Moderate experience. Sometimes you can see some waky stuff with map, but in general, nothing that horrible. Sadly enemies got only one type of animation. But still worth a try. Solid 4\5

    5/5 Horror/Erotic game!
    Gameplay-

    ☑ Okay
The gameplay is simple, but can be a little rough at times.
You shoot/hit monsters, they try to rape you, that's it!

    Graphics-
    ☑ (s)Excellent
Love the quality and game over screen that this game has. If you're into monster over girl, you will have a great time!

    Audio
    ☑ Great!
You can tell the audio is a little outdated, but holds fine against time.
It goes pretty well with what's on screen, and the MC voice is pretty Good!

    Difficulty-
    ☑ Challenging
The game requires you to react quick, and some bosses and areas are quite hard. There are cheats in case you want an easier time tho

This is probably the best rape-on-defeat scroller until today. It's perfectly balanced: challenging, but not hardcore, and more importantly it captures atmosphere of the survival horror really well. Despair and always present danger are defiantly there, and survival through it is very rewarding.

It's a rare case of hentai game I would play even without any hentai. Good h-animations are cherry on top.

Please, purchase Anthophobia, author definitely deserved support.

Cool animations, and promising gameplay, but a way to slow. And also too hard I would say. I couldn't reach the end without cheats, so I gave up. Maybe later there is some good content, but because of the speed, I probably won't know.

Decent scenes, but this gameplay is honestly some of the worst I've ever had to get through in any ero-game, ever. The player is CONSTANTLY trapped by annoying enemies over and over again, to the point where you just start running through everything. However, as you get later in the game, enemies start showing up that won't let you run past or jump over them, forcing you to fight through waves of boring, meaningless enemies and waste an absurd amount of time with the tedious and mind-numbing "combat".

The controls are sluggish, the hits barely seem to connect or do anything, and even with cheats the game is an unbearable slog. It's just bad.

This is actually a fairly nice game despite how weird the story got at the end. The lore is sound and the 2D animations are great. The monster list is diverse and quite creative, which helps it succeed where other games fail, imo. The game over art per monster type is also especially nice. Overall, easily recommended and I hope there are more games like it out there.

The only real thing I wish it had was more things to do. Like I said, the lore and art direction is well done enough that it feels like a crime that it's limited by the game's fairly simple gameplay. Has potential to be so much more.

The default difficult of this game is set on hard (the highest difficulty)... I've said enough lol. No seriously, why? I'm trying to enjoy your invention, game developer, not to hate it. This is a rage game. I've just completed hard mode and the final boss was absolutely disgusting. You have to know his every pattern to win. I hate to play games on easy and i like to play them on default difficulty as well. If you can't handle rage games, don't play this. It also contains some gory stuff for those who hate that. The MOST frustrating thing for me in this game (and i know i'm not the only one) was the reloading. Like... Is she fucking dumb or does she fucking not realize she's in a fucking zombie apocalypse !!! Sigh... Let me calm down. The game is a side scrolling survival horror game. It has some interesting lore and atmosphere. The sprites are pretty varied and the sounds as well which is good. Its length is about 3 to 4 hours on first playthrough (based on hard mode). However, the game doesn't explain you about important stuff like: The zombie girl can regen your health by pressing 'E' or about the 3rd boss... The fact that you have to make it walk on his own traps for it to turn into his second form and then hit his head. I literally spend like 15 mins trying to kill his first form and then realized you have to make him step on his own traps first. Cryptic shit if you ask me, i'm not a fan of those. Other than that, cool game. I would recommend on hard to someone i hate though lol

    Should you play this game
    Yes!

    Is it a good game?
    Very much so!

    Can it get annoying ?
What'd you expect of a Survival-Shooter game? Of course, but in a good way.

    But ultimately, is it fun?

Definitely, if you're up for a challenge, and some good story you have to play this, of course eroticness included.

Now, for an in depth explanation. Primarily, you might want good sex scenes, well then this definitely has good sex scenes, but this game shines more on the gameplay, story, as well as the sex scenes you might see.

This game isn't typical story telling, unlike a visual novel, you get your story through few visual novel scenes, but get a lot while playing the game, hearing through an interactive object, which you'll find out.

The game has elements you're looking for, Survival, Horror, Suspense, and of course eroticness.

Yeah, this is a hard game, but that's what makes it good.

Download the game, it's fun, if that's what you're looking for, as well as a challenge.

This one is worth a look, the animations are great, the story is original. The gameplay is enjoyable, and nothing about the game feels broken or unfair.

Not even the trees, and if you played it and get stuck there, there is a trick.

This was a really great game. I enjoyed the mechanics a lot more than I initially thought I would, and the sex added a nice flavor that I really appreciated. One of the few games where I spent a ton of time on the final boss and was glad to have done so. Neither too long nor too short, you'll be glad you tried this game.

Survival horror is perfect for an H-game, flowers only make it better. Really enjoy the pixel art and its punishing difficulty (with the option to tone it down if it's too oppressive). Added bonus for making the yuri with the female cat plant zombie quite cute.

From gameplay perspective its a 2d side scroller. You can jump, run, shot and beat enemies to death using rusty water pipe. Additionally you have molotov coctails and glowsticks, but they are very situational and, mostly, useless.
Also you have several clothes pieces which works as armor. Each enemy attack tear down one clothe piece. And you also can strip down one piece to replenish some health (around 1/10 or 1/7 of max health).
Mostly you just walk from left to right and shoot everything. Sometimes you are stumble upon closed door and need to backtrack a little to find key.
That all about gameplay. So dont expect from it some depth, game have slightly different aim.

There is even some kind of plot. In short, humanity are down by some "non generic zombie virus". Main difference from "generic zombie virus" is that it have some relation to plants, so infected humans have some quirks of/looks like plants.
Heroine is a very bad thing, my brother died because of this shit, dont do drugs kids are hid for 3 months in some building after have world collapsed. Now shes out of supplies and need to find new shelter because spring is coming, whatever that mean.
    And thats it.

Graphics are simple but good. By simple I mean its have only minimum amount of details on objects to figure out what it is, and to not looks cartoonish.
Amount of details on levels is big, here and there lie some boulders, trash, corpses, etc. So there are no impression that you wander around bland similar looking corridors.
Sex sprites are good but...to simple for my taste. But there are lot of different scenes, starting from vanilla rape and ending on some mind control stuff. Also here and there on the levels are placed non interactive sprites of womans copulated with plant-like monsters.

So it simple in concept game, nothing too special. It still worth playing.
If it would have something like fencing on two meter long dicks, sniping fire with milk from gigantic boob, battle of the giant cum monster against giant condom monster, a LOT of michael bay explosions, something memorable and special aka WOOOOOOOOOOW moments, the game would be much better.
I mean, the only memorable thing from the entire game is a boss fight in storage room flooded with milky looking liquid, probably cum. Other parts of a game are easily forgettable. Which is a shame, it have some potential.

Love this game, little bit difficult but addictive. Side scroller game with some good h-scenes. Similar to "Parasite in City" in a few ways, good ways. Would advise playing using two hands if you can ;P

Nice looking game, with a littlebit of plot (if i'm not mistaken) which is not about porn (even if game has it), it's a hard survival action game, with normal gameplay. sound and good graphics. In some places difficulty is frustrating, but not impossible ot beat. Anyway it's a nice game and I can recommend it to play

Very hard game but very rewarding. I wish it was updated more. If you are only here to play this game for H-Scenes and the Gallery then I recommend you to not get frustrated. Cheat codes didn't work for me but didn't change the games overall feel.

This game is easily one of the better H-games that I've played. Other reviewers have largely explained why already - solid gameplay that's technically competent with just the right amount of survival-horror clunk, decent enemy variety, good worldbuilding through the artwork and limited cutscenes, and some solid art in general.

However, there is one thing I wanted to point out here as especially good, compared to other sprite-sex games that I've played - Anthophobia does sprite sex better than... probably any other game that I've seen, for three major reasons that are kinda linked:

The first reason is the transition into sex. Specifically, Anthophobia generally has them. Rather than, say, the player entering a knocked-down state, and then the enemy magically appearing in the sex pose when they get near enough, enemies will actually grapple with, knock down, or otherwise engage with the heroine in one smooth, natural(ish)-looking motion. I do believe there are edge-cases where the player may "die" outside of a sex move, and that might cause a little bit of jank when an enemy does get close enough to initiate sex, but for the vast majority of the time where that doesn't happen, it's so much better.

The second, related, point, is that the heroine tends not to remain static in these scenes, even outside of that transition. Again, to make a comparison with other games, when the heroine is put in a sex pose - say, just getting fucked missionary-style - she'll stay in that position for most of the scene, maybe moving back and forward a little with the thrusting, and that's about it. With Anthophobia, the heroine tends to struggle until she's at least partially beaten (i.e. when an attack fully drains her Stamina but she hasn't "died" yet), at the bare minimum. With smaller enemies, she often tries to walk or get away from them. Medium enemies frequently manhandle her, flipping her over and moving her position. Larger enemies do buck the trend and head towards some more static scenes, but others really take it up a notch, yanking and throwing the heroine around, or running away with her. It's something that I really don't see in many games, but works well here, especially with the horror theming - rather than a simple, meek surrender like most heroines offer up, she continues to fight until overwhelmed, and the involuntary moving around serves to emphasize just how overwhelmed she is.

Third are the multi-stage scenes. Practically every scene has some significant change in it, not even counting variations for the attack continuing once the heroine's beaten. Even the basic zombie goes from an over-eager rubbing of his cock against her stomach, to sex while holding her half in the splits, to something approaching a piledriver. Some of the later enemies really get into it, even alternating between hurting and healing the heroine. It really gives a sense of escalation and, outside of one scene in one game, I don't think I've ever seen progression like that within a single attack. Note that I'm not talking about an enemy having a variety of attacks (in fact, I think almost all enemies only have the one), though, but progression within a single attack.

Now, obviously, I don't just want to dunk on other games. I get why others may not do transitions or handle stuff differently. But personally - especially considering the genre - this makes the game stand head-and-shoulders above other H-games in general. I'm really looking forward to see what SourJelly does next, because if it's as good as this, it's another must-buy for me.

Anthophobia means - fear of flowers. The story is set in a post apocalyptic world where plant like zombies have taken over. Your only objective is to survive.

The game has great pixel art and animations and overall flow of it is amazing. I had fun with this one for quite some time. I would rate this as one of the best side scroller games i've ever played and also this would come in my top 5 games of all time for sure. The creator of this game goes by the name SourJelly and he has done an amazing job with this game. I am looking forward to Anthophobia 2.0 which is set to release in a few months time. Kudos to him.

    Hook:
This is the best action-sidescroller smut game I’ve ever played.

    Best:
The gameplay and polish are top notch. The shooting, movement, and exploration are challenging and rewarding. It’s fun to see how well you can do while playing with one hand ‘occupied.’
The girl MC is bodacious and there is a tantalizing clothing destruction system worked into the gameplay.
The enemy pin attacks are hot and the game over CG and animations are double hot. (IE, your PC will get r*ped a lot).
There are fucking boss battles in this game (!) , and they are pretty awesome.
The voices, sounds, and story plot are decent.

    Meh:
The level design can get a bit confusing in places. I got stuck a few times because I missed a small key or button or similar.
The enemies are damage sponges on normal and hard, so I play on easy.

    Worst:
The game resolution is fixed to 800 x 600, so you must change you monitor resolution accordingly to make the action big enough to see.
