We are talking on a new Patreon acquisition so I think we should watch out about what we say... Freedom is limited. Anyway you could also on your discord account share a patch for your subscriber like other dev
Unfortunately, they also check discord.
If I'm not too busy, and if the Subscribestar migration doesn't work out, I might look into a patch in the future. But no promises tho.

I've created a poll on my Patreon to see if my subscribers are willing to migrate to Subscribestar.
Ultimately it's up to them, as they are the ones supporting the game's development.

Alternatively, if my does manage to reach the "taboo content" goal I've set, then I will go ahead and post the taboo content on Subscribestar.
Okay, lets place ourselves in the hypothetical shoes of the original supporters that payed for the original vision of the game like this for a sec.
You are passionate about a thing and payed a sum total of something between 50 and 250$ over the 4+ years, maybe more if you are well off or have it hit all the right spots when it comes to promises, only to one day learn that original vision of the game that you funded is axed and the only way to get it back on track is to hope that an arbitrary goal on another platform is reached and wait patiently for a about a year to get to that special "will be in 3 updates from now" content that you was the most excited about.
Sounds nice, fair, and more importantly, totally trustworthy. Its not like they already payed for the promise of the stuff they wanted for years, only to get the carpet yanked right from under them.
Or that, in cases when there is an actual care about satisfying those customers from creators, as well as about preserving the original vision - a taboo patches of misterious origin suddenly appear in the mod sections of sites like f95 free of charge, or at the very in the cheaper tiers of a payed section on other platforms where creator wishes to migrate, without prerequsites.

I rest my case. I personally was duped in simmilar manner few times too many over the years, and I feel pity for those that are still fooled into paying via bait and switch tactics like I belive I curently observe now, only to get the content they payed for - outright denied. Or in this specific sneaky case - put to an additional arbitrary vote made to put into a question the very nescessity to a deliver a more controversial part of what was promised as a part of roadmap for 4 years straight. Considering that on average you need at leat half of the curent 130 subscribers to migrate, and that for the last two years updates catered more to drama lovers and not the spookie rapey story enjoyers, i kinda doubt that creator expected anything but to get the outcome he will get at this rate, hence afer all there years the number of tags wanished from sthe game all of the suddent.
Moral of the story, one shoud always wait until the content you are interested in to actually appear in the game before supporting it with any cash.

Or am I actually wrong about you and you also made an effort to advertize refunds as an option for those that suddenly did not get the promised content due to no fault of their own? You know, kinda like the place that serves food that suddenly ran out of stake and offered refunds for said stakes, instead of serving salad and then claiming that it was the choice of a customer and if they want more they can always order another truck and wait for it.

One shoud always wait until the content you are interested in to actually appear in the game before supporting it with even 1$.

I have no idea what you're talking about.
My goal has always been to make a game I love and something that others can appreciate.
People who have played the game and support me have so far have a pretty good idea of what that goal is, and nothing has changed in that regard.

That is what my supporters are backing, not whatever made-up promise you're thinking of.
Like every other early access game, things can, have, and always will change, the friggin game was a top-down 2D RPG in version 0.1, would you say I made a promise then?
Jeez... the overall goal and how I get there is set in stone. Although I will take user feedback along the way. No one cares about 2 or 3 taboo scenes that can easily be implemented in a tasteful way that doesn't violate any of Patreon's TOS.

You really have no idea how the creator/patron relationship works.

Case and point, all the votes in the poll so far want me to continue on Patreon, so....

Is it not a possible solution to make an "unofficial" patch to bypass Patreon restrictions?

You went four years without delivering on even a single advertized rape scene until the people that were interested in them originally gave up and dropped the support. You went more with drama/relationship part of the story and those people remained and grew in numbers. Doesnt really change the fact that you esentially cut out part of the road map that was shown in the tags, or that the reason the vote ended up being one sided is because you didnt deliver to the side that would vote for taboo for years. Its kinda like starving the opposition in certain city builder simmulators and then get voted in on another term cause they all are dead

Even still, id probably be way less pissy about such bait and switch tactics, if it wasnt for your decision to paywall content that was promised originally via tags, as a subscribe star DLC feature that basically requires people that got cucked out of what they were waiting for 4 for years to support you en mass again before you even allegedly start to work on those again.
I dodged the bullet by deciding to wait until you actually start with taboo content back in the 2021 when i first decided to try your game out, almoust went for 3d patreon tier back than since I kinda liked the setting, but thanktfully decided to wait until you actually show some action. Saved myself 200$ by sticking to that decision up until you shown your hand and very smug and proud about it
:giggle: good day.

I love how all your facts are literally just spawning from your ass lmao.

At the end of the day, I know you're still gonna play my game lol.
But hey, you win some you lose some.

I see. I hope it didn't kill the story.
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
If I'm wrong, and it's simply a non-consensual sex scene (eg. sleeping sex), that's not my cup of tea.
I assure you it's not gonna affect the story in any way whatsoever.
You will be experiencing the story as I've planned it since day one, just with the taboo in 2 or 3 scenes toned down

Okay, I'll give you a vote of confidence. (You could really add a skip function to the mini-game, though.) I like story-based games, the porn part doesn't really interest me. But what does toned down mean?

This is a response I gave earlier about a similar inquiry.

The best I can do is to imply a scene like that occurred or is about to occur then cut away.
I just wouldn't explicitly show it on screen.

Yes, I remember, I just thought you'd come up with a slightly more... elegant solution. Sorry, I can't put it better.
Look:

There is no gore, technically we don't see anything rough, but it works. You're good with music, with the right music accompaniment you can probably create something similar. I prefer it to the "girl enters shower, killer comes in (cut) girl is dead" solution. Of course, I don't know what the Patreon rules allow...

I've also thought of that.
I'll cross that bridge when I get to it, right now there's a million things on my to-do list for the next coming weeks.
But like I mentioned, it's a very small part of the game and it works with how I currently have it planned out, no need to worry about it.

Check on discord too is disappointment. I'll look forward for that patch and I hope you'll have time to move on more open beaches
