If you are locked out of the shed. You only need to advance with her untill you can enter the shed. No need to finish her story.

Overall,an amazing update,much of a new content,and so far i have experienced only one very small bug.Isee that many of players complain about bugs,there is a simple solution to that.Start a fresh game,don't bother with the incest patch,except for some of the dialog it does not change anything else and enjoy.

Did you find the wood in front of the treehouse? If not then the event didn't trigger. If the wood is there but the paint is not then it may be a bug. If you can get the wood go to the work bench in the garage at your house and try to make it anyway.

Ok. Eventually every pointer is broken. Every step you have allready done is not valid anymore. But the event which leads to some pointers (like visiting mum in her bedroom) do not show up again. You have to start a completely new game. That sucks

With all the new story in this update, there are a lot of new event triggers in the game. Right now there are quite a few that are breaking things because there is very little check and balance being done in the code to make sure players don't break things. I imagine this will be sorted out with more updates over time.
Having to restart the game sucks. But that's part of being a tester on a unfinished product.
Save often and in diffrent slots so you can go back if and when things will break.

This does fix it - you just need to talk to her and tell her you've done it as well.
Doesn't fix all the other problems though
