There are more than a dozen Full acts (fully animated scenes) with final stages that you can get by fulfilling quests and talking to NPCs.

No lol 'fully animated' is just outright untrue. If you happen to find one of the very few 'scenes' in the game it just swaps between a couple preset animations with dialogue describing what's happening including climax. This game is how many years into development and they haven't even added cum lmao. The dev knows how to build a world but has one of the worst senses of game design that I've ever seen (from both regular game AND porn game perspectives). He could just fucking listen to the years of complaints about a few very specific issues that for relatively little effort would lead to major improvements in the player experience but unfortunately he's got the bad form of autism preventing him from comprehending such a concept.

Personally, I really enjoy the text narration during the sex scenes. It adds a lot that animations fundamentally can't reproduce. I wish more 3D porn games took that direction.

Yeah, I don't think the sex scenes per se are one of the game's shortcomings. It's how the rest of the game (doesn't) function that annoys me. Like I said in an earlier comment, it's been 5+ years of development and the game still feels exactly the same as when I first played it in 2018. And it's not like they added THOUSANDS of characters and sex scenes to make up for the lack of... Everything else really. It's a textbook case of what a lack of clear direction does to a project, it makes every "new" content added to feel irrelevant.

So what’s the best way to make money? I found a shirt but I’ve otherwise been free balling it. Feeling a bit indecent here. Oh yeah, can you actually edit characters after creation at all?

Last I played, you cannot edit characters after the game start, much to my frustration. The only way I found to reliably farm cash was also sorely lacking, being to turn in your catch for the drake things or finding any of the hidden loot caches dotting the lands and trading in the things you don't care to keep. I've been hoping that both of those issues and general navigation would have been solved by now, but sounds like it hasn't.

Is there any rare breed or something special to hunt? So far I've only found a cat with horns in the snowy mountains (bunny island, I don't know the names) that might fall in that category.

There will be soon - Christmas fox - blue/silver fox with frost antlers that glow in the dark. It spawns only in the second half of December and only at night.

Yule, the Christmas fox, is back on the menu.
It didn't spawn yesterday, it does spawn today. So it spawns from Dec 20 till Dec 31.
It is supposed to spawn in the forests at night. It for sure spawns in the wolf forest on Skiia. I haven't tried other locations. So no idea what spawns on Iskai island.
There are three color variants now, the black front is new.

However, there are two bugs.
1. Antlers are not shown in sex scenes if NPC clothing is set to Disabled in the Options->gameplay menu.
2. New bug - sometimes Yule prey spawns without antlers in it's inventory (accessible only when prey is a crew). It still has antlers on it's head until you reload saved game, but these antlers are not shown in sex scenes even when you don't have it disabled by bug #1. In that case just leave/release that prey and catch a new one. You can also take antlers off recruited prey and place it on the head of your favorite prey (Yule or not).

For the rifle you gotta locate the town center, then If I recall correctly the building directly South (or North, whichever is open that isn't the Inn) should house two NPCs, the NPC on the second floor gives you the rifle.

As for money, simply capture then release animals and you'll earn a type of currency you cannot use, one night you might discover a way of exchanging your unusable currency to a more useful one...

and the wolf forest is where exactly? is it marked at all?
edit, nvm was able to find them in the amber woods

Yeah, there are areas where it is more likely to find foxes, I know that the forest bettween the sawmill/Lumberjack's house and town usually spawns cats. The specific as to what places spawn what species I don't know. Also watch out as the game has vast expanses of land with no spawns bettween areas that do... I reccomend you search the area I mentioned before, the abandoned shack that you should be able to see from the map and the areas around the autumn forest (Implying you don't mind doing the walk) there is apparently different islands too where specific species spawn more often, but never could figure out how to sail to them.

Loot chests and boxes. Find chest map somewhere in this thread to locate chests easier.
Sell that stuff to merchants in the town.
Sell only to merchants you had sex with, otherwise they pay you little price.
Lumbermill shack is on the far edge of the forest to the west of town.
