Biggest hint yet: "think movie genre".
playing 20 questions for a preference that could have been answered
Yes. My NTR-liking comes from a completely different fetish. Try to guess what it is. I'll write an answer in a couple of hours.
3 hours ago instead of starting a guessing game.

I'm thinkin 50 shades of grey type shit and that's classified as an erotic romance novel so I'm guessin Romance

You are all "oh so close" partially and yet "oh boy so far" in full answers.
But you have to admit the guessing game is interesting.
I'll give you a few more guesses before I give answer/full explanation.

"Romance" is as cold as a North pole.

You like mind break degradation and humiliation of the girls. Most NTR games have that

Yes, all of the above are used in the specific genre/kink the answer you are looking for. As well as rape and BDSM.
But none of those are the answer. Those are just tools.
Answer is the word you could use normally outside XXX content. (like I said, think "movie genre").

Ok. I'm starting to write an answer. I'll also reference all the things you got partially right, so it'll take a couple of minutes to write.

It all started from the sentence:
„My NTR-liking comes from a completely different fetish. Try to guess what it is.“

The answer is „superheroine“ or „superheroine genre“.

In regular movies it's called „superhero“ genre. – I would accepted that as an answer, even if I'm interested in only female ones.

„Corruption“ was a good start. In XXX superheroine genre supervillain sometime tries different methods to corrupt superheroine and turn her into supervillainess.
Humiliation, BDSM, rape, mind control, mind break, drug use, etc. are all tools used to convert or completely break superheroine.
If Insomnimac said „Domination“ instead of the opposite „Domination loss“ he would have been the closest.
Also „Crime“ was good answer – superheroines sometimes fight ordinary criminals (are subdued by them) and not just supervillains.
Oh, and if you look in the f95 tags, you'll find „superpowers“ tag, which is the closest to „superheroines“, but it covers too much of a broad spectrum of games.

Now you're thinking „What the hell does XXX superheroine genre have in common with NTR stuff?! How did this guy get from A to B?!“

Well, main premise of the superheroine genre is „bad guy gets superheroine and ravishes her in multitude of ways“. Domination plays the role here – the more physically powerful the heroine – the better. Ending can be different – corruption in the supervillainess, full mind break, it doesn’t matter. The point is – bad guy defeats good heroine. XXX movies are the only ones I’m actually rooting for the villain.

In NTR the basic premise is the same “bad guy gets the good girl” and that is the whole point. Here physical strength plays no role, so mundane things like blackmail also work (again, only tools and variations).
As far as MC in NTR goes, to me he is nothing more than a narrator or, at best, plot device moving the plot forward. It’s all about villain getting the girl. If I decided I felt something for MC, I would have played netorase (that way MC is happy and I also get my fetish).

Moral of the story? When someone says they like some kink, they can like it for completely different reasons. For example milf lovers could have started from different fetishes altogether, some of them were into gilfs before they turned to milf, others were into teens. If someone says the he likes NTR it isn’t necessary because he likes cucking, or something like that. He could have come from the opposite direction completely. Don’t assume anything.

Now, so far, on the question “Why you dislike/hate NTR?” I only saw 101 different forms of answer “Player connects to MC on some emotional level”. I’m interested to see if there are any other answers besides “emotional connection with MC”, or is that really the only reason for the NTR dislike.

Because people get attached to characters, and if you being cucked is canon in atleast 1 timeline it means that the character you like is a shallow person who would just abandon you for dick or pussy
Even if I don't get attached to a character I don't want to see her banged by some random guy, if she could be banged by the MC who I play.

The whole thing that makes NSFW games cool is that you get some background about what's going on and try to feel as if you were experiencing the game. Walking into a room where I see a random guy banging a random woman is something I skip immediately because it's a thousand times less interesting than the next scene with my MC in it.

The only kind of scene I can tolerate is a lesbian scene between girls that I can both have in the game. Or a futa x girl scene, if I can have the futa also. If they're just having fun with my girls without any chance of me being involved (at least later), that's just boring and frustrating blueballing.

Why don't people like being cheated on in real life? Same answer. Blatantly obvious. If you play the game as if you're a spectator then it's not an issue. If you self insert and play the game as if you ARE the main character then most people don't like it, myself included.
Just wanted to say that I found this comment particularly funny, especially when you consider that the game in your signature (Long Live the Princess) has mainly rape scenes (mind control / sleep sex).

And to take part in this topic: in my case, I consider NTR like any other fetish. If I don't like a particular scene, I will just skip it. If a fetish I don't like takes up too much space in a game/story, I'm not going to play the game. But on the whole, even if a game has certain aspects I don't like, I'll keep playing if there's enough content that interests me.

That game has hardly any NTR and all of it is avoidable. So I'm fine with that. I'm actually not a fan of sleep sex either but you don't really have to do that much either. The aspect of that game that I like the most is the idea of progression being based on discovering secrets about the girls.

While I dislike the guessing game for "superheroine" to be the answer (I blaming the marvel C.U.) I don't particularly see how that relates to NTR even looking at the connection you tried to draw. the whole point of NTR is the story relates to the girl being coerced to cheat and abandon her boyfriend/husband, that's the central point to it, the MC getting cucked. To boil it down to "bad guy gets good girl" takes away from it even needing to be NTR; You could just get that from anything else tbh, rape, instaloss2koma, nuns, the cliche female knight x monster, really anything where a female loses and gets used, the required story beats of her belonging to someone and cheating on them don't even need to exist for those to still fill that BG-GG need. To my knowledge, most superheroines don't really have a "significant other", there are exceptions, being teen titans playing with the relationships thing and young justice as well having realized relationships, but I would say a lot of them don't. Granted, I haven't really watched superhero movies since like 2013 so there could be a lot more that do now, so the connection with NTR is lost on me there.

I personally would actually have counted domination-loss as correct, in the cases of the superheroines attempting to "dominate" aka "win the fight" and subsequently losing to the villain. I imagine you were probably a big fan of Sex Arcade since that was pretty focused on "using" superheroines.

somebody getting into milfs from gilfs is a wild thought, I think the opposite makes much more logical sense, I get you're trying to make a point there, but that's a bit too out there for me to acknowledge. typically from what I see of people liking NTR it's purely for the fantastic art that's often associated with it, I don't know why NTR art goes that hard but it does.

yea i was wanting for more psychological and philosophical answers as well,
but everything so far can be broken down to "i feel bad about it" and a lot of cognitive dissonance.

That's not "one" reason, you're naming an umbrella term. If you actually listen, then you will see tons of reasons. They all just arise from the fact, that the player recognizes himself as the MC.

Unlike in porn, where you can imagine that you're the guy having sex (that's why in 90% of videos the face of the guy isn't shown), a game clearly puts you into the position of a certain character. So another dude fucking your potential LI's is actually another dude, highlighted by the game with a huge spotlight, and most men don't get off by watching other dudes having sex.

Another reason is that people play porn games to be in control. They want an immersive experience, they want to be in charge. NTR works against that.

Yet another reason is that winning over a LI feels more rewarding the harder she is to get. Of course it can't be too hard, since a too slow burn will put people off, but the other extreme is a LI that would just jump on random guy's dicks. It makes it simply less rewarding to win her over, because the MC can't be special to her (in terms of that she's having sex with him to show him that).

The list goes on and on. Many different reasons. The player identifying as the MC is just the "title" of the conversation, what matters, is what comes along with this.

Maybe many people aren't really aware about the details of the why's regarding their feelings towards NTR, they just feel it without being able to explain it. But with some understanding of game design and psychology, there are a lot of reasons that can easily be identified.

Personally I dislike NTR in games on account of it not affecting me strongly one way or the other. The idea of cheating simply doesn't affect me to a great extent, so whenever I come across NTR in games its usually some boring filler story nonsense I'd like to skip through anyway.

I'd say there are multiple reason why people dislike NTR in games. For one, it's often badly written or involves tons of drugs and or rape. And for me, seeing a couple form over time through a lot of hardship is cute and fun to see.
