It's definitely a false positive, McAfee is a garbage "anti-virus". It's one of the worst if not the worst thing out there out of all anti-viruses. It identifies pretty much everything as a virus. It's so fucking shit. I also don't know if it's still the case today but it also used to be notoriously hard to uninstall.


The damn thing is so trash that the creator of McAfee made a funny video roasting the software. He may have been batshit insane but he wasn't wrong about McAfee being garbage.
