RPGM - A New Dawn [v4.4.4] [WhiteRaven]

I cant seem to get behind this game. I've been trying pretty off and on for 6 months, maybe more. I like the idea of unlocking the bad ends and then being able to continue but unfortunately several routes that you can choose to take early on aren't even completed and its been that way sense the first day I played, the slave route being the biggest in my mindset, a few scenes, very badly rendered dreams, no clear notion of how to get every scene unless you download the walk through, and no way to complete it at all, literally never been retouched upon sense the first day I started playing it and its one of the earliest routes. How hard is it to take an update to finisb an early in game route especially if it potentially leads to a bad end unlock. At the very least work on the quest section to keep you up to date step by step and when you can no longer unlock anything in their have it say end of current content for version. Easy shit that can be done to improve it and just doesnt get done. I dont know how much the creator cares about the game but doesn't seem like much. Dont be like EA. Dont release a game without fixing the broken content knowing full well its broken. And if you do dont ignore it, fix it. Hope you look at these reviews and take stuff into consideration because I want to like this game, as of now though, I dont see that happening.

The game is great. The normal plot explains the harsh reality even being rich at any moment, it may still fail and have to get out like that but to survive in the harsh Miri at GH. The main character for the sake of himself and for search and rescue of the Mother is even the most serious steps and all for the sake of their survival . LET's hope that the game will continue to develop.
(( I want more scenes and it would not hurt to at least chuchut expand the world of the game so that the world became a little more alive.)

i love RPGM games and this game so cool.
i like the Monsters and creatures and i like the animation work.
and the storyline is so great, Sometimes the game moves a little slowly but is worth every moment of play

Could be a good interesting game, wouldnt there be a lot of game breaking bugs. More content, more bugs. Seems like they will never get fixed. Too bad.

@virgin fans: She is a virgin but it seems like it has no affecting in the game. In one scene she gets fucked like hell but in the next scene she is a virgin.

First things first
Pro:
-The game idea is pretty good: Young ,sexy virgin comes to town and things went downhill. Nice Corruption.
- Very good, detailed Graphics and Animations

Con:
-The overall pacing is way off. A better structure would be nice
-The quest system is barely there. Would be better to nudge MC towards Quests
-Huge Con: very grindy ( and i like grinding. but not to this extend)
and repetetive. Would be better if you could choose to skip already seen scenes

I wonder how the heck this "game" managed to gather so many patreons. Dang it - it's sooo buggy, characters are soo stupid, gameplay is sooo confusing and development's soooo slow... Oh, and english is quite bad and "robotic", and i'm saying this as a non native english speaker :v

Some ideas are well made and hot, but they are not worth playing this...

So, if you like dumb, bad written characters, confusing gameplays, robotic language lots of GRINDING, playing games with tons of bugs, then this game is just for you If not, just don't download it. There are quite a lot of good ones on this site, that deserves more.

The story is quite nice that's why I give it 3 stars.

I just can't look at it. The render quality is pretty bad. Everything looks pretty plain and cheap. There are also some bugs that crash the game. Having to save every 3 minutes isn't fun.

This game... Oh, how I love and hate it at the same time.

I like the story, I like how your choices make a difference, how the corruption of the main character feels "slower" than in any other games (feels less forced because of this) and I SPECIALLY like how MC dreams about things that are happening (or about to happen) in her life, not just something random, and that affects her slightly. Oh, and the renders are quite good. MC specially looks great in almost every scene. Secondary characters are usually more generic looking, but there's very little to complain here. And BTW, I really like how MC's pussy isn't completely shaved and childish-looking, and her features are not exaggerated like in many games like this.

But man, there are some things that really grinds my gears here. I won't even complain about the bugs (there are MANY), since the game is still being made. Instead, I'll complain about the major issue I have with it: the grinding.

Grinding in a porn game sounds like a good idea at first, but it won't take long for you to notice how annoying this is. Sucking cocks to get money and making her better at it sounds interesting, but after doing it 100 times, you just don't feel like seeing that anymore. It becomes annoying instead of exciting.

And then there's other major problem with this game: the animation. I'll be honest: I don't really care for smooth animations in porn games. I rather see a sequence of images. But that's subjective, and I understand that some people DO like them. What is NOT subjective is that, now allowing us to skip them makes the game annoying. To make matters worse, each animation plays twice, and most scenes have up to 3 different animations. So sucking a cock means you'll see a 6 seconds animation twice, then the next animation twice, then the next animation twice again. And you can't skip that!

At the end of the day, however, I DO like the game, and I'm always looking forward to updates. But this game could be better if it was less frustrating. The grinding could be alleviated with a few minor tweaks. The animations should be skipable without skiping the entire scenes (dialogues and stuff).

I love this game. The speed of the buildup of the story is good, the possibilities are not always as clear but this forum and the saves in the game help. It is nice the game has several alternates ends which don't result in a complete loss of progress but are more like a bonus feature.
Except for an occasional crash the game runs fine.
Most annoying thing is the tax-man. After a while this part of the story doesn't develop anymore and only becomes a waste of time (and money ;-) ).

greatly enjoyed the game. The "overhead view" or graphic style seems simple but the sexual scenes are good enough to make up for it. Overall this game has one of the better stories of any I have played for awhile. The character slowly changes for sure. I have gone back and tried different choices and paths several times. Currently I like seeing how far I can get her into deviancy while still being a virgin. Takes some loading back at times. Was trying to figure out how to get her into anal without losing virginity but no luck yet. Either way the character is fun and I am enjoying the game and its updates.

It's fun and have a lot of good animations, but the game plot is confusing and can thow you off and it have some bugs so you can't move on, on your save so you have to start over again. but overall it is great and give some hours of good gaming

Whoring the protagonist is the best genre out here and this game has efficiently done that .

dont forget to save very often and on new slot because the dev has to forget that not everyone uses the walkthrough and that it does not think much about what it does

The game is fantastic but only problem is it is too buggy and is often disturbing

1. This game is extremely grindy: you have to do the same stuff again and again and again, watching the same sex scenes a ton of times wich makes them very annoying and not exciting by the end.
2. The progression is not well done, sometimes you don't know what to do, you have to do weird tricks to triggers scenes by checking the walktrough.
3. Some scenes are looking extremely bad, the facials animations are looking hideous/ridiculous and even some sex scenes are absolutely terrible, like the anal scene with the client in the brothel... wtf is this exactly the MC's ass looks like an 70 years old grammy
4. Characters are stupid af, story is not interesting
5. It's buggy, more buggy than any other games it's actually insane. SImple thing like the dev added the possibility to serve tables in a bar, but once you served all the tables and want to end your shift: you can't. So you can't go out and you are basically stuck. You can also dance, but once the dance is over the game is stuck on the last image of the scene and you are also.... stuck.
Also many times the game can't handle you skipping text during scenes, so the game just crash and you lost your progress.
6. The devellopement of this game is really slow for who know what reason, slow conent updates, bugs are remaining.

Like are you kidding me there is nothing impressive from a technical standpoint, actually is the most basic RPGM game ever and you still manage to make is buggy as hell ?

MAY 2021 UPDATE:

It blows my mind that the dev behind this shit is getting payed almost 3000$ for this abomination of a "game". Since I made my inital review over 2 years ago no significant progress has been done: it's still a complete broken mess with different branches ending being stuck or breaking each others because the dev is such a fucking dummy that he never think "if I give the player x option knowing that there is already y and z options, what is going to happens if they colide with each others ?"

So yeah, the whole design of this game is awfully bad because it basically keep splitting in different branches that needs to be worked on separatly which requires a lot of extra work, so obviously they are all incomplete, and they will surely remain incomplete for ever judging by the rate and quality of theses updates because the dude doesn't even fucking try. He's litteraly adding animations to old parts of the game that doesn't even matter for fuck sake, who gives a shit about the tax man getting new animations ?

But that's not it: dogshit dialogues and story, 0IQ characters, totally outdated looking renders and animations, tidious grind for no reason and obviously more bugs than you will ever see in a RPGM game. There is litteraly nothing good about this mess and the man behind it doesn't seem to care at all. This is just the greatest money grab ever on Patreon.

Yes sorry I'm pissed off, because the dude is basically getting payed 3000 dollars to produce 2 or 3 terrible animations a month (at best, this is litteraly peak performance for him). How is that a thing while in the meantime there is devs actually doing great games that are bug-free, with significant amount of content and regular updates payed half that amount, sometimes even less.

I really don't understand how this game can have such high reviews.

It is quite unplayable without a walkthrough. It suffers from a severe lack of hints concerning the game mechanics, like the taxes system. The jobs are either non existant (just waith 5 seconds before a black screen) or boring by design, like the tavern wench one. Overall I had the impression to play a classic Russian grinding game.

If i want to see some images while following a walkthrough, i'd better play a linear Ren'Py game so that I wouldn't have to suffer through the abysmal controls of RPGMV. The rather average renders won't be enough make me endure this either.

Well, there is not much here to enjoy... It's a shame though, because I guess this game required quite some work, and the setting was promising.

The best fantasy style game i played here (and i tried almost every). Animations and renders are improving and getting longer with every update and there are even different routes to follow. I can just recommend supporting that game.

love this game, and by the simple fact that u can grow bigger boobs, bimbo transformation, and can become a slave for a goblin, it rocks, the art is pretty sexy, coruption is good, and with dreams influenting the action, it's quite fun, crazy and funny ideas, jut love it

Loved how it included the Walk-through, because it helped a lot when i was playing the game and got stuck at a part or just in general wanted to know what to do. I would totally recommend this thread to someone who is wanting to play the game or who is currently playing the game.

To be honest, I just look at the CGs or download other people's saves. But that said, I still love this game. I can't say much about the gameplay, but the sex scenes are top notch! I've been following this game for months now, and there hasn't been a disappointing update yet.
