I need someone to explain to me how the high bit-rate Ada trapped video, a 7 minute long video, can take up 7.5 gigs. What the fuck was fatcat thinking, is he mixing in a thousand different channels of measured atmospheric interference at a sample rate of 5 mbps?

It's actually not that unusual if you export raw in a high resolution. Especially since it's both high resolution and high framerate. That's a lot of data! That's why you would encode it afterwards to reduce the size drastically while retaining the quality.
