Unless you have a graphics card with a lot of VRAM you can say good bye to scenes with a lot of people in them. You have to use reduced polygons on them, reduced textures. And even than, it's a hassle.
If billboards don't look good enough, you have to use canvases and render only the interacting characters at a time. A lot of work.

Also, for an indoor night lit scene, if you want good, quality renders it takes at least tens of minutes to render.

For Blender and UE you can also easily use render farms if you want. They are not expensive and can improve your work time a lot. For Daz, I read there are farms that can work with it but I don't know anyone who actually managed to use them properly.

So yes, if you can use anything else except daz for your renders, go for it.
