Like Arousal said: The 35 tier if you want instant access.
That's so fucking pretentious to have THIRTY-FIVE fucking tiers of one Patreon.

I assume the tiers go up substantially? I don't understand there being this many tiers if it didn't... And I wouldn't understand that many tiers if it did. This isn't some backer board game, or other type of D&D related type content.

There isn't 35 tiers. There's 9 tiers total, one of which is 35$ which is what they were refering to. That's the one that gets you instant access

You should also explain what "instant access" means just incase someone doesn't understand what it means.

You need to donate an ACCUMULATED amount of $36+ in order to get serial.
So either $4 x per month for 9 months(then get serial after) OR 1 month Laborer and 1 month of Brawler Tier($37).
I think after the first month and realizing I needed to pay more I bought a min tier year sub upfront.

$4 Passerby, $8 Onlooker, $12 Brawler, $16 Student, $25 Laborer, $35 Clerk, $50 Elite, $95 Capitalist, $295 Aristocrat.

Currently there are 14,523 paid members, so at minimum ~$4 x 14,523 members = $58,092 PER month.
And that's really kinda off; 14,523 members will need to pay $36+ to play the game. I assume most/all will.
Soo as of right now, 14,523 members WILL be paying $36+ = ~$522,828 in a couple months + all new subs in the coming months. I've seen their Patreon member count sway by a couple thousand over the months/years, and from when I was subbed it didn't look like there were any long time subs commenting. So I assume their flush rate is high af.

And that $295 is not rare, I've seen multiple accounts post saying that they donated that amount and did not get the NEP(in-game currency) for that purchase during the last major update.

SIDE-NOTE: I used to think it was done PURELY for monetary reasons, but now I'm starting to think it's malicious beyond that as well. If most people only sub on Patreon for a month or two in order to get a serial, they loose their opportunity to let others know that the game isn't what they expected. That and who's going to go through the "566 posts" spanning 8 years..

FURTHER SIDE-NOTE: And why have a paid tier'd semi-closed beta anyways? it makes no sense.
Who tf pays for the chance to play a broken game.. I understand Patreon's whole thing and I understand Closed Beta, I beta'd maplestory and lol, but paid closed beta at well beyond minimum sub price? It just feels weird.
AND EVEN THEN, IT CLEARLY STATES: "all current and future closed beta test access on Steam" CLOSED BETA!
That means when they release this bitch, I bet we're all going to have to pay again to own the released version.

But yeah I digress, just don't do it lol

Gotcha, thank you.

That's some shit Minecraft wanted to do after some time (before Microsoft bought them), make each update cost money. If there's any game that deserves to be pirated, it's shit like this. Almost feels illegal tbh, to keep charging each month (basically), and then fully charge after it's release. And that's the crazy part, 36 bucks is basically half of what I'm sure they'll charge when it's "done". Fuck that and fuck them. They're doing too much and clearly have their heads in their ass.

Someone will crack this someday. R-right guys?
around 50% of Denuvo protected games weren't cracked until Denuvo is removed by the publisher. We are also not sure if crackers are interested in removing DRM of a small time online only adult game at all.

I have been following another porn game with Denuvo on steam for over a year and nothing happened so far.
Man can hope though.

True and I feel like that's the reason why this thread is still marked as active, eventually Denuvo going to get too pricey lol.

But from what has been said over on the Celia thread, it looks like 0.7.5 files have been extracted anyways.
And AFAIK Denuvo was put in WAY before that version. So there must be some type of way.
And thehackerknownas4chan said he wanted an even more up to date version so he could update everything.
Or maybe I just don't understand how Denuvo actually works..

Even then I don't think a simple crack, as in remove the need for a serial, is possible.
You'd still need to make a phony server and add cheats or give all items to the player.
Or create a real server for cracked players, which would be costly or be self hosted and insecure.

None of which would be worthwhile when the full game hasn't been finished yet.
Hasn't even been really talked about, only hinted: "A roguelike strategy game featuring squad tactics and deck building".
(AFAIK: I don't remember deck building when I initially signed up, I don't like card games.. :( )

And with the way that Project Helius updates stuff, we're years away.
They are still working on the failed 0.8 update from February.

Even after launch it's going to make little sense; it looks like they are setting the game up to be a micro-transaction hell hole with daily's and weekly's and battle passes all dependent on new stuff being added. The crack would need to constantly be updated to add in everything new.
They re-made the game so that it's dependent on the assets you acquire from playing the game periodically and the online multiplayer aspect of requiring items given to you by other players in order to gain exp/items, like a cell phone game.
It's fucking burnt on the possibility of being cracked, imo.

Unless they pull some Baldur's gate DnD shit, and have the story line be amazing.
But there's zero indication that is possible with this "studio".

So best bet someone smart enough is interested in the game/feels bad for us, and Denuvo is gone by that point, and then cracks somewhat of a finished copy.
And we get what we get and that's it. No KKmanager type stuff, with updating components and mods.

SERIOUSLY, in the years I've been following this project and outside Discord/Twitter, it honestly looks like 1 person is building this game. AFAIK Helius is the alias name for 1 person, the main dev. Everything has to go through him prior to being approved/added. And apparently he doesn't speak English. The mods that just quit, were helping him translate/communicate with us.
I COULD BE WRONG ON ALL OF THAT, but afaik this is what I've gleened.

I do it so I can talk shit like this ^ lol
Almost definitely this. This game is almost certainly following the same model as every other title like this: one core dev who periodically contracts out some work (like UC fixing the network model) but majority of dev is done exclusively by them.

You look at all his announcements regarding hires and they're often repeating the same artist and detail specific work, e.g. they're being commissioned. Like modelling some garments and then Helius announces they hired (this time for outfit design and model optimisation). I don't think I've ever seen him announce any development hires either, they're all artists.

Helius just likes to refer to stuff like "the x team" or whatever because it makes it sound like the project is bigger than it really is. The same way he tries to pretend he's an ex-Googler or Bethesda employee. In reality it's Helius, some volunteers like the translators/mods and a small number on short term contracts for specific tasks.

Outsourcing is a common practice in game development, especially for art assets, so I don't get why that comes as a surprise to you. Some of the artists who contributed to this project are from South Korea and China where porn stuff are technically illegal so it's understandable that they do not want to be officially hired.

Oh it absolutely doesn't come as a surprise and I don't consider it to inherently be a bad thing, as I said it's the same model employed by most really small devs on projects like this. The issue is that Helius pretends that he is running a larger operation which very clearly isn't true.

Yeah I'd love so too, i dont think theres any other game thats better than this one in terms of inmersion (for VR atleast). Only one that comes to mind would be VAM, but for newbies it can get annoying. If anyone knows about top tier games like this for VR that i might not know about, id love to try em!!
