First off, I'd like to congratulate you, Runey, for being without a doubt the most accessible game developer, already !

I've never seen one, up to date, that was so mindful and attentive to player's thoughts and comments as that you have shown on this forum up 'till now; how very nice of you !

I liked your game, but I believe that you should take your time with character development and story progression. If you look around and consider, a good many of the most successful and popular games out there are the ones where intercourse is delayed, in favor of character depth and the gradual telling of a good story.

A lot has been said about Lin, and I must add my voice along with those that have been absolutely ''enchanted'' (pun intended !) with her character, and would wish that no harm should befall her.

Many are thinking, as I am, that to have her suffer BDSM-like treatment does not suit this so lovely and endearing of-a-character's persona, such as you yourself had established her to be as her foundation as depicted at the beginning of the story.

We would be expecting a different fate for such a charming character.

Since you are already acquainted with Jikei and Nocht's work, one type of character who would be better suited, as an example, for BDSM would be Velle; now there's an instance where the persona matches the type !

Not pretty, sweet, little old (!) Lin...

But I like your initiative, Runey !

P.S. Perhaps a more probable backdrop for our dear Elf friend would be that, since there aren't hordes of them out on the streets, the few of them that there are have had, for the most part, to have lived a life of recluse. Being marginal themselves, they probably would have felt better accepted hanging around with the likes of the Gypsies and the Roms.

Elvs stem from Celtic mythology, do they not ? Perhaps, with the advent of modernity, they left Ireland to join these groups.

It was really cute to see Lin offer a flower to the MC; if she were to be shown demonstrating further such cultural gestures, it would add to her depth as a character.

I would suggest to research or dwell on this further, Runey.

I think I'll be adding more events in the v0.1 area of the game (meaning before the current end of the game) to liven more things out. Ideas are the only bottlenecks.

Lin's main character trait, is obedience. She's also a masochist, but that hasn't been explored much yet. Because she's a slave, she's use to ropes, and not so nice behavior. That kind of lifestyle, to her, almost feels like home. So she doesn't see bondage as suffering, mean, or anything like that. She sees it as normal. And as a fan of BDSM, I wanted to include it.

I wasn't sure if more story would be good, or bad. I wasn't sure if it would bore people and turn them away, or entice them to keep playing. From the feedback I've gotten so far, people want more story. And as a DM for D&D, I've got plenty of experience generating lore and story for each character.

What are you referring to when you say "Gypsies and Roms"? I'm not familiar with those fantasy creatures. But I'm all for adding fantasy creatures, that look human.

Meditation, possibly in the nude in yoga poses to center the spirit
Anointing the body with special oils, possibly applied by a close friend
Honing the body in the holy carnal arts (masturbating)
Practicing the elven fertility dances traditionally danced at the solstace festivals.

if ideas are a bottleneck, I'll offer a few scenes that I would like to see and that I think would fit well.

-on a wednesday, since Lin is off Ashley ends up doing the laundry. She mistakenly washes all of the other girls' clothes while they're in the sauna, leaving them with nothing to wear until their clothes have dried off.
-going out somewhere with maria and she decides to wear nothing but body paint resembling clothes(seems like something she'd do)
-one wednesday Ellen gets fed up with Lin's constant days off and as punishment, she goes to Lin's room and forces her to repaint the outer walls of the hotel immediately, not giving her a chance to change out of her leafy outfit. Then maybe it gets snagged on a bush or something and she's forced to finish painting naked, in the view of everyone passing by the building
-Maria gets a job at a strip club and wants you to come on the first day she's working. Maybe later another girl accidentally blows all their money and needs some extra cash, and Maria tricks them into working as a stripper for a day.

Glad you like them, I had fun coming up with them. Here are a few more ideas.

-the hotel's AC ends up breaking on an especially hot day, and the girls end up going about their business in just t-shirts and panties. Maybe later they all decide to take a cold shower together to cool off and you can go and peep on them.
-Maria plans a trip to the pool for everyone, but when they arrive, the other girls find that she swapped their swimsuits with some that she bought for them. After swimming for a bit they realize that the swimsuits are dissolving, hilarity ensues.
-Kali mentions she's planning a gaming convention during dinner, with her main reason being that she thinks she can win the cosplay contest which has a huge cash prize. Once the other girls hear how much the prize is, some or all of them also sign up, and end up going on stage in super skimpy and likely-to-slip-off outfits.
-Maybe an option to steal a character's clothes when we peek on them in the shower, so they're forced to run after you in just a towel(or naked)? The scene where you steal Kali's bikini while she's in the sauna was one of my favourite scenes in the entire game, so I'd love to see more stuff similar to that, where you pull sexy pranks on the girls.

BTW do you plan on having magic in the game at all? With Lin being an elf and all, if she had access to magic, that would open up all kinds of possibilities. Maybe elves need to be sexually stimulated to get magic energy, so she didn't realize she had the ability to cast spells till after we have sex with her. That would help keep her storyline consistent and explain why she didn't know she had magic abilities until later in the plot, if you want to take her character in that direction.

I'm a bit confused, when you went in to Lin's room on Wednesday, it crashed? What do you mean when she was horny in the kitchen? With an egg vibe?

Yes. When I visited (on Wed?), if she had on the leaf outfit, as soon as my cursor swept over her image, the game crashed.

I don't think I ever used the egg vibe. But late in the game, I would go in the kitchen and she'd be standing with her legs clenched together, and once again, if I let my cursor go over the image, the game crashed.

A story inconsistency and a game bug.

In Ashley's movie, as twin babies bro 1 (S) is kept and bro 2 (H) is sold, then adopted by poor farmers. One two skip a few, bro S stabs bro H, at which bro H states his parents (his adopted parents mind you) told him they sold his brother. Also, they did not tell each other their names, and they were named after being separated, so that would have been impossible for bro H to know. I'm assuming they're fraternal twins, because unless they were wearing masks/full helmets, identical twins would... well duh. May want to elaborate on those.

At Lin's slip-'n-fall scene, after helping her up and receiving the F point, I ended up rolling back to just after helping her up (for what I can't remember), then continuing the dialogue forward, which got me yet another point. Was able to repeat again for another, going from the intended 7 F to 9 F. I'm going to assume this could be repeated as many times as the player wants.

Having not yet given Kali's package to her, the front door button remains onscreen and usable until you do.

Sounds like your install might be corrupt. I would try reinstalling the game. Also, it probably could use better error handling.

I think that movie plot was intentionally kept confusing/nonsensical because the MC is actually looking up her shorts and not paying attention to the movie. He is completely lost because all he was interested in was perving on his new tenant.

I love her, okay yeah the rest of the game is also really good , nice mix of text and pictures, character design is great, especially ashleys , you good all the good traits ( especially yandere we need more yandere in games).

Personally I don't have any advice I really like this game and I think you will make something great about this, what people say about more story , don't let story block your creativity too much. John Carmack said :" Story in a video game is like story in porn, it's expected to be there but it's not that important ". What I try to say a bad /cringeworthy story can ruin a game by a lot , but I doubt most of the people here read Hemingway. You don't need to write the greates story of all time so no pressure.

Again no real advice or wishes (maybe an Ashley marriage event) exept best of luck for future releases can hardly wait.

The movie is just some nonsense I wrote up.

Rolling back isn't a feature in the game, it's a feature in the Engine, so sometimes it can be buggy. Save scumming is the least buggy way to go around this, but rolling back is much more fast. To not experience bugs when rolling back, roll back to before a conversation, not in to one. It's much more safe to do it this way.

Ellen probably wont be a fully fleshed out character, but there are plans for sex scenes, and story with her.

Great great game, cute girls and nice pace. But after reading some of the comments I feel like saying something.

I love a game with good character development and slow build up to the sex scenes, but this doesn't mean every game should be like that and not every game needs to be like that. It's possible to make a good game where you just go around fucking everything with a face. Yes, there are some pretty terrible ones out there, but this doesn't look to be one of them. You were able to create a history here and gave the characters unique personalities with just a few lines of dialogue and a lot of lewd scenes. Great job.

You can add some quests later on to add more depth to the characters, or an extra event or two if you want to slow the pace, but in my opinion the pacing is great as it is.

I also don't think a buildup to Ashley's yandere outburst is needed, from the get go you can tell she's a maniac and unstable little girl, pulling a knife was not a surprise at all and just gave me one more reason to try to impregnate her and every other girl that I can. Fun, fun, fun.

And it seems to me that everybody wants a piece of Lin for themselves, she's that great, but a tip here a tip there and she'll become Frankenstein... please don't listen too much about her, you're doing great.

Pacing is something that is being fixed as we speak, there'll be a couple events added to the v0.1 time span. Three with Lin, one of which explains Ellen's backstory, the other two involve Lin's Wednesday events, and one with Ashley, where she transitions in to crazy mode. That may be all the events added in the v0.1 time span. But things may change.

Lin's story and personality is set in stone, she won't be changed in to an innocent elf girl, she's obedient, and masochistic. However, the new robot maid being added in v0.2 is primarily Shy, and Innocent. So that should please a lot of people. (Not to mention she's big breasted, with options to have her have even bigger breasts, or smaller ones.)
