Different people have differing views of piracy. The japanese are even worse when it comes to piracy. They have no conception of it helping them in any form. Wouldn't know tons of japanese media/series if I didn't see it via anime streaming websites or manga websites. That's why the manga and anime industry got so popular in the west, was thanks in a huge part to piracy, so it's kind of ironic.

It's simple, why are you here and not on his discord if you liked the demo?
This is because you looked first for pirate option and had no intention of paying for it.
Many people are like that. Also his friend wasn't get paid at all he was doing it for free
for his friend and his community. And he got betrayed not 1 time not 2 time but 3 times.
Even after countless warnings and this is the outcome.

Yes, the same thing happened to me with anime/manga XD. Literally thanks to "piracy" I have seen many series, and many of them I have finished buy the collection or bought many other things for having seen. But it is true that it is as you say, everyone has their point of view.

I'm not in his discord for one simple reason, and that is that I don't support games that I don't know if they will continue. There have already been many that I have seen that are abandoned after a few versions.

Of course I have also seen others that continue and I liked them, and I have ended up supporting them on Patreon without a problem.

But, removing things from the game, I only see that those who are harmed are those who support it on Patreon, and I don't like that and so I have ended up deciding not to support it yet.

People who don't want to pay for it will continue not to do so, whether it's pirated or not, but for people who support the patreon, removing content can be a reason to abandon it.

But as I said, it's my point of view. I have already seen some games published here that the developer went on the forum that had made their game pirated to say that thanks to that they had an increase in income.

I'm not saying that will be the case, but by making a post to say that because of piracy you are going to punish your patreon, the only thing I think it does is give people more reason to not support it.

You know, I understand hating piracy, especially if it's YOUR things that were pirated. And even more so if it constantly happens and you can't get it to stop no matter what you do.


But what I don't understand is this:

His friend made some art for stuff in the game for free just to help out or something, then requested it to be removed way down the line, in the same post the author makes it sound like his friend just simply wanted it removed for reasons, then two seconds later makes it seem like he wanted it removed BECAUSE it was pirated. At least that's the message I get from that post with the whole "there's only one person to blame..." thing.

He also said he has absolutely no intentions of returning the content in a future update which is kinda... bad? A better phrase would be to say it's bad practice. As it just makes the game worse in a way, removing content is almost always bad unless everyone collectively hated what was removed. Yeah his friend wanted the ART removed but not the CONTENT WITH the art (or maybe they did? I wouldn't know.), so why not just remake the art, or better yet, REPLACE IT with your own UNIQUE stuff? That way the content stays in and just looks different, everyone on Patreon's happy because only the art changed, AND his friend would (probably) be happy too as his art was still removed. All he'd have to do is just ask his friend first before doing that and act accordingly to their response.


In the end, it isn't my game. So he can do whatever he wants with it. Yet at the same time, if he's aiming for profit, he should do what makes the most people happy to keep supporting him. And if piracy bothers him THAT much, then resort to more extreme methods. (just no "anti-piracy" viruses cause I'm pretty sure most of that's illegal)
Anyways it's time for me to return to the shadows now.

after playing this for a good while, i find the game very fun along with the combat system though there are some things i would like ask.

the random assassin encounter i couldnt figure out how that triggered during one of my test runs and i notice some of girls dont have all the pics unlocked (for example the doctor that appears has 10 but you can only get 7) which only means not were added as of the current version but thats fine unless i missed something within the game like the casino which had 6 of the 7 pics but other than that i love this game.

on a final note is there a purpose to Oishi the ronin beside bringing her back to the shrine and unlocking her cards

It's a good game but the Ai art looks very rushed. Legit could fix the bad hands and feet if he uses the stuff he already has and inserts them in the Ai that he's using to clean it up and make it look better.

Messed up the eye color but It was only the first try. Would love to help the guy a bit with what he's using but my PC ain't doing too good right now. If I keep doing it it'll get better but I want to talk about the game more. The quiz is literally annoying. I know you want to set up lore but 20 questions that sometimes repeat is harsh.

The card system is nice but it feels like it weights the game down a tad...bad pun haha. I either search for breast slam or that height steal card and stomp card if I'm bigger by a good amount or I just lvl up the hero till it does enough damage to win but it takes a while. Its better than copy and pasting standard rpg maker combo though.

It's criminal I can't attack someone more than once. They get out of control sometimes and ruin what I was going for. It makes it so annoying to face the queen because I have to completely defeat the 3 knights and big booba knight spammer multiple times.

New game plus wouldn't been great to have, letting me keep the cards I got before but now I'm playing as another girl. A story mode with pre-made fights would be great here. A free mode letting you use any girl you want or face would let people do exactly what they want.

Overall I like this game and want to support the guy but I've gotten burned with so many projects before and I don't want it to happen again. As for the piracy thing well it's gonna happen but he can do things to avoid that. Release a free version that's behind the current build and release them somewhat fast. This won't stop people who see 1.00 and see there's version 1.01 with a minimal bug fix from asking for it though.

I'm just hoping the guy doesn't drop the game or something because it got on here since it was going to happen at some time.

He's since made a newer version of the game with newer a.i. images. Another artist that's his friend that's another one of the games uploaded here (only the free public version), didn't want his art in the game anymore after it got leaked. So he had to get rid of some content, and change the images.

Aah that makes sense or mostly because leaking art is a strange reason to say you want it removed from something. Kinda feel bad about that part if that person did get grief or something from this.

For the guy asking about the Arianna vip lady ending it's probably only gonna work with the Queen gone. Since it's not triggering for anything it's probably that and the card shop girl has some pics missing too so I'm guessing the queen has to leave to get those pics/ ending.

There's no ending with Arianna at all, I got all the endings for this older version. It's the pink haired one as an ending, and some other ones.

It's not so much the art that got leaked but the game it self. The guy didn't want his art in the game anymore since this version on this website got leaked. Like I said since then he's changed the art, and gotten rid of some content that was both made by the same guy for said reason. I only know about the art change thing because he recently changed the demo to reflect this stuff.

Yeah I kinda figured that out from my second run and figuring out that I was wasting my time. Should've just keep the art in the game and let you swap between them. Well hopefully it doesn't get worse.

pink haired one?, theres a few of them in the game but if its Ivelise then i already have her pics though im missing the one next to that along with the main characters since some dont have all of their pics, as for locations i have 27/30 so i dont know if theres other hidden areas that i might have missed
