As a noir game, you would expect BDSM, corruption and rape to be major themes and there's a number of scenes with BDSM and prostitution. Different strokes for different folks so I get it if you're not into darker themes.

Strange. I wouldn't expect any of those from a noir game. Shootouts at hotel bars, a pointblank execution when you only see the muzzle flash in the dark in a bedroom, a man who refuses a woman's affection while drinking whiskey, sitting alone and rambling in bitterness infront of a window, broken noses, bandaged hands that got hurt due to fistfight, hookers who gave up but still hoping deep inside before they are left for dead. More whiskey. Smoking. Worn leather jackets or old trench coats over a cheap suit. These are the things i expect from a Noir. Hopeless heroes who don't win, don't save the word but die instead for principles they stubbornly followed as a code of honor in an honorless world.
