Hello, may I ask where is the extracted folder? I have tried executing the program twice but I cannot find the "extracted" folder in my game folder or even in the system partition. Thanks.

Ya, that could well be true. I think all new products now have the serial type protection.
I don't think old games got updated though so the tool should still work for some stuff.
Thank you for the fast reply, now DLsite has for some days an 18% discount on everything and I wanted to take advantage of it while being sure that a DRM protected title could be "unDRM" for unlimited use. I guess that I will have to pass on the idea of buying this protected item now since the DRM removal tool still can't remove it on serial type protection.
Maybe if the title had had (yes "had had" exists in grammar
) the old protection then the removal tool should work as you said but I prefer to not take that sort of risk and just wait to the moment when the serial type protection finally can be removed with the tool or to the moment when DLsite removes that protection in that title.

You need to be able to play the game yourself for the tool to work.
Normally this means you need to have bought it yourself though you could potentially do something like share a password with the person who bought it as well.
(Disclaimer: New games on DLSite seem to be using a different DRM scheme for which this tool doesn't work at all. The usefulness of the tool is limited at the moment)

If it's the type that uses a serial code then this tool won't work.
Anyone understand how to remove the play DRM or rewrite the executable file so it does not check for a serial key. I do know that it creates a key based on the machine you are using it and the serial key they have given you and checks it they match a certain value which is a pain especially when planning to archive the games because it makes it unusable if you changed your PC and forces you to authenticate again and authorized with them. Frankly I hate these companies that make's us dependent on them for a long time for these products which we should have bought and owned. They now require internet connection to be played before hand and makes it hard to archive their games to be played in the future. I do know nothing last for long but dude I sometimes want to play my old games that I bought when I get older for nostalgias sake. Like WTF you greedy people/companies, makes me want to not play your games when you guys do this. Because I don't want to buy stuff and waste money on things that I would not own and need so much dependencies on different platforms. Examples are requiring internet connection, requiring to authenticate with them again, only using the game on 1 PC and etc. Don't get me wrong I mostly have internet within my hope 24/7 and play online games but knowing one day that once my internet is gone and I can't play my game anymore because of an serial issue using my new PC really pisses me off. Not to mention I buy these games just to play 2-4 hours costing me 10-15 USD is just criminal. Even some old steam games (2-3 years old) of large companies don't cost this much and they have so much content. I do know indie developers charge like these because their games are not sold to larger market but still makes it even more unbelievable that you can't archive the game to play just because of DRM. I guess the game will just die and not see the light of day to a massive player base. Don't get me wrong I even bought japanese games that I don't fully understand just to play it and using translation sites like google or DeepL just to check the story and premise of the game. Hoping that 1 day I can learn japanese and fully understand the game in the future wanting to archive it for now while it's available and you get hit with the play DRM that you don't know if it will still work in the future. Like seriously I do hope companies and people go think about this DRM stuff and completely remove it. They should also learn that doing this just makes people want to crack their game much more and believe me when I say I'll go learn their algorithm if I have the time and crack this shit myself and distribute it just to piss them off.

If you're so determined, current version of playDRM is just "rebranded" Enigma Protector, it has been around for some number of years, and you might find various information about how it works online or some copies of it to practice on. I wrote some tools for it, although because they are very protection specific and I believe if I uploaded them the protection author would just change the protection, so I do not publish them (instead just publish the cracks), so if you just need the resources extracted I can do that if provided with the exe. If you want a full dump with the VM removed (so entire protection), so far I can do the CISC VM, but the RISC one still needs some work, but I'll most likely finish that in a few weeks if I can manage to find the time.
As for the serial algo, the keygen code is not really protected, but it's asymmetric encryption so it might not always be possible to keygen it (you can only break the 512bit RSA variants with commodity hardware), most likley you can extract the values from your key (there's just a small encryption constant in them) and inline it to use that passing the check, although that makes an exe you can share, the protection that prevents reverse engineering is still around, you would need to remove the VMs to truly get a clean exe. Not that that's really needed with DMM games as they keep using standard game engines, usually unmodified.

There's an rpgm vx ace game I was hoping to get cracked. Could you potentially get the resources out of the launcher? The game has not been cracked contrary to the op's statement it was just that they already entered the activation key.

From what I can tell this game uses the more recent DRM system (playDRM I think) which I haven't been able to crack... I think. I've looked at a bunch of different drm setups and may be getting them mixed up in my head.

Well thankfully I was able to rebuild the game from the trial version I'm still testing it but it should be playable

After I update this game using the bug fix patch 1.02, I can't start the game anymore, and it showed a JP pop-up ,asking me to install SoftDenchi DRM ( means the old crack file from Anime-sharing /original uploader is no longer working )

Sorry but the tool only works for games that already are authenticated for you.
It's for allowing one person to buy it and create a DRM-free version anyone can use. It doesn't bypass the initial DRM check.
Also does the attachment here not work?
I know it got marked as a virus but it isn't and you can still download it.

Never mind, turns out i have to install follow a correct order -> crack, dlc , then finally the bug fix patch (recommend install the package/dvd version )

Guess does anyone know DRM removers that work from DMM Player Visual Novel's? Because I can't use extractor to paly the games I paid for and IK based on this thread I'm not the only whose had this problem but the DRM Remover doesn't seem to work on it
