The camera doesn't follow the character, it remains fixed, so I literally can't see where I am supposed to go.

Encountered a strange bug while trying to solve the Chess puzzle, first couple times i tried without succeeding, the succubus spawn fx appeared but the succ didnt spawn, eventualy, she spawned in the left side of the room,
Failed again after exiting and re-entering the room, and she spawned out of bounds.

You almost got it, I won't give it entirely away but notice that there are more than four highlighted spots, so try moving one of your pieces to a spot that might make more sense(only one of your pieces is wrong).

I've seen some ppl reporting this, but couldn't yet figure out why it happens. If she does spawn out of bounds in any other rooms, please tell me.

you need to put the amounts in the order from top to bottom as the list indicates. if you do it any other way, the game won't recognize it
