RPGM - Completed - Dark Hero Party [v1.01] [U-ROOM / Kagura Games]

As NTR enjoyer i gotta say this game is heavily overrated. Even though there are multiple endings possible, game is very linear in design, either do what you must, or just get quick bad end. Combat is dull and boring on both difficulty settings: on normal its not challenging, on hard it takes waaay to long especially on boss fights.
All of that is not very pleasing, but obviously you don't play porn games for good gameplay, right? But man, sex scenes here are designed to kill your boner. Usually in NTR games your beloved gets slutified and then she enjoys good old mating with alpha males leaving you in a dust. But not here, no, girls get constantly raped, drugged, abused, punched in stomach for no reason, there is no enjoyment involved in 90% of cases. Your MC ends up in even worse situation, cause all he does at all times is cleaning toilets and wiping the floor when he inevitably loses another combat. Nothing in this game is made to bring you any enjoyment. Its all about that sense of loss that's a gist of NTR, but on steroids, its blown out of proportions so that every other aspect of this game disappears in comparison. Even revenge part wasn't satisfying cause almost all (except 1) endings in this game suck.
Meh game.

I am not a huge fan of NTR but honestly the game itself is actually pretty good. The combat is generic RPGM (but the combat doesn't actually make the game difficult like most RPGM combat games). The story is pretty good and so is the CG.

Usually i'm not verry much in NTR, but i love the deepness of this game.
There, discrimination and corruption have an explanation and in end i felt all the characters
Usually, i just disregard the girls of such games, like weaklings fallen to lust.
But there, the characters have a true growth, for the better or the worse.

I thought it was an average game. It's 100% Ntr dispite there being 6 endings. The drawings where ok but its just images. I would say if you like ntr this is for you but not then I'm clearly saying don't play.

Just finished this. I like how the build up was just really good. It made sense where everyone ended up.

Imos was built up from the start as being weak but kept trying to be better, until the world chew him and spat him out. He tried, he really did, but he failed, and then you can see him being wishy-washy which just led him to a further hole of hatred towards everyone.

Aina knows her priorities well, even if she loves her freedom – she’s both selfish and caring, and then her freedom was taken, her purpose was taken, and she’s forced to kept giving that she really did think the world isn’t worth it. She started off being rather prideful, but by the end of it all it was trampled in the most Grecian tragedy of them all.

Lotia had everything, except courage and honesty – no matter what ending, she lost them all and only realizing how knee-deep in cowardice and delusion she was then. She lost everyone she loved, and come face to face that it was all for nothing – and probably never realized how deep it goes because she never really questioned what was told to her.

Tori is the biggest asshole of them all, but she’s always been smart and dismissive of others, at the end of it all she rationalized everything that happened in a way that made her not feel like in the wrong – she never realized how much she fucked up until the endings where everything was crumbling down.

Lastly, Kronia was a nice girl and you can say she’s blameless, but she stuck to her message of tolerance and kindness so much that even in the end when she has someone who could have righted all the wrongs, she chose to just take care of them without a care of the wider world.

Everyone else is kinda one note, but they all have a purpose and they fulfill them well. Nothing I could say about Assym that isn't already said in game. I guess one negative is that Thrash’s change can be seen as how “what bad men need is just a good woman,” which really is off how that is kinda pro-abuse considering how much gravity everything else is, but you can also say that when he met Imos again, calling him scrub first thing and then mocking him further even if his words isn’t entirely wrong if hypocritical on top of never actually stopping his comrades in any endings; only when face to face to the consequences of his action that he seemed to really change as he chose to keep silent about Imos in the Behnricht ending. You can see it as that, but the whole “bad men need good women” thing just really didn’t fit, unless again you just want to say that “sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn’t,” while pointing to the other male.

The twist was really predictable at first, until you started seeing Ending 3-6. Then you see that it doesn't actually grant Imos the revenge he wished and show just how low it all brought him down. I'm surprised that it doesn't grant you some straightforward revenge porn (in either sense of the word) but the execution of the thematic clash being setup, culminating in Behrn and Phice's clash of ideology and what they represent to be really good, no matter what real life ideas you wish to see reflected in them. Regardless, showing toxicity of the cycle and the narratives we believe in, yet also acknowledging that there really is no real solution other than trying to be balanced and not go into the extremes that any of the characters did.

My main criticism I suppose is that it is still trying to be a fetish fuel - and so there is a major contradiction with the little brother (Thum? I forgot the name) whom should not fit Phice's agenda (especially when you put him side-by-side with Imos who is better looking and is pretty strong when given the meagerest of power). On top of that, the idea of gangbangs being a thing that isn't stamped out considering how it introduces uncertainty to their agenda also isn't sensible. The lack of actual religious body governing Phice's will was also weird - if you're a divine being, and you have an agenda, it makes little sense not to have a group that is loyal to your will with zeal and loyalty. I understand that with the values Phice embodies there is naturally some really dumb contradictions, but it doesn't make any sense considering the drive they went with the rest of the characters.

All in all, it’s depressing, but overall well constructed. Too dark and cruel for me to fap to though, but I am writing this long comment at 5AM without any sleep so it does a lot of right if nothing else.

Thug Hero Party or now Dark Hero Party is pure kino, the true ending made me think about life and reflect on it, something no other eroge, hentai rpgmaker game or just any recent game has been able to accomplish. The build up and the themes and ideas that the author wanted to convey truly burst out and grab the players at the ending

Though I'm not an NTR fan in the slightest, I won't let that bias get in the way here.

The game offers you a story of a normal human villager in a world where monsters exist and supernatural chosen ones (Dracovalis) by dragons stand to oppose them and the Demon Lord. Though they fight monsters, they aren't guarenteed to be good-natured however.

Due to unfortunate circumstances the MC is tagging along along with his loved ones, some of which are Dracovalis too, to a town filled by thugs. Along the way and during his stay, the MC gets to know just how powerless he is as his loved ones get snatched away from him one after another until he finally breaks. From here it's up to the player to decide his fate, and perhaps that of the world too...

It really isn't a bad story. It comes with 6 endings too.
It didn't get me off since NTR does nothing for me, but for NTR lovers I don't see this as a problem they'll have to deal with since there's plenty of H-scenarios and a steady progression of the heriones' corruption.

As for the characters themselves: though they aren't exactly complex, it's not as if they're completely hollow. Just solid enough.

Lastly, the combat isn't tedious in my experience, but don't expect it to be as well-done as the combat in games like BLACK SOULS.

This is my short take on the game.

I have played this game some time ago, but writing an review after a good amount of time has elasped that's how heavy the game is....

This is an HEAVY NTR game and if i rate it objectively from that point the games deserve the four stars I have given(it does what it says). It has good cg, perfect op assholes, unbelievably gulibe females (who are in some way op btw) and an MC ( I don't have words to describe him, you can experience it first hand if you decide to play ). A game/story is supposed to draw out emotions out of readers/players and on that front the game does an excellent job, the only issue most of them are along the lines of frustration, despair, sadness, anger....
The game towards the end does give players a shimmer of hope for redemption/revenge and with that fueling your vigor you move forwards with the illusion its finally the mc time only to be thrown back into the same depths.

There are 6 ending for the game, one of them (no 4, i think) is somewhat good.

So after reading my short take if you feel like playing do give it a try as a heavy ntr game its a solid (heavy ntr) game, if you can purchase please support the developers (also mail them to make an ending 7 with op mc/time reverse/ ng+ with op mc...). Normally I don't mind ntr games, but my god does this take it to another level! You play as literally the biggest cuck on the planet, this is a game where even if you win the battle, you lose in the cut scene. The scenes are basically the main character (you) being forced to watch everyone you love get slam-dunked by the biggest cunt in the seven seas.

I wouldn't mind playing this game if you were not playing as one of the dumbest characters ever, just let me play as one of the female protagonists or anyone else. I'd rather play as one of the rapists tbh...

Ntr games are fun and I enjoy them a lot, but you go through the most depressing shit ever with this game, if you've heard of the infamous "177013", this is basically on the same level as that for me.

Again, I am normally a fan of ntr but this one is a bit too much for me and I know for sure it will be for other people. The main "villian" or as the other characters like to refer to him as the "hero" (Thrash), will infuriate you!

BTW, the only good ending is the 4th There is an option to go down a revenge path for the endings and they are not worth it. I Played the revenge endings thinking I would actually get revenge, but it's actually just more depressing. In one of them

OK enough joking around. This game is amazing in its own way. I've played this game before and i must say that it is a really well-made game. Here's why

Story: You are a normal, useless, pathetic guy living in a fantasy world. In this world, there are people who have really really OP power and your GF is one (with light and healing power). One day, the Demon say i want to do fantasy stuff and does what he usually does in Fantasy... and these OP heroes have to stop him. And then you and your GF go on a journey where you will get cocked. Need to say, although the story telling is really good, have connection and char development, the game is still very sad. Because you will play as a useless char, so prepare for 90% of the time... you completely useless. But don't worry.... the game has a really satisfy REVENGE ending.... so try to reach it ok. 9/10

Gameplay: It's good in its own way. Not because you are weak does it mean you are useless. You have your own strong way. It's a typical MRPG game and the combat system is good. 8/10

Music: yes... i like the music in this game. Don't know why but just love it... 8,5/10

CG: Really really good CG. They don't recycle old CG or use some cheap CG. Most of them are very quality and fappable. Yes, it worth your money!!! 9/10

Character: Everyone in the game is well-developed. They both take time to develop themselves, have time and connection with the mc. Female characters aren't sluts in the beginning, everyone have their own corruption way and that what make this game so good. What is the fun if you can not watch someone slowly falling into despair, someone slowly lose all their hope ? And this game understand it. This is one of rare time when i really feel for mc and want to help him. 10/10

So if you're looking for a good game to spend time and money on, this one is for you. However prepare your brave because you will experience hours of getting cocked. The story is good in it own way so don't worry.

i usually play ntr games because i see myself as the antagonist. but boyy this game made me really hate ntr games.. its not that its hard too play but it really gets inside you and then you feel bad and worthless its like it makes fun of the player too... its really good as a game but be warned it has hard ntr the kind of that you also feel bad for.

Pretty good if you feel like drowning yourself for the time being.

Play this if you're looking for one of the lowest of the low types of NTR or just want to discover different scenarios on what a brain dead main lead can do in his situation, Which seems enough with 5 or so endings if i remember right.

My only gripe is not being able to see the conclusion of the other characters after the ending.

Avoid if you have a weak heart.

this is not a happy game, im talking about hard feelings of despair, strong RAPE SCENES
(and not the "kya oni-chan yamette!!" kind) im talking about being in a hopeless fate.
the gamplay and story flow so well, that i actually feel bad WITH the main character.

this game TOTTALLY deserve your time and money.

For this one I'm going with the H-scenes then a short version and later some details of this peculiar experience.

H-scenes: good amount, AMAZING art, good quality but a couple of scenes are meh. The main heroine(pink hair) has the best scenes imo and I liked all of them, the others have a feeling of being too static and they have too much gangbangs for my taste, but despite that they have their great ones too (especially Aina). This is very fappable for me. Also W (default keyboard) is your best friend here.

Short version: great story, interesting characters and dialogs, good gameplay with a good of variety of skills and all of them were usefull. It has a hard mode if you want some challenge and the normal is decent, no need to grind much (in normal) and the game runs really well. Without the porn this is interesting on it's own. The game has 6 endings (4 and 6 were my favs, all of them are worth tho). Also, this shit even has a couple of custom BGM tracks, and they were pretty cool.

Details: well, I've played/watched a lot of NTR and I can say as a fact, this game is pretty unique in this genre. I usually laugh a ton in this kind of things but this one is actually sad and I loved it.

First, the mc is you classic underdog protagonist that always work hards and do his best, he has a nice relationship with the girls (who are nice too) and he always tries to change things... but here is a twist, the hard work never pays off here. Even if the mc is right and tries to do it he fails, he just have to take it. Here it's not that the mc surrenders, he FAILS, it really gives you a feeling of despair and sadness that not many games give you. You are an underdog and the world is always reminding that to you.

The girls also suffer a lot and the rape scenes are really rape scenes, they don't turn into sluts in one go. You actually can feel bad for the girls (except for Tori, lol) and this add to that feeling that I was talking before (don't worry tho, this doesn't make it less fappable).

The game has multiple endings, more than one are going to surprise you in a good way. I recommend reaching all of them, they all have some revelation and I'm saying this as someone that never does that in any game. This one is very special.

I rate this game F&F, Fun & Fappable... with some sad feelings and guilt tho hahaha. Must play imo.

This game still stands at the top among the translated NTR games for RPGM.

This is a game meant for people who truly enjoy NTR (or getting depressed). You cannot do anything about everyone close to you being stolen. There is a chance at the very end to give a big middle finger to fate and take some sweet revenge on everyone that fucked you over. But this comes at the very end of the game and I wonder how many can last through it without being a NTR fan.

Those who enjoy strong NTR content would very much enjoy this game though. It has excellent pacing and a good setting and story to go with it. The MC is actually a decent guy who we can root for. He is a weak average human that has to compete against avatar of gods with powers far above his own. He realistically cannot defeat these foes, and rightfully gets discouraged and disappointment at his lack of strength to protect his loved ones. He doesn't give up throughout the story though. He gets up again and again and tries to do the right thing. This set up is wonderfully done to make both the NTR endings and the revenge ending very satisfying. Be warned that even the degenerates mostly immune to negative emotions that arises from NTR could get absorbed in the depressing vibe.

The gameplay mechanics are fine. Standard RPGM fare. The game doesn't need any grinding because even though your character is weak as shit, your party members are usually OP to make up for it in parts where you are expected to win.

One of the best NTR games I've played.

The great structure of history, it was ensured that it contained a few additional tones for better understanding and empathy in the figure of the main character. Sensational, very exciting pictures - definitely fell into my taste in terms of both the body's shape and the scenery itself. A well-balanced combat system, which is only an addition and not the main element of the game. During the game, we are accompanied by extremely characteristic music, which enhances the atmosphere.

Oddly enough, the weakness of the game is its mechanical character - which on the background of great history and beautiful pictures falls quite average. We will not find any revolutionary ideas here to make the game more varied. There is also a shortage of interesting choices to take, they are only at the ends.

It would seem that the minuses of this game would undermine its overall value - but in my opinion, giving it a lower rating than the highest would be a mistake. If you like NTR, it's obligatory position - you just have to play it. If you do not like this element, you should still play because the scenes and pictures are just sexy.

My favorite character from the game: Aina
- why is she and not the main partner of our character? I liked the representation of her character, personality and erotic scenes more. To be honest, I was more concerned with her fate than any other female character - probably because she seemed to me the most "loyal".
Gameplay time: ~ 6-7 hours.
