"Proof of Life" is what N_Taii calls a weekly status report on Patreon, he releases one on every Monday where he talks about stuff like what he's been working on for the last 7 days and the things that are still left to do before he can release the new Update. Regular stuff that you'd expect from a status update, you get the picture.

I said that this was the most heartbreaking thing i ever read because of the first sentence of the image that i attached to my post, this one:


The part where N_Taii says: "So, the more i work, the farther the finish line looks^^", means that he won't be able to release Update13 when he originally thought he could because there's more work than what he anticipated. The "heartbreaking" part that i was talking about is that now i have to wait more until i can play the new Update.

If you wonder why literally noone agrees with your take and a good half don't even get what you're talking about, here's what you said in a nutshell.

NTR is an essential part, not some special form of corruption.

The NTR figure in such games is the male mc himself.

And that the ntr is an essential part of the corruption when we talked about sex.
Rather, we are talking about a woman who becomes more slutty because of a man's influence.

There can be corruption with ntr: A netori game of mc corrupting schoolgirls. The girls are already in relationships, maybe some boyfriends are shown, others only mentioned. Doesn't matter.

To be fair we're going into week six since update 12. Usually we either have the new update or will have it shortly by this point. We're 7-12 days from that happening and we ran out of things to talk about three weeks ago.

Proof Of Life #221: Rough ETA On Next Update

Hello everyone, how's it going today/toafternoon/tonight? I hope all's well and you're in a good mood, for your sake and mine^^

I'll keep this PoL relatively short, because I don't have a whole lot to say and I want to go back to work ASAP^^

So first of all, I want to say that the new update won't be out this week. The story's almost a wrap, but I still have two scenes to make, and those tend to take a good amount of time until they're finished because of how technical they can be with the mix of sounds, sprites, camera angles, etc..., and I also usually write a lot more slowly when developing a sex scene because the dialogues and descriptions don't come out as naturally as when I'm doing the story.

As for the ETA, I'd say somewhere next week, not 100% sure when. As I said above, the amount of work and time needed to make a single scene tend to depend on many factors, and I'm not sure how long it'll take for the artists to finish the animations needed.

Lastly, I wanted to apologize for taking so long to finish this update. I'm not working less, or slower, and I'm not busy with something else, I just completely misjudged the time it might take to complete it. Heck, I just counted all the new maps, and there are exactly 19 of them. I know you're not used to wait this long (today's screenshot has been chosen specifically because it probably reflects your feelings), and I'm sorry about that.

So, hum, somewhere between the 14th and 19th of this month would be my best bet for Update 13's release.

It's tough out here when you're only following like 4 games and one gets abandoned last minute by the dev while another one is this barely known game called BeingADIK that only gets updated annually...for which i'm thankful every day...

To be fair we're going into week six since update 12.

We're in week seven as of last sunday, Update12 was released on the 24th of March...not that i'm counting or anything.

Usually we either have the new update or will have it shortly by this point. We're 7-12 days from that happening

I miss the good old days when there was a new Update coming out every 35 days, or in worst case scenario every 5 weeks, although in this case i kinda prefer this longer wait instead of seeing the quest be divided into 2 separate Updates. Not getting freeroam events, new portraits, mini stories or a conclusion to the quest itself all because the Update ends in a place where the city is not accessible is not exacly ideal.

I'm curious as to how long the Update itself is gonna be compared to previous ones because we're gonna be in the ballpark of 8 weeks by the time it's ready and the only other Update that i can think of that had this much development time was Update8, the last Update N_Taii released before moving to Japan in August. I could definitely tell that Update8 was longer than an average Update but N_Taii didn't make 19 new maps for Update8 and i'm pretty sure that it didn't have 5 scenes either, unlike Update13.
