It should be the first shelf on the left after entering the garage. If it's not there, you are playing an older version, or your story is bugged. Try starting a new game and see if the key is there.

according to the eek forums, the custom story creator for 0.8.8 is now out. hopefully we get people porting their old stories to the new version soon, or just making new stories entirely.

Nobody shares saves for this game man, you would need a save for each character ending. (Which would also only work for the current version.)
The game isn't THAT hard anyway. The full guide is posted.

If you can find someone willing to share any of their saves, go for it. But like I said, if the save isn't for the current version it's likely to be bugged. You miss most of the interesting pieces of the stories by using someone's save anyway. If you want to pointlessly bang the characters there is console commands for that. Also in the guide.

You say free look, then you say godmode... not too sure what you're getting at. I assume that what you mean is a noclip or fly mode, or even a free camera mode. Sadly I do not think there is such a command.

I've been digging around and lurking on HP threads for some time, I have never seen the mention of a noclip / fly mode here or there. So you're welcome to do some research for yourself, and definitely post what you find!
so, 0.8.7 only 1GB size. why 0.8.8 4GB size? is it the update content really that big or what?Look at the page 82

Where did you find a 1Gb copy? I'd be inclined to say it's either super compressed, or it's not actually House Party at all. The most major update in 0.8.8 was the new Valentine story.

Well, theoretically you can compress data at some crazy ratios, I guess 4:1 isn't too far our of the realm of possibility.
Right clicking on the few versions of HP I still have on my PC and selecting properties I can tell you they are 4Gb.
Here is HP 0.8.8: 4.76 GB (5,116,968,587 bytes)
Here is HP 0.8.7: 4.90 GB (5,269,833,859 bytes)
Here is HP 0.8.3: 4.27 GB (4,595,381,030 bytes)
Okay, OP have game's file download link and mod. so, what is the mod do? some kind of cheat?

The only mods for HP are custom stories, sadly the extra content available from the community is very limited. Not much you can do with the base game just yet, granted it's still all subject to change. That's more or less why we haven't seen any actual mods come to the surface, the next update can break things.
i think they're trying to get slumber party at madison's up to standards, and it was barely even ready for an alpha release when we last saw it. also, they're still putting their site back together. but this is only my speculation.Still no 0.8.9 fuck
