@Davidreiter : There is literally nothing left in this game from the previous versions, so the preview images in the OP no longer have any relevance. The game comes with the images already accessible, so swapping out a few should be easy enough.
Not sure why the dev decided to COMPLETELY redo his game. The previous version had a lot of fun paths to explore and some really good possibilities to pursue. This has like 3 things to do, none of which are even interesting. Should have just started a new game, as this is barely a v0.01 of a generic young-guy-lusts-after-his-adopted-family game, and left the previous version of The Way as a mostly finished game for people to enjoy (and to be in your portfolio).

I cannot play this, as much as I want. I really tried, but deleted it. The navigation is clunky, the language is throwing me out and it is too much clickaway text, the 2 best buddies motive mixed with incest is not my thing, and so on.
Maybe the reason for the many new starts is that there lacks an idea how to tell a good story? For me at least it is too much work for no compensation.

I was enjoying the 0.09 version and was looking forward to new content. But this, this is a different game entirely, and its a disappointment. I hope the dev goes back to the last version and if he has a new set up, then he can just clean up and improve the last version, then continue on with the story (and good lord, please leave out the moronic friend)

I really liked this game. Or better said the game this was before this update. This is completly different. Whats worse: it got annoying and lost all the content I liked. And here I was happy for an update. Im very disappointed.

in this update he really missed .... he should work on previous built, not start again,.... This game isnt The Way, it is something diferent.... I liked more previous version... that one doesnt even have any game play ... and probably it wont be any good even later.... Sorry to desapoint developer but this game ( NEW UPDATE, go back on old version,... and update it)... I like it more that this one....
I'd say that pretty much everything is worse. Renders, looks on characters, story is pedestrian and boring now, the navigation is a pain in the ass, the start with trying to find the key is a pest (I must have gone to every room before I thought to click on top of the shelf in the pause before the view closes automatically which is bullshit because closing automatically is the universal sign for "there's nothing to do here". I had some issues with the original variant (like being a chickenshit got you the best outcome, saving both girls) but this is not even the same game, and it went from a game to a brief demo that is... just like every other game out there. Mom, sis, neighbors, friend, yada yada.
Too bad. I thought it had potential as it was. This just doesn't interest me.
