VN - Ren'Py - Abandoned - Family Matters [Ep. 1-10] [Perv2k16]

The art looks great, and the women are drop dead gorgeous, but the gameplay is hampered by odd mechanics and inconsistent characters.

There are a couple of scenes where you have to click a certain part of the screen to progress, and it's not really obvious where you are expected to click. There's a scene where you have to type a password, but the password isn't given. The password is implied to be a company name, but it's actually the company initials (CW). I only figured that out after looking it up online, and people in the comments section are still having trouble with it to this day.

It isn't clear what the main plot of the game is yet, so there isn't much to say about that yet. You work for a mysterious organization, deliver a mysterious suitcase that contains a mysterious item. It's all rather vague at this point.

The main character has multiple dialogue options in the first part of the game, which is great because players can shape their characters. Unfortunately, these choices are far fewer in the latest chapter. The game has lost a lot of it's appeal now that I don't have any significant control over the main character.

I really liked the game at first, but these last updates have been disappointing. I still think the game has a ton of potential, and could be great with only a few minor changes.

The new update (v1.7) removed all hope I had for this game.

A great start, reminds me of Depraved Awakening in plot/themes/characters and sex scenes.
I love the characters so far, especially Vicky and Scarlett who are the perfect mix of slut/submissive/perfect girlfriend.
This game has lots of lovely dirty talk.

I see a lot of potential in this game and I eagerly await its next update.

All the girls are gorgeous, the story is interesting for now, I like the mystery of deciding to confess to Vicky or not.
The narration is great (not too boring and not tot concise).
The only donwside (and it's a very small downside) is the presence of those single choices (especially in the dialogue with Vicky after the police questioning). I don't get their purpose other than breaking the immersion.
I don't know if there are multiple endings and how much certain choices affect the game, but a walkthrough would be great.

The rating of 'Poor' is based on the overall gameplay experience. You see, while the graphics and renders are pretty good, these are massively undermined by the poor writing (mild but constant Engrish), poor choices over interface interaction (in several scenes you end up randomly clicking all over the screen to find invisible hot-points that add NOTHING to the experience or pace of the story, just because the dev has seen clickables in other games and wanted to include them, but without context, design or purpose. The game also requires extra clicks to transition scenes, making it just constantly annoying. It's like the guy has shares in Logitech and wants to wear out the lifespan of your mouse faster without caring that it makes the gameplay experience very poor indeed. Some of the minigames can thankfully be skipped - and trust me, you'll want to because there's no pleasure or point to the minigames which are largely "guess randomly where to click next" disasters.

The game could have some serious potential, but to reach it there needs to be a major change in focus. For the interface to be this clunky and unpolished after 6 episodes just tells you the dev doesn't care much for either quality of his product, or the level of experience provided.

According the patreon of the dev, "realism and life-like situations is a feature of the game. I will try to stick with it as much as possible." Great premise, true?

Well then, the game starts, and the main feminine character so far, the angel-like teenager sister results to be a lesbian with uterine rage that tries to fuck the girlfriend of her own brother in a dressing room of a shop after knowing her for mere minutes. And then, appears the girlfriend of the sister... that is even a bigger whore!!!

The initial premise is good: a young guy into a criminal organization trying to keep this part of his life in secret in order of keeping his family and friends safe, and at the same time, trying to live a normal life... But the game pretty soon becomes a generic soulless stupidity.

3D renders are OK (except the ridiculous crack whore makeup of the girlfriend of the lesbian sister ); not great since the characters look to generic, but OK. As well as the game mechanics (except the minigames of looking for something hidden to click into the scenes, that are annoying, as 90% of minigames in porn or erotic games). Most of the characters are OK too. The escort girl and the lady next door are pretty much generic, but are not specially bad characters compared with the ones of other games. But the character of the sister and her girlfriend are killing the game. Too lesbian, too slut and too brat the both of them, even in a porn game, to bond with. Specially in a game in which "realism and life-like situations is a feature". Yes, a feature in a psychiatric sanatorium for the cure of nymphomania in teenagers

I really enjoyed the overarching plot and twists in this game, as it encompasses all the classic elements of a good story. Although the standalone routes weren’t by any means remarkable, they were great at building suspense and a sense of urgency to figure out the pieces of the puzzle in order to solve the mystery. The universe of this games grows increasingly more complex and interesting the further you delve into the storyline. This demonstrates solid world-building and good storyline pacing by the writers.

Positives: Interesting story (being a criminal is a bit different in a good way), good renders and beautiful models. Also great that it's fast paced and no need to grind in order to advance the story line or get to the sexy parts. From what I've seen, the character build seems interesting.

Negatives: Language needs an overhaul, both grammer and spelling. Also, the progress with the sister is perhaps a bit fast? Finally, sex scenes within dream sequences are, imho, a waste of sex scenes that could be better applied as part of the actual game. The point of the game is to get the girl, not dream about getting the girl, right?

Hopes for the future: That choices matter in the sense that they (at least sometimes) create alternative outcommes, not just rewards for choosing "right" and punishment for choosing "wrong".

Replayed.
The most exciting situation hampered by the phone? It could have been at least after the confrontation. Where Mc would still have no idea then the phone. This point is disappointing.
Again, the game that challenges your curiosity. Another brilliant piece of its kind. The story really absorbed me and the continuity of the scenes is great. 10/10. There is nothing I can say. Tension, plot, and especially temptation where the player can go according to his taste. What more to expect from the game. More is not done, everything is here and elaborately processed.
The game is just exciting. Knuckle down to developer.

My views so far.

First of, the story excluding the adult content is very compelling and keeps you on the edge. Loved it.

The models are beautifully rendered and very pretty.
Loved the characters we have met so far. Chemistry feels real and good.

There was one instance where the sister was maybe a bit more aggressive then I though she would be. But maybe that is her personality.

In the last encounter with Nicole was a bit out of character for the MC in my opinion. It's barely noticeable and id not change my emergence for the game.

Downgraded to four stars. The last few updates for me is changing some of the character's personalities. It's not bad yet, but the characters is a bit inconsistent for me. The sister being my biggest worry, Still like the game, still look forward to new updates, but it's not a masterpiece.

It really is a great game, the characters are very beautiful (especially the neighbor) and well rendered , the dialogues are very good, the story so far is wonderful and I am looking forward to the new updates

Wow a really good game so far! I like porn games where you are confronted with story content beyond the usual "seduce and corrupt" stuff. Surely there are games that have tried this and failed. You just have to be able to construct a good story, which has a believable quality and doesn't only refer to pornography.
I have great respect for that, especially if you are not a professional author. Games like this or "Acting Lessons" (to name just a few) show that it can succeed.
Also the models are simply great. Great art ! I also like their personalities very much. Vicky is my favorite, haha
I don't know she reminds me a bit of "Kira" (I think that's her name) from Big Brother. But maybe it's just me.
Anyway, well done, great game !

As of update 0.5 here's my thoughts:

Pros:
- Nice renders higly detailed compared to other games
- Gorgeous characters
- Interesting story
- Interactive scenes
- Neat seks scenes

Cons:
- No bg music,it doesnt really bother me though but there are some sound effects
- The UI is a bit to bright
- A few grammar mistakes and the writing isnt the best it needs some rework
- You have to click more than once to make the hole text appear which can get annoying

Overall its a nice game but i'd suggest to wait for more content to be released to try it though since its a bit short.

Really good game so far, just finished the 0.5 version. First of all, fantastic looking girls, all the women are really nicely created and done, beautiful, sexy, atractive. Graphics overall is on par with the girls, really good renders.

Regarding the story, is something somewhat fresh, even though it has incest, its different from all the other 95% incest games out there; it also has some "action" sequences which are also a breath of fresh air.

Overall its a 5star game for me, it has lots of atmosphere and adding the gorgeous ladies and graphics, makes it one of the best for me.

This game has a great story line and keeps improving. The artwork is really awesome, one of the best I've seen out there. the only negative is that there could be more decision points and interactions.

Excelent game. I wonder how it doesn't get the attention it deserves, there are many shitty games the earns much more public. Anyway, the art is just incredible, the models are gorgeous (it's impossible to say who is the best). About the story, i like the mob theme so i hope the dev continue this great work. This game is excellent and deserves much more attention than it's receiving. The writing here is top notch, professional, and original. And it's even more surprising how much that shines through given the numerous translation errors.

You play as a criminal who's little sister moves in at an inopportune moment and starts getting drawn into your life of crime despite your best efforts to keep her safe. You're dealing with who you can trust on the streets, and a little sister who clearly wants more of you at home. This is a noir thriller through and through.

For the most part, the characters all feel real and human, with some intense moments of characterization, such as your midnight confession to your "sleeping" sister, or your prostitute "girlfriend" talking about human nature.

The renders are probably the weakest part of the game, which is probably it's not getting enough attention. They're fine, honestly, although I've seen these character models before. What really impresses me is the intentional and cinematic choice of color palette. This game is blue and black. It's noir as all fuck.

If I were to offer some criticism, I'd say that the game's character moments and intensity could have been improved with a little bit of music. There are sound effects in this game, so it's not like they couldn't have gone that one extra step and added music which would have helped further flesh out the experience. Beyond that, I have some issues with the little sister character who seems like she's just too much of a slut. That sounds like a stupid criticism in a porn game, but with the other characters being made so three dimensional it really jumps out how quickly she's ready to jump into bed with everyone, including her own brother. Very little explains her behavior beyond daddy issues, so it would be nice if we could get some more characterization on her. Hopefully, that's coming in further updates.

All and all this is probably my new favorite game on this site. I'm honestly sad I managed to accidentally avoid it for three months! If you're like me and writing and characters matter more than anything else in your porn game, this might just be your best choice.

There really isn't much redeemable content with this game.

The only thing that have some value to it is the somewhat submersive story. Even that loses it's affect when you jump from Hscene to Hscene with only a little story in between.

I no longer consider having good graphics and animation as anything more than average so that would score a 3 and this does have that but so do 90% of the games coming out now.

Starting out with a long Hscene is only a money grab in my opinion and the Hscene near the end of the latest update really doesn't add a thing to it. As a matter of fact it really doesn't make much sense even as a dream at all. You have no idea how he got from the warehouse to his apartment and no idea why Vicky would have been with him. Furthermore why would he dream about his sister being involved knowing she is a lesbian. I can understand him dreaming about Vicky. Also another theme that the MC tries to keep making it seem like he is making moral decisions is another overused theme. Who cares.

The cliffhanger is a good one but it really doesn't compel me to see another update although I probably will to see if the dev can flesh out the story.

The last thing that concerns me is that the game file is already over a gig and doesn't have enough content to be that large. Maybe it's using resolution that is too high or dev doesn't have good compression software but it is something that needs to be addressed.

I rated it 2 because the story has some potential. Nothing else sets it apart from most of the new games.

I liked this alot eventhough it haven't got much content yet. I just hope it won't be abandoned before completion. Storywise I think it is going on the right direction, I hope when the MC's story progress more we could understand why he chose that life and maybe branch off into many possible scenarios which will affect on how his story would end. The sister seems conflicted (lesbian or straight), but I also hope that the MC can mold her towards what we(players) want via interactions.

Really liked the game, it contains some really sexy models and renders and has quite a decent storyline that promises to keep the player hooked as it builds up. The fappable content is okay at this point of the story but would definitely be looking forward to seeing some more.

One or two of the cons that I could find is that we need to click twice or thrice for the same text dialogue so that is sometimes irritating. The minigames could have been irritating if compulsory but it seems the developer has added option to skip it after seeing people complain.

All in all, I am really looking forward to the next update. Hopefully the developer keeps developing this because it has got great potential.
