I want to report 2 things:
1. The download is missing the _Artemis.sh file that Linux users need to start the game normaly
2. The game freezes after V´s cam show, but that could be the hack I had to use because of 1.

I really like the story so far, has been interesting. I hope the story stays focused on the ethics behind creating an AI and the impact it would have, and the MCs relationships vs building him back up.
I have a bad feeling its going to head into the cliche where cassandra will get some information on the roomate and force the MC to do something like move out / abandon her and we are going to have several chapters of the MC getting over her again only to realize the roomate is what he needed all along. I really hope it avoids that but we will see.

Uh, I don't think that's likely, Kindra is so loved (deservedly so) and Cassandra is hated so vehemently (deservedly so) he'd lose like 95% of his player base.

i dont quite get the drama around KoKo, cant you just backup all the data and the code she had, let body "die" and then synthesize formula when KAI stops acting like a little bitch, fix the body and then just load backup in a new body?

We don't really know how she works, but her power source is this experimental fluid thing. She doesn't have physical ports and connects wirelessly for uploads and such.
Given that information, it's conceivable she is too low on power for an upload and could be lost if she "bleeds out", with no way to recover her data.
She has done at least 2 body transfers after all. I doubt MC or especially KK would be as freaked out and worried if they could simply pop her hard drive back into Koko Mk 2.

well, given that Kinda who isnt an IT specialist uploaded code onto new platform aka Koko 2.0 means there is a way to transfer data to body and i think its safe to assume that there is gotta be some restore points or backups from previous years of Koko's existence, i get that restoring brain thingy is gonna be hard, but still, you can store Koko's personality till its done, but oh well maybe its that kind of a situation

Oh yeah! If it comes down to it, it's possible the ...I dunno, "partition"(?) of Koko MC uploaded into Artemis might come into play. Maybe it wasn't completely scrubbed or something.

So I studiously avoided any spoilers related to the "cliff hanger" until I played to it. I actually don't see the ending that way in the least. Cassandra has no leverage over the MC or Kindra. No leverage at all. She's positioned herself as an opponent, but she has nothing to bring to the table. Neither the MC nor Kindra has any reason to interact with her. So her "we have to talk" is only her desire, nothing more. It's hard for dark clouds to gather when one of those who are supposedly under threat is an established billionaire with a fully realized infrastructure. Cassandra's resources are completely eclipsed by Kindra's. Especially since Cassandra doesn't actually control those resources and her access to them is conditional.
Lots of cute and engaging women in this VN, but in the end Kindra is exactly who the MC needs.

It's not the code that's the issue. It's the synthesized fluid that powers the body. It was a special formula Kindra's mother created and it's not in the system to be replicated. At least that's what I got out of the story. That's why June is being called. She's the one doing all the chemistry/pharmaceutical manipulations.

yeah, but Koko worked well before that liquid was a thing, so i think that this liquid is required for body to function and not for brain. And i still think that it would be possible to store "brain" until body is repaired, but maybe there is just no backup for brain and now time for repair is running out.
I'm thinking one or more of the following:
1. MC is going to be a pussy and break down just because he hears her speak.
2. Cassandra's company is going to send thugs to kidnap MC or one of the girls.
3. Cassandra's company is going to steal their technology.
4. Cassandra's company is going to use a combination of lies, bribery, and litigation somehow.

Based on how Cassandra's relationship with the company is, I wonder how much resources she would have to pull this off even if they really need it for the company especially if Cassandra does something malicious to gain leverage. That also questions how much time and resources are they going to be willing to pump into Cassandra to help her manipulate MC and Kindra to help her when they are already burning resources on Hunter.

I understood the situation totally different. As I understood, the code will not be lost but Kindra does not have the ability to repair the frame/body (give it a power source). Both MKII and MKIII use the liquid that her late mother developed (presumably some kind of battery) but Kindra does not know how to make more, and I presume that the processing power of MKI is no longer able to run the evolved AI code of MKII and MKIII. They have the code but they lost the platform to run it.
Now the way that Kindra reacted, I saw it as she regarding Koko as her real dog. I mean she more or less only had Koko before the MC arrived.
I think you are right. At this point she only has deception and blackmail left. She has already burned bridges with her boy toy, his boy toy's father (the owner of the company and certified motherfucker) and Reina. If her character is written as the real life people like her that I have met, the deeper in shit they are the more high and mighty they act.
At this point I am just getting ready for her long and grueling fall from the top. As UncleFredo already said she is just grasping at straws with her last call because her only leverage is MC's feelings.
