lots of devs have an account on this site and discuss their game here, that shows that these devs care about their game and look to improve it. on the other hand we have gumdrop. devs like him that are only interested in $$$, are avoiding this site, because they're only interested in their income, and they'll milk it while they can. his excuse is old pc/hardware, yet he makes 10k a month and can't buy a new one? gtfo
the real problem is his patrons. 4 months with no update and they're still giving him money? wow you must be quite rich if you wanna waste your money on nothing
it' a shame though, i really like this game, the mother is the most realistic milf i've seen in an adult game

Salesman can't hold a candle. Forget the kids smacking gibberish about his milking business, Kyle's a damn broker when it comes to servicing his accounts and people are just starting to notice this? I thought the 2017 Christmas episode officially made his incompetence known to his patrons and pirates alike.

It isnt necesseraly that they notice now, but more that it has hit a a new level of milking now. At first I thought he was incompetent but now I see his true agenda since he makes it more obvious every month.

Gumdrop´s new message should have made it clear to the last one that it is only about money now. In the beginning that was different, but once the rubels rolled, money became king. Look at his new post, all about business and money, the game comes as backdrop. Even accounting for moving away from Puritan, eh, Patreon what did he offer in his post? He lavishly spoke about how you can feed him more money, the game? A few breadcrumb of wallpapers, few give a single toss about and a blatant lie about how time-consuming the renders are.
I wrote it a few posts up, that I made a HD test render on my totally average Home PC with just internal GPU which took roundabout 20 minutes. Granted, I simply put persons and props in to make it a heavy render and actually arranging things takes a bit more time, but unlike me, Gumdrop supposedly has render-specialised hardware, which speeds up render time by several factors compared to my PC.
So there are simply two possible optionsfor his slow rendering:
a) What gumdrop says is true, but then he admitted in a roundabout way that he is a lazy ass, who cannot be bothered to work until the audience gets grumpy. Because as other developers show consistently, you can deliver a comparable amount of render pics with comparable quality for update within 1-2 month.
orb) Which I find much more probable: Gumdrop is lying through his teeth about the ptrgress. I am 99% sure, he could update this evening if he wanted, because he has the update finished and is just pushing how long he can wait until the milkcows, eh, the patrons finally are fed up.

I am not so impressed with the general scheme of our little conman, because in normal business he would have really foul mooded customers come knocking. Where I have to raise my virtual hat is how gumdrop can rope in such docile patrons who can be quieted with a few dirtcheap posters. He should tell us how he does this, because here he really shines.

Not quite. Most of the gallery and a minority of patrons got fed up with his crawling update speed, obfuscation and sometimes blatant lies.
It is a phenomenom how gumdrop keeps the majority of his backers quiet when THEY have the power of the mighty Dollar, Euro, Mark, Yen or whatver currency. In the beginning the developer has shown that he can work speedily and with good quality, if he wants or has to, now he finds more or less creative excuses for why a Nacktschnecke is faster than him. (see my post above)

1.0 is not necessarily the end of the game, far from it in this case.

I read all the conversation, and it was long, cause i stoped to follow this thread since 5 months at least, but again not really surprise to see what happening... 3 months without even a new release, its... Wow. I was patreon, six month ago for Gum, but when i saw, he waited the day one of two of the next month (telling us technical problems) just to be sure to have our money before launching his new update, i stoped. And i pledge for many others, and always the same result... The dev stop his game, or disapear... That why now, i will help only the dev on patreon, who are paid at each UPDATE, and not each month.
