That's a pretty strict paental control if can't even type a mane on google. And remember, Ann is in charge of parental control, not Eric. And as for the same for weed, the game would have marked somewhere that we checked. This is a major plothole
Its quite possible though that the name itself means nothing if you google it, but the surname might ring a bell to the mother or Kira, or even her work. Perhaps he was connected to the kidnapping in some way. Or perhaps the fact that he's using a fake identity in work might make the mother suspicious, or at least curious,.. and SHE might raise questions that causes them to split, or him to sack her to protect his job. For example, Eric's true identity might be as an employee of the company's main competitor. Its not written in stone anywhere that Max will google the name and everything should magically be in his hands because that would be far too easy, and that could have easily have been coded into 0.4. I'd expect that further pushing is needed.

Ann isn't gonne do anything against Eric even if you show her the fake ID! It doesn't bother her seen him jerking of at night in front of Alice room or even let Eric convince her of being watched during sex! It all depends on Max
