Chill out dude, they did that back at another Forum I was part of years ago, people continued sharing their comics and nothing happened to anyone involved, you're not going to jail m8.

Dude.. you've been bamboozled.
The worst dofantasy can do is sue you. In europe and north america, you won't go to jail for 20-40 usd per comic which IMHO is WAY TOO MUCH for those comics and at the same time, far too cheap to sue over to get their money. And in most courts, when they find out what content Dofantasy specializes in, their prospects get MUCH WORSE. When you factor in that they are set up like a seedy, overcharging publishing house for torture porn, your chances actually improve. Who wants to defend an overpriced clearinghouse for torture, necrophila, and guro porn? NOBODY with half a brain.
So, their "lawyerly" letter to you is stand debt collector bullshit. I dare Dofantasy to show evidence that anyone has ever gone to jail over this. Or that they've even won any lawsuits. I think their standard way is to to constant DMCA requests and attempt to scare everyone into submission just to make a few more bucks.
Shame on you, Dofantasy. Your attitude is much worse than your content.
BTW...A copyright lawyer friend says if his firm was asked to represent Dofantasy, they would say NO.
I'm in the US, I'm considering a counter-suit because they doxed me, releasing my real name and the school I go to on a public forum, and intimating that they'd contact the school and see "how they liked me sharing comics". They also said they'd contact my school in a second email, and sent me a message stating they could "do whatever we want with your information because you committed an illegal action against us." Do I have any odds or should I just let the whole thing drop and not worry about it?

If they doxxed you (I'm a member on 8muses, btw) then that's not cool. That's against the law. That could open them to slander? Just try a consult with a lawyer and see what he/she says. Bring a copy of what they did.
Usually all a company needs to do is file dmca claims and then contact the "leaker" privately and ask them not to do it again. That can include bans from patreon, their site, etc (which is fine). They can also contact the payment provider with your details and ask for you to not use thier services with them again. That's also okay.
But threatening with things that may never happen, doxxing, and stating intent to commit slander to your person is way above standard business fare. That's why I'd do a consult and go from there. 1 guy who shared 5 comics is nothing on the court's radar.. they're looking for music, videos and illegal content. Comics aren't even on their radar. But businesses acting outside of the norms can get hammered.

RollsTheDice20, I was curious following on from what Muttdoggy wrote about doxing. He's 100% correct I did a quick look around and it's illegal in the US, UK, Australia, Canada etc. It varies from country to country and then state to state within each country. But basically in a "nut shell" it ties in with the criminal laws that cover stalking, cyberstalking, harassment, threats, slander and other such offences. I saw info on cases where courts had handed down jail sentences, one case in Canada a conviction of 16 months was handed out. I agree with Muttdoggy, you might want to consult legal advice, or at the very least have a look around the net at case examples etc. Dofantasy might be the ones who find their threats come back to bite them square on the arse! I agree with most comments here, also if Dofantasy or any other company treatens you with revealing personal info from you to make an example, I'll recommend to go with that proof to a lawyer and ask for advice, because that at least is considered harassement, depending of what they wrote to you, they could be the ones ending with a serious problem with a court.
We all know that their comics are fantasy and not real, but i doubt that any court that look into their content will go easy on them. Defending their suff is ok, but overpricing has much to do with their piracy issues and nothing else.

hey mate, thanks for work, but all your pdfs have bad crop from top and bottom. Your files have removed some black space around top and bottom edge, but its remove some texts baubles too, so it made some texts unreadable
can you fix it ??
