First I was only following my previous idea, to make tattoos
subsurface. With the default subsurface, there is allready too much color included for that.
I tried to create a skin, that is softer and easier to colorize. As I meentioned before, the HanmenShader base Skin is ok, if you want that rosy looking skin, but it's not easy to get rid of that teint, the shadow under the eyes and the between eyes and lashes.
The difference is easy to show. The skincolor for both is 90% white. Left is the default result, right side the changed Albedo:
Might be only my personal opinion, but the result is pretty ok:
Breean just got a colored tattoo as subsurface. For Minhs mandala style, I used an underlay, the subsurface to change the tint or make it look like a fresh tattoo and as an extra, a bit of bump to ephasize.
For more details, I worked a bit on nails, blush and some other textures.
Ah,.. and for a first time, I tried the Hanmenshader on clothes ...May be not the best for performance, but it looks good
