.

I have been Playing VNs for 10-12 years and this game is highly overrated with the little content it has. Only High quality Renders do not make a game great. The scriptwriting, mechanics, music, scenarios, story, characters, etc must be top notch too. Every Adult game must have enough content in the particular genre its going for it to be judged properly and this doesnt even meet the minimum. In my personal opinion, JOHNs story is basically at act I and i cant give it a rating or even less so my money based on the promise that act II and III will be great when the current content is mediocre at best. There are far more better games both with or without high quality renders that have tons of content to enjoy.

Awesome artwork. The protagonist is more than a dumb blonde beauty and I like that. I know it is hard to create such a game. I hope the creator will not lose his way and motivation like others did ...

Does the game have flaws? Sure, but this is 100% worth your time.

- Very well done female protagonist game
- The graphical quality is absolutely top notch
- Jessica corrupting herself is EXTREMELY hot; and for me the game being hot is the most important factor

I've only played half through the current build on my 1st playthrough but from a mental erotic standpoint this game is way up there. Sure, the graphical smut is just ok' ish, but the setting and the way Jessica is written makes it extremely hot.

Some points for improvement:

- Dev should really give some slides during sexy moments without a text box... it breaks the immersion a bit to press H
- I think it is worth looking at slowing down the pace of the corruption just a bit early on. Some choices or the outcome of those choices seem a bit too slutty/forced taking away from the charm.

Until now I love this game very much , when I read the rating reviews , most of the people agree that : the grapics, images, animasions, art models are very good , So, I love the characters and the storyline.
and for people need more men , I think the ROUTES are optional and you can choose the route you like, and that is the reason I said in the beginning "Until now" because I HATE to be FORCED to do any thing , and if the dev. change that it will be another story.

Jessica O'Neil's Hard News is an excellent game. As long as game doesnt force the character into situations, the game is good. Not sure why there has been a super long pause on updates, but i hope there will be a major content update coming soon.

I'm not one to rate or comment but this game is worth every second of my time I've never seen a game like Jessica has great sex scenes beautiful characters with differences personalities great male characters with variables but I have to say that I really liked it three specific character

i think they are the luckiest to fuck Jessica first but i don't know who will win this gladiator battle lol that's it guys its a great game if i could give 10 stars but unfortunately it's only 5 this game deserves more than that.

and the french trad is perfect is erotic poetry! i want more game like this one.
all that's missing is a bit of music. and there is also a lack of a little other man of basic age (like the husband) because it is either women or young men or many old men.

The graphics in this game is very good, that is what saves it. However, the story feels like a routine with going to and from work, where nothing except a few interviews about unrelated topics happen as it is just a lot of text about some local city's problems. Besides, no real choices are available in the game and for a visual novel it is just a bit too boring.

The writing is good, the mc is attractive, however, none of it is leading anywhere...so we have some 'batman' character looking over the city and a mystery to uncover [I like that!]
But to much fluff...decision making would turn this into a better game and give the player a choice as to what road to travel...

so I'm a little new but I know Jessica News a little while it's one of my favorite games if not number one on my list it has great animations great sexy characters it's hard to even choose which one is the most beautiful among all the characters in the game one What stands out is Rosa for me, she is a character that has to be worked on a lot in the game because she seems to be very interesting in my opinion but I like Jessica a lot too and several others. not to mention the provocations that are very exciting my favorite part is the mayor's I hope the game brings a great scene for us who are fans of the game and I'll leave here a favor for those who are new and don't know much about the game I highly recommend it to me is one of the best female protagonist games on the F95 Zone website

The graphics are nice and the MC is really hot but that's all it has in its favor. Developer is trying to slow play the fact that she's a total slut (which is obvious), the pace of the game is dreadful and the story is generic and painful to read through.

So to be honest I don't really like to criticize or comment on certain things

Good:
The first thing that caught my eye was definitely the graphics
The rendering quality is very good
Some of the shots made me feel like I was watching a movie
As a corruption-themed game
The characters inside are not deliberately shaped to be ugly and disgusting
The female MC is very hot and definitely hits my sweet spot
The theme of newspaper office is very fresh
It also fits the elements of blackmail and corruption
The core plot looks like it should be good

Bad:
I honestly don't know how to screw up the story of a woman in the media industry who is gradually corrupting herself in order to move up the career ladder.
It's been told a million times and it's still a classic.

The beginning of the game is fascinating
But the development team was so reluctant
to let players experience the core plot of the game
The storyline is so slow and boring
It just throws in a lot of lesbian sequences
and having sex with your boring boyfriend in the same scene every day in the same position

You've built up a lot of powerful characters
But you're so reluctant to involve the female MC
In my case
I'm here to play this type of game
I just want to see the blackmail and corruption and cheating(or NTR)
You've created a MC who isn't the kind of woman who can be easily intimidated
This can bring out the essence of the corruption genre

It's like the production team is deliberately delaying the pace of what is obviously a very big story.
This is how you can earn as many subscriptions as possible...

And even if it's based on good graphics
The sex scenes are frankly boring to me
Although the animation frame rate is very smooth
But the plot is boring

This game is really a pity
A good subject matter good graphics
but dragged down by the rhythm of the plot

Because the MC and the theme is too suitable for me
But the slow plot and boring sex scenes is a major drawback
First of all, it should be an erotic game, then the story

As usual Im going to try to speak my minda bout the game in case I return to it in the future. Will try to make it short:

The good:
Visually is quite appealing, is definetly abov average in the render aspect and in the choice of shots. I totally feel that the dev is aware of the limitations of DAZ and al the angles prevent all this flaws from showing. This wway you will never see a explicit porn shot, everything is kept clsoe to porn, but more erotic. That is a plus.
Sex scenes are definetly above average also, and this together with the quality of the renders make a good combination.

The Bad:
Way too supermodel milfy. Even if the girls we in their 20s, the sophisticated look and the overall aspects is the one of supermodels or milf supermodels.
For lesbian there is 1 girl only (maybe a half cause the other one you barely know her, she is more like a plot device, and).
The third one barely has any content (after 3years...)
The above points raise another issue: too many dicks.
I dont like partners given from the begining cause they are usually plot devices, meaning 1 line of character background and a couple of perks. This feels like the case.
I didn't get the point of the story which seems to be a thread taht you follow to find people to fuck. Those options about "getting documents serve any purpose plotwise?

The good aprt of the game is 4 starts,€verything above average, but the bad part below is 2 or 1. The average of good and bad its 3, the rating.
So if you value the good parts, and don't care about the bad ones as much as I do, go for it, the game should be 4 or 5 stars for you. I didn't feel it that way.

ok ... too bad it can't give more than 5 stars, the developer's talent can't be questioned, the game is just perfect. great renders, great story and personally I have to say that the characteristics of each character are perfectly spot on, seriously guys ... this developer is talented.

Renders are great and the cheating scenes are fucking awesome. I have replayed them multiple times.

The pace of update is very very slow. I hope the dev gets to live a long life so that he can finish this game in time.

The render for every female is incredibly sexy; Shani being my personal highlight. My issue with this one is that the story is incredibly dull and even while controlling Jessica, it felt like just going with the flow with no real choices beyond the binary( faithful or full slut mode). All the male prospects are forgettable and formulaic; naive boring boyfriend, old lecher, powerful fat guy. Even the sex isn't too appealing.
Clearly a lot of work has been put into the renders but the overall product is bland.
