I really wanted to give this game 3 stars, believe me. But I can't. I've played for a long time, but I stopped keeping up with it once they added the AI CGs. Still, I wanted to review it because it was a game I liked and because it made me realize a few more issues people should know about. Since it's been some time, I may get confused on a few things, so I apologize in advance.

First, I want to address the AI art since this is what made me drop this game. If a developer wants to use AI art in their games, they are free to do so in my opinion. However, changing from original art to ai during the development is something I despise. I'm sorry, but it just feels lazy, boring and bland. This dev in particular didn't even try to make the ai art look like the original one in this game (which is something you can definitely train your ai to do, so the fact that they did the bare minimum, which is to make it look like the characters just enough so you would recognize them tells me everything I need to know).

Maybe the art wasn't to everyone's tastes, and yes it may not have looked like Dragon Ball, but it was its own thing and it was appealing. How can you just replace it with that sh*t? Is it because of time? Money? Or just plain and boring lazyness? I don't understand. I could go on an even longer rant on this issue, but there's really no point. Just know that the dev even didn't put any effort into the Ai art (and there isn't even a lot of efforts needed in the first place). Even if you're desperate for DB parodies, this isn't worth it, at least not for the art. What about the rest of the game?

So, the content... It feels like there is a lot of it... But there really isn't. There's a ton of story, but sex scenes? Nope. Not if you compare it to the story size. There's a sh*t ton of things that are just not available, and I'm not even kidding. There has been options "available" versions ago, and they still say it's in development. You have multiple rooms in your castle with a girl in each room. You can chat with them, but don't bother. Obviously, I'm not speaking for the complete game, but for now, talking to any of them is useless.

There's nothing to grind for, and if you hadn't unlocked sex scenes for them, then there's nothing to unlock. Any sex scene available will be unlocked pretty quickly, so don't worry about missing anything if you don't talk to them everyday. So, yes, those rooms are useless. There is little to no scenes with Bulma, which is insane when you know she is literally the second character to appear in Dragon Ball.

Chichi is basically non-existent, and same for Videl. Btw, when I say there aren't a lot of sex scenes, that also include repeatable ones.

You have other planets to explore. Don't bother with them. I mean, visit them at least once since you'll get one sex scene, which is repeatable. But you can forget about them after that because there's jack sh*t after that. Note: some planets aren't even available yet. As if there were a hundred of them, but nope! They've been there from the start, too. Still not available :HideThePain:

Now, the story. It's a mess. You're supposed to be an overpowered God of Destruction (and Zeno's personal creation), but you get your ass kicked pretty frequently. Then you get a training arc an insane f*cking timeskip (multiple timeskips at that) or you spend hundreds of years into some kind hyperbolic time dimension to come back with super saiyan god super saiyan 5 or some sh*t. What the hell is the point of these powerups? You don't even feel any different. I felt absolutely no difference with that surge of power in the story.

Btw, you need to sleep after every story segment for some f*cking reason. Because you're tired. It's annoying, especially when the segment is short. It just feels like a way to uselessly prolong the game.

At some point, there's a plot with your son betraying you and with Vados taking his side (yeah because she's his mother), and like, I get it. A mother's love knows no bound, but the dude is f*cking crazy! He literally betrays you and tries to kill you, but for some reason she takes his side? WHY?! Why would she do that?!

This also reminds me of the random invisible robot that kicks your ass at the start of the game. Yes, an invisible robot. After some training, you destroy the thing. Rince and repeat throughout the game with different antagonists and more convoluted storylines.

I could go on and on, but there's no point. You got the gist of it. If you're an android 18 fan, it's great for you, though! Content wise. Until it's ruined by the sudden ai art jumpscare.

I would have given this game a 4 stars when I first tried it, so you can imagine my disappointment by rating it 2.

Narcolepsy Simulator 1.4 brilliantly presents the player with the terrible reality of chronical narcolepsy.
The protagonist of this art piece (might be a self insert of the developers judging by the development time) is forced to sleep for a whole day after every brief interaction, the chaotic and inconsistent artwork further displays the psychological effect of the illness, having reality itself slowly warp and deteriorate around the protagonist, who is battling against time it self to complete a 30 days story line in the full lifespan of an immortal.

You might expect exponential power scaling coming in to a DB parody but the only things to grow will be the day counter and your existential dread as you slowly struggle through random minigames, poorly generated AI art, useless choices and Renpy errors.

While the art it is actually pretty good, and the story it is entertaining, the gameplay mechanics are really bad, i didn't knew how to progress the story for a few days where I just talked to Vados and slept, until i missclicked and knew how to progress. The interface it's just as bad as the gameplay, there are options where you don't know why are there, some minigames are useless, and even there are mechanics that doesn't have a purpose at all. Reading a little bit of story just to go to sleep because I can't do this this tired it is just not nice.
While great portion of the story it's actually nice, a lot of the writing it's just filler.

    TheRealZeroEnergy

The art was good most of the time even if different from the Dragon Ball anime it was always possible to tell which characters was who, but once the OG artist left it just went downhill in quality (Bust like 18 and Heles are flawless and incredibly well done, but Bulma is literally melting in all of their initial scenes before her re-design, her face being the most noticeable issue). And at this point they are using AI art (while stating in their Patreon that the AI art is just a "base" for the REAL art ) and don't even bother fixing details like eyes or hands (one of 18 scenes eyes are melting in her face while the guards have "weird" hands), this is unfortunately what happened when you depend of a very complex, slow to make and specific to one artist art-style.

The story from the beginning was always inconsistent and as time went on full of retcons and unfinished arcs (Beerus and his brother are an example, either they are dead or stuck somewhere, the female demon is a villain that quite literally NEVER shows up and is defeated by Zenos, NOT YOU). 18 went from behaving as herself to full stereotype wife after the time-skip (I don't think I need to explain that no one want in a Dragon Ball Porn Parody marriage issues as a plot point... And they do it twice), Videl program code is broken (it was always broken and until this day after years has not being fixed) and her "arc" is she giving up and having almost-but-not-yet sex with you.

Characters Like Bulma and Heles and the female Sayans are forgotten by the plot at this point, when betrayed Bulma, Videl, Chi-Chi don't do anything to help you and you left Earth on a bad note, but isn't this a Harem game? how it's harem if half the girls don't like you or are not with you and having sex with their husbands on earth? All of this happened because the Dev himself admitted that they want to walk away from the Dragon Ball content, this explain why we are forced to play as "Draco" in the recent update, but if you don't want or can't work anymore using those characters then shouldn't you say that?

And there Vados, the main girl betrays you for our son, one of the most annoying characters ever created, he is obviously evil but no one seems to notice, Vados aways protect him above you and go as far to try to kill you (again this is a Harem game, making Vados a enemy is the same as making Katara a bad guy in Avatar for drama sake). And when it comes to choices not one of them related to Vados matter, so join her or betray her have the same outcome, why give it to the player then? if the game is linear them just commit to it.

Story - 0 (The story is confusing, inconsistent and actively works against the player, there are moments where the game also don't explain important stuff to you, like the Gin mini-game where it tells you to do the opposite to win or Videl scenes not working but the game just running along with it as if you made those scenes.

Characters - 2 (Characters like 18, Vados and Bulma suffer from double personality while characters like Heles, Caulifla and Pancha are not bad written just forgotten by the plot, and the rest are too non-memorable to even mention, Cheela is the only good new addition and she is irrelevant to the story). And don't bother with the male characters, 99% of the time they don't have opinions, are plot objects or go against you for five seconds (Gohan betrays you and you can't do nothing against him. Kill him, they will bring him back and Goku just watched, put him in prison? Goten doesn't seem to mind).

Tags: The game started with a shota tag, removed, it was for years mainly Harem, your harem is destroyed by the end of the last arc, either you were betrayed or they just disappear. NTR was never a thing, the dev himself stated that it would not be a thing, they added it and remove it while stating in they Patreon that actually there was no NTR and everything was going to be explained in the next update. MC as the only playable character? enters Draco, the MC's son that consider having sex with his own mom (our wife 18)!

This was one of my first/favorite games in this website so I had time to experience how the development went throughout the years (not all of them though), from "drama" using art of other artists as "placeholders" without the original artists consent (the artist himself asked them to be removed). To stating that problematic tags like NTR would not be in the game and adding years later, removing other tags like shota, harem, etc. Making inconsistent statement here and on their Patreon, the creators never quite managed to convince me that I could trust them enough to give them my support.

The game is broken in every aspect, it's the only game that I ever found in such state in here, which breaks my heart because is the only "real" DB parody that we have.

This game is slightly overcriticized in my opinion. First and foremost, the art in this game is pretty good, which is a big positive. Also, the story is not as bad as the other reviews make it out to be. It isn't exceptional, but it's fun and keeps you entertained throughout. The sex scenes are also pretty nice and some of them are repeatable. There are some cons though. As the reviews said, the UI is really bad. It's hard to navigate and you don't really know what has new content most of the time, you're just clicking around aimlessly. A lot of the buttons don't do anything until much later in the game. Also, many storylines get interrupted and its pretty easy to tell when there was an update and the creator forgot to finish the previous storyline. Overall though, you should definitely give it a shot because I think it is a good time killer and will keep you entertained if you stick with it.

Edit: The game also gets better later on, which is promising and a good sign that the dev actually uses the money to improve it.

Although I did enjoyed it at first, that was mostly fanboyism talking.
All in all, porn is meh, writing kinda sucks, author sets up a base "Chad body yet shota mind" only to forget it pretty quickly, story has huge discrepancy issues and honestly isn't very intersting, etc. etc.
The only reason its 2 stars and not 1 is because I did have fun imagining being a saiyajin Sex God of Destruction.

...I must say that for a parody...it has a very interesting story and at least I was hooked. I must say that the main character, even if you want to believe that he is a fuckboy, he is not, but under certain circumstances, I obtained certain profits. I liked it a lot, because of the story and the visual part of the +18 scenes, but I will detail why below:

    0----->5

-Drawing/3D modeling: 4.7 (The drawing seems excellent to me, for the most part, of course. This is because sometimes another style of art appears and this can be conflicting on certain occasions, in the same way I found the character designs to be excellent, I particularly liked the design of kale.)

-Music/Background sound: 5 (good music for each environment, that is, it is not limited to a single background sound, the effects also seem relevant to the actions that take place within the game.)

-Plot: 5 (His story seemed funny to me, in my opinion unique. It certainly has certain "wtf?" moments, but hey, it's a parody of a series, you can't wait any longer. I like that very simultaneous stories appear and that they are intertwined with each other, that is to say, what happened in the first story, has repercussions in 2 or 3 arcs later, I liked that a lot. There is a point where the MC seems to evolve as a character, but I wouldn't take it too seriously. The internal conflict of the characters (of those who appear the most, because after a while certain characters are lost and we don't know anything), the interaction between the MC and them also seems good to me, I mean even if it contains netori (lack of putting that tag) . I really like the way things are going. Something that I did not like is that they implement characters that are "unique" (that is, created by the author himself) but there is very little interaction and from one moment to another they appear just because, without any context. I think the author should have focused on the DB characters themselves and if he was going to implement his own creation, give him something that adds to the importance of the game in general.)

-Map: 2 (The map, well, horrible to tell the truth, has to improve in many aspects, at least in the interface, what I can notice is that the creator put more effort into argumentative content than into the visual. There are certain areas where one cannot access but they are implemented there, I think it would be better to let them appear according to what can be done. It is necessary to improve this aspect, so that the gameplay is more pleasant because up to this point, it seems to me that he put everything in a pot.)

-Animation: 1 (There is little animation, if not nothing. Only the "fights" and a minigame that came out of nowhere have animation. I think there are 2 scenes that have some animation but at a minimum, anyway, in my opinion I don't see the need to add animation in the game, I think it would be better to add better transitions between scenes.)

    - 18+ Scenes: 3 (I'm going to be honest, I spent the whole game, reading dialogues and scenes +18, I must say that they seem insufficient to me, for the amount of content that there is. Even that such "sanbox", at most it has about 4 scenes and there are 7 characters, more or less usable, that only about 2 or 3 have something. I think that here the creator was based more on the argumentative content than on the +18, but that's fine, I liked the story, but it seems to me that it has almost nothing of that type of scenes for the amount of content that there is .)

-Gameplay: 3 (up to a certain point it's ok, the game starts as a linear novel, and extensive. But it reaches a point where it tries to become a sandbox, however there is almost no content for the sanbox, literally you have like 8 npc to sanbox them, within this I think they all have 2 to 3 normal dialogues, but scenes +8, only like 3 or 4 has scenes +18 but they are repeated scenes that extract them from the linear part of the story, so instead of sanbox I would put it as a "Gallery" in which you can access only some old scenes, of course I hope this is in the meantime, so that it is really a sandbox. On the other hand, the interaction with other planets has good argumentative dialogues, but scenes +18 are weak and sometimes pointless.)

-Interface: 4 (Here they should add a kind of gallery window, because there are some scenes that can not be repeated and you have no way to see them if you already passed them.)

As a conclusion I must say, a story that I am really enjoying and I am anxious to know what else the creator is going to develop, it is one of those few stories that at least I do not like to skip the dialogues. I think that the creator should focus on improving what he already has instead of continuing to add content because yes, since there are some aspects of the game that are wrong and should be reviewed. On the other hand this is more of a story game than a +18 game. If there is +18 content, but the amount of dialogues and stories etc, etc, overshadow the little +18 content that it has, it took me about 20H to beat the game, reading the dialogues carefully, and of those 20H I could say that there is like 2H of sexual content. If you are looking for a fast fap, this is not your game, if you are looking for something entertaining and that suddenly has something sexual, I recommend it.

Art might be subjective but I thought it was absolutely great.

The UI is annoying and reminds me of the early 00-s flash games.

So thus far, this game is surprisingly good. I never heard anything about it but decided to give it a go, and I'm far from disappointed. The visuals are a little inconsistent with side characters having anime PNGs as their sprites which could be jarring and is slightly amateur, but once you get used to it, it doesn't really take you out of the game that much.

I very much appreciate the creativity in letting the MC be a God of Destruction rather than a very strong Saiyan which is the obvious choice for any Dragon Ball game ever. I love the setting of living in a castle with Vados, the Oracle Fish and the two guards, and the amount of content is absurdly big, at least compared to what I expected.
The story is a bit unorthodox for Dragon Ball but it's not really a bad thing, the twists and dark turns it takes keep catching me off guard as the game isn't afraid to take anything from the player: his powers, his home, his friends and Vados. It balances off its humorous tones with those dramatic sequences and plotlines and that's fantastic. There might be some disjointed story beats, weirdly paced character arcs or entire character forgotten for a good portion of the game (looking at Caulifla, Videl and 21), and the story isn't exactly a natural continuation of the Dragon Ball world, but it takes up a life of its own. This really is an original story disguised as a Dragon Ball parody, and honestly, I don't really mind it as it's way less boring than retelling "Goku fights against strong villains".

When it comes to the playability and user interface, I'd say it could be a little less vague. The game heavily relies on you repeating the sequence of going to sleep and clicking on the "Quest" feature to progress the story, and barely requires you to use the vast interactive features the castle offers: the map, the universe map, the garden... And if it does deviate from the usual formula, it doesn't tell you anything, so you might want to continue the story but get stuck since the "Quest" feature suddenly has nothing, and then you're on your own. Some sort of a journal or a hint system could help this issue, but it's fine as long as those deviations are not too vague or hard to figure out. Also, a shorter way to get quickly to the bed in the castle would be an extremely beneficial quality of life change.

In addition, it wasn't uncommon for an error to pop up during the game, and while most of these could be skipped, one of them locked me out of finishing the fight against Gin and his angel and skipped to its aftermath, skipping a bunch of story beats that likely will be important later. I don't mind minor bugs of course and they didn't detract from the game's quality, but they were slightly inconvenient and with how ambiguous the game can be about what you should do next, it gives off the feeling that perhaps I as a player did something wrong and screwed the progression.

The characters also feel pretty faithful to their original selves, and despite the new artstyle for the girls that isn't anything like the Dragon Ball artstyle, it gives the game a life of its own and its own flare. This Vados has the essence of the original, but has enough personality of her own and the artstyle shift allows her to be her own character without it being uncanny or jarring. This isn't the DBS Vados with some extra lines and a lewd undertone: its a new original character that is roughly based off of a fairly one-dimensional character from the show. And that's true for all characters, whether it's Caulifla, Lazuli or Heles.

The son plotline is also very interesting and throws you for a loop, Gin being the initial antagonist makes sense and sets him up to be the primary boss to defeat, but then the twist with the son turns things around, especially with how grim and depressing he turns the game. Vados betraying you I'm a bit mixed on, as that makes her character slightly unlikeable and untrustworthy, which isn't a bad thing, but she was the one character that was portrayed as the most loyal, so having her betray you just gives off a feeling of unease. I appreciate trying to humanize her and give her flaws rather than being the MC's lapdog, but unless she's given a proper redemption arc and owns up to her betrayal while acknowledging MC's shortcomings, her character will be significantly less likable after this, for me at least.

One thing I'd like to see implemented is more replayability. Once you unlock the girls' rooms in the castle you can replay some scenes- and Vados scenes are always available, but a lot of scenes are a one time thing that's never displayed again. Initially I thought that using the Namekian dragon you could basically access any scene and CG that you played through, but you really can't. For characters that aren't in the castle like Caulifla, or scenes that you can't replay like the majority of Videl's and Heles's, I'd just love to have a way to revisit everything rather than having to replay hours to get there again, whether it's through the dragon or having more options in the character interactions.

Overall, I did enjoy this game a TON, it has colorful characters, nice visuals, a very subversive and original story for a franchise as overdone in media as Dragon Ball, and its characters are easy to get attached to.
Hope to see more, thank you and keep up the fantastic work!

    The art is great.
    The writing is decent.
    The gameplay is boring.
    The UI is atrocious.

The story is as linear as one can be. Progressing the story consists in clicking 3 buttons, pressing 3 other buttons to rest and then repeating the same cycle. It is tedious and unengaging. Sometimes you'll be prompted to take a decision. It will at best reduce the amount of grind necessary to unlock a 2-pictures sex scene but in most cases it won't have any impact at all. Sometimes you'll be tempted to click different buttons and explore different locations because the previous quest ended with "we need to meet character A to progress the story" but it'll be in vain : just click the same 3 buttons everytime.

What truly unnerves me and pushes me to write this review is the user interface. There is no better way to describe the UI of v1.0.7 than quoting these wise words from a wise man :
I am very highly educated, I know words, I have the best words, but there's no better word than stupid !
So many mistakes were made I don't know where to start. I don't know how much thought was put into the process of designing the UI but it was clearly not enough.
    • Half the buttons don't do anything. When you click them, you just go to a screen telling you that you can't go there or it isn't available yet ... If the button is useless, don't show it.
    • Important stats are not shown. Some actions will arbitrarily make you tired. Once tired, you won't be able to perform some actions. But the only way to know whether you're tired or not is to navigate through the terrible UI to click the action you want to perform and then be told whether you can do it or not ... Have an icon somewhere telling whether you're tired or not (a sleeping head or a yawning face for example) and grey out buttons whose action you can't perform (with a disclaimer when you hover it explaining why).
    • The actions most often done are hard to reach. Like, seriously, why do I have to go through 2 different screens to sleep ? It is the most common action, just put a shortcut somewhere, a bed icon or something, and let me get on with my divine adventure ! Same for questing : 3 clicks E-V-E-R-Y-T-I-M-E.
This game has the potential to be a good VN but it is set back by a clunky and actually unneeded UI. Because, in the end, why are there so many buttons when every day is spent pressing the "quest" then "sleep" buttons ? Does the game plan to be a sandbox game at some point ? Because it's been developed for 4 years now and it still isn't. Game dev, you have to decide whether you want to make a VN or a sandbox game because the middleground where your game stands on is a tedious enthusiasm-draining mess.

    Guy Guyminheimer

This game is perhaps the most loyal adaptation of the Dragon Ball franchise into porn that could possibly be made, and I mean that in the worst way possible. I'm a huge fan of Dragon Ball, and that's why I have so many complaints about it as a franchise. Here's a rough outline of the kinds of issues pervasive in the Dragon Ball canon:

    - A lack of linear progression
    - Abandonment of plot lines and forgetting entire characters exist
    - Misuse of a crowded supporting cast
    - Repetitive and bloated story lines with unsatisfying endings
    - Fan service that either goes too far or not far enough
    - Exposition of overly-complex internal world logic that is then retconned and rewritten constantly

All of these things are present in this porn game parody when the strongest thing a porn game parody could be is simple. Meet iconic Dragon Ball characters, have sex with them.

Android 18 has the closest to normal progression, but it is not tied to the game mechanics that it pretends to be tied to. Bulma is used and forgotten. Vados has half of her progress happen normally, then completely halts, and then skips to the end as if they've had a sexual relationship the whole time. The MC kidnaps Videl and then forgets about her for months. The MC romances an OC princess but her progress is spread thin and her sex scenes are minimal. Bulma's mom shows up but since Bulma's progression is forgotten, her mom doesn't show up again for a long time. Kale shows up every once in a while but her story progression doesn't make any sense. Heles shows up and has an entire story plot twist involving Android 18 before either of them have their basic stories fully completed. The MC creates an entire "daughter" character that he also forgets about for months because she doesn't do anything.

There is a main story connecting these plots together, and it's the same boring Goku-lite main protagonist you'd find in Xenoverse, Legends, Heroes, etc. He's not likable or unlikable because he doesn't have any actual discernable personality.

This could all be solved by simplifying it down to collecting them like trophies and having simplistic dating sim mechanics like it pretends it's supposed to. There is an entire hub world built around the fact that this was what the game was trying to do that is still completely unused except for Android 18 whose progress is not actually accomplished through the dating sim stats.

The art is a fantastic rendition of Dragon Ball characters in a new style, but not any better than the average twitter-posting artist who makes Rule34 pinups. Overall, twitter pinups and comics are a better alternative than this game due to not being tied to a game with a bad story and worse gameplay.

This game is BEGGING for animations. It has an amazing art and a cool story to tell with likable characters (mostly because they really like you) but fails to tell those stories because of a poor choise of dialogues, scenes and UI.

Art is great but that alone isn't enough, I'd rather be reading a comic on it or something else because I can't bare to click mindlessly and grind just to watch a picture even if really well made and detailed.

If you enjoy it still you'll find great art and material, just don't get your hopes up that much.

I legitimately thought I had bugged the game and did stuff out of order several times because the story is so disconnected. I'm still not certain I haven't, but the description of the game plot on the main page is nothing like the actual story. It's a visual novel in Ren'Py, it needs a cohesive story. I think the story needs to be redone from the ground up.

The assets like Vados and 18 that all look like they came from the same source are stellar though, super hot. Not all the art is like that, but what is, is really good.

I came to jerk off, I stayed for the story. Honestly, this shit is top tier. More of a novel than a porn game. Id say put off a few hours to get to know the game, and if it strikes ur fancy, either as a porn game, or as a interactive novel, then stay. Can't wait for the final update!

How people can like this game?

    -Inconsistent Artwork
-Zero intention to integrate the "Artwork " with the game looks like someone went to the rule34 webside pick a bunch of DBZ fan art and dropped it into a Ren'Py Game.
    - Story is a Joke, uninteresting, and the worst of all unnecessarily long.
-Grindy just to extented the duration of the game.

I'll try to be very quick here, as the protagonist of this game you become a brand new god of destruction picking up the slack of Champa and Beerus after the tournament of power, and also the main plot is about something like, "oh no the Z Fighters are gone what are we going to now!?!?", for the sake of you the main character getting to Bone all the pretty sexy girls. So is it fun? Yes!!! But also no??... It struggles with the game part a lot, for example, there's a ton of basic bugs and infinite loops that have not been fixed yet despite being on this site since the beginning of Christian creation and change its name 410 billion times to please the Patreon police and possibly angry Grandpa Toriyama.

7 out of 10 " okay this isn't half bad! I Have a good chubb going on!"
