'Blind Girl', reworked and rerendered to get more of what I was aiming at first time around:

(still trying to get the whole post-processing chain under control)
I would love. to hear about this chain.
Also your lighting setups are looking interesting. Maybe you could write a short tutorial for one of your projects?

Still playing with the post-chain:

(not so sure about 'single solid colors' / prefer a combo of warm/cold lights ...)

I would love. to hear about this chain.

Once I figure out a process that looks good'ish, I'll whip up some tuts (currently the chain is a growing collection of scruffy notepads covered with illegible scribbles).

My lighting is just the (key, fill, rim / all emissive lights) with a HDR map thrown in for good measure, though most times I just use a fill light with a reflector off camera, a rim light (maybe a few), and a HDR environmental light (sometimes I ditch the HDR). I also generally follow some lighting conventions like , , and randomness when I'm experimenting ;)

Great render, been playing around with low light and harsher shadow myself so i know this took a little more thought than is obvious, a little grainy perhaps but better than i can do currently, really inspiring me to open daz up again and get some lighting done, great job.

Excellent work. I'll definitely pick those up. Having worked with those before, you think it would be possible to adjust the height of the grass by dropping it partially below the ground plane? Just curious because I could find a lot of uses for this.
Yes you can play around with the grass from the old barn a bit as long as your ground is flat, or very close to it. It covers a large area and you can scale it or simply move it easily. It also comes in a "summer" and "fall" version which is handy. The props from the red rock canyon are very easy to work with, they just "patches" of grass, not a giant area like the old barn grass.

There are plenty of other grass assets out there though, depending on what kind of grass you want and some of them look awesome.

Edit: ConfusedBeard used the same old barn in his lumberjack so you can see how the grass looks from other angles in his picture:

without postwork looks better, the hair and the pose is great, but levitation of anal tube real scary;)
Corrected the floating anal toy (have not pay attention the first time), also reworked the colors of the scene (postwork - I find them more realistic) and worked on the shape of her genitals (also find them more realistic)...
... I am pretty proud of the result if you compare it with the first version I posted ...

So, uh... been doing something else again (funny enough, even though takes a lot of time between one render and another, I'm starting to have some fun in doing this) and this is the result

If you're wondering why the first one looks better than the second, I'm starting to think that my computer might be not good enough with rendering "detailed environments"..

I've had a very bad week, (within a very subpar year) so I created this to help myself cope and wanted to share it. I've already put it on my deviant page, so might as well post it here as well. And honestly, this happened totally by accident. The quote, the symbolism in the image, everything just came together perfectly for me.

Honestly one of my favorite pictures right now. Simple, yet telling.
