It's a low budget indie game, what did you expect? If it's "corrupted/spoilt" you won't even hear the VA
I don't think they can use the term since キネティックノベル is a brand in JP by Visual Arts.

There is something wrong with the save games in the .zip file. Delete the two .sav files and it works fine.

I finally played the game itself and it was very good.
The worldbuilding is on spot. I was expecting we would stay in the appartment with only a final trip after succeeding the exam but there was some fresh air from time to time and it was welcome.
The two protagonists were cute. Even Atsushi became lovely after being dull for a long time.
The story, though common, was well brought.
The artistical part was awesome. The images drawn by Wasp were very appealing. The censorship wasn't a bother. The music was stirring. The sounds were on point. The voice actor was good and I feel like I heard him somewhere (it was similar to Conrad from Kyou Kara Maou!).
The flow of the story is good. The evolution of the characters feels realistic, particularly Ryota (the shy guy who keeps everything to himself afraid of hurting others that opens up thanks to someone cheerful). The ending was beautiful. The first blowjob came too early. But what put me out a little were the forced sex scenes.

I did that but then it loads only so far as to give me a black screen and a menu button that doesn't do anything, and doesn't go any further. Do i need to do anything else?

Probably via WINE or "PlayOnMac" (which is kind of a more graphical UI to manage WINE-settings and WINE-Tricks), but either one takes a "bit" of space. Also, I'm not sure about the new ARM-based, Silicon-Macs (M1 and M2 Series) - and how this works in connection with these.
I only have an old Intel-based MacBook from 2009, which I use to watch series, movies in bed sometimes and think of putting Linux on it to make it a little safer. But I have tried to play Windows-Games via PlayOnMac on it with decent success.
And the Game runs perfectly fine on Linux via WINE/Lutris there. So, if WINE and Apple's x86-Emulator work together, that shouldn't be a problem, methinks...
