BTW, the stuff you have assigning various values in the intro label - if you can stick to default and define for all the initial setup stuff you are in a far better positions.
define - using the renpy script method lets the linter do more checks, and also makes the value "static" so it become an error to try to modify.
default - this has great benefit once you start doing multiuple releases over time. Anything you add using "default" will use the new value if and only if the variable does not already have a value in the user's save game. This allows seamless upgrades and "ret-conn" of previous episodes without breaking save compatibility. There's a good section on this in the docs, recommend you check it out.
