I'm confident that with 3D art, my game will only get better. After all, I won't have to adjust the storyline to fit GIFs anymore (as finding suitable GIFs is actually quite problematic), and I can fully focus on the narrative. Of course, I'll also strive to make the 3D renders themselves a more or less visually appealing, I guess you shouldn't worry about that.
There are still many real porn games here and there that I don't think it's a real problem yet. If I read correctly what they said to you, it's the context behind their use that is problematic.
Yeah, you can make whatever you want happen without restriction but that doesn't mean it will be appealing either. There are many games (2d, 3d, pixels, even ai cg recently) that are awful on the visual aspect. So it will depend on the models you choose and how good you are at doing it.

It sucks that you will have to rework everything, though I wonder how much making 3D rendered will slow down your workflow, there is always the possibility of you using something like AI art as a placeholder while you work out the actual game mechanics, that way you might not have to redo and of the renders in case something changed down the line with the story\scenes etc.
Just hope you don't lose you entire fanbase with the rework, we've enough shitty 3D games as it is.
I don't know yet how much time Daz3D will take on me. I remember when i was working with honey select, I had to spent about 15-25 minutes to make a full render. So i really hope that i will need about the same time with this graphic editor as well.
Well I'm not sure that someone will be willing to play this version after the next one will be released (even if the next one will be only a shitty remake of the original game), but anyway i don't lose anything if i will do so. So i guess that's an option.

Use subscribestar, or if you still want to use Patreon just put the relations to a default (mom to landlady, sister to roomate) then in the first screen of the game let the player change these. There are games on f95 using patreon and doing similar things your game does, just check how they are bending the rules.
May be it's a reliability\payment share % thing for the dev, they clearly want it to be a somewhat dependable sources of income which is understandable. Just spitballing here I don't know if the payment structures for the two sites is comparable etc. also I think the payment options on subscribestar are limited e.g. not being linked to paypal etc.
Any chance you have an update? Just on progress and how things are going. Maybe a render if you got anything on that front yet?
To not bother you with all the details I'll just say that I believe I found a way to fuck off all the patreon and other payment services that dont apreciate rough NSFW stuff and make my game however I want. Not sure how much time I still need for all of that to work properly but I'm working on it, not abandoning.
I appreciate your honesty but it sounds like you've lost sight on what the project meant to you and turned it into a cash cow. The fact people loved your game and you're willing to throw away a working formula because you want money makes you look pretty bad as a content creator.
