You must start with the first one that has a start button and then all the rest you can load the save from them.

Looked it up here but no one says anything about it besides the ones saying they have the same problem

Same here, I ended up deleting the game and moved on. So much of it even with the "fixes" didn't work

That could be outdated unpacking software.
Get the latest version and try it again.

I would recommend you get both of them latest version.
