Wait, is one of the language options in the configuration menu system based? I just saw a "Portuguese" as a selectable language there and thought it was too disparate of a language for it not to be so.

No. There was someone on Fanbox a while ago that volunteered to help translate the game into Portuguese, so Tukada said that he would let him do it as soon as he finished writing the dialogue for the game.
Is there lots of blank text bubbles for anyone else too? Can't even use google lens to translate.
