Lighting Experiment
To date have predominately using HDRI to render my images and thought it was time to expand my lighting knowledge. I've used a couple of my character models with a range of lighting setups as per the following link, kindly provided by epw14.

All images were rendered for 30 mins at 1800 x 2400 and then down-sampled to 900 x 1200.

General Thoughts:
Preferred results are from the Butterfly and Underlight setups. The HDRI lighting setup is however the fastest to converge. The Clamshell configuration looks over exposed and could likely be rectified by reducing the emission flux or through post processing (note that I already reduced the clamshell emmissive strength to 2/3 top and 1/3 bottom). The Double Back could most likely do with an additional low strength light behind the camera to reduce the shadows slightly or a low light full HDRI.

My latest model, I called her Bexley, for no other reason than I like it.....And I couldn't think of another!
As always, this and all of my other models/characters can be found here:-

Damn, I missed a trick there... I should have said I called her Bexley because she has a little 'Heath' going on down there. Probably only the English that will get that, but I found it funny!

I'm leaning toward the second, mostly due to some issues with the jeans in the first and I'm not sure I'm a big fan of the denim skirt in the third.

I always prefer a multipoint lighting rig to HDRI images. You have total control.

If you can afford it, I highly recommend " ". Don't le the title fool you. The techniques apply to still photography as well. And since all the lighting in Daz is meant to mimic real world lighting, the methodologies are directly applicable. I credit this one book for totally changing our lighting game in Daz.

What I want to know is where is this farm and when can I start working there?
